Happy birthday! Enjoy your cake!

Very cool. Madness it may be, but very cool, very creative madness.

Use the skeletons, zombies, ghosts, etc., but pose them in certain ways to look like decorations. For example, tie the ghosts up to a tree using white thread to make them "float".

Ah. I just got it, but I can't figure out how to take out Clayface's last two hearts. The stupid Batarang keeps pointing to the security cameras, but I can't get it to do anything. EDIT: Aha. I get it. You have to aim the Wii-mote. Now that I figured it out, it's a lot more fun.

My favorite monster? Definately not my sister in the morning.

Silly walrus. Hell is for people. (and cats...)

Yep. Since I moved, I still have nowhere to put things (which is why this was on the floor), so I put figs where I could rather than leave them out. Gravity + clumsiness= ______ (Tuttle did it...)

Hey, thanks, guys. I wasn't expecting to get a whole lot of replies. This was my first venture into using SNoT as a base, and I really loved it. I've never ordered parts for a MOC before, and I guess it kind of told me that I can do a good MOC if I have the right pieces. All previous MOCs are scavenging for parts, MODing, or making something out of an old set. Really interesting. Really makes me want to try it again. Crap, I'm addicted... Whoops. Nah. I still want her to like me. I don't particularly care- I did it more for the sake of doing it than the grade. Well, we didn't go in depth- We skimmed over it and a few others. However, I do agree that it was very good. His imagery was probably the best I've read in a while. I just don't agree with his methods of telling people to be good... Thanks.

Hmm. Depending on what angle you look at it, this looks like two seperate fighters. From the side, it looks to be more of a light, scout fighter. But then in the last pic, from above, it does look thicker and more powerful. Maybe if you gave it a thicker cockpit? A payload? Bigger "jackrabbit ears" in the back? Otherwise, I like how this looks. I'm not so sure about the spikes, but the cannons are well built and the top view is just

My English Honors class (which is basically normal english... but it looks better on you ) gave an extra credit assignment on a sermen by a Puritan minister entitled "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God," which I thought was funny because it basically made you afraid to leave your house if you were a Puritan. So, I ordered parts from BL and built it. Took pics first, and then I gave it to the teacher. She's never gotten Lego assignments before, oddly. Anyway, here it is: This is the first time I've ever used this technique. Very fun. Seen here: The pit of Hell, a giant hand, and some poor guy. (the terrified face is one of the best things ever, don't you agree?) I had so much fun making this. The hand design is borrowed from wilbenelsket on brickshelf. Flickr link. Note: I'm not trying to be anti-religious, or anything. It's a school assignment. If it offends you for some reason, PM me or flame at me in the topic.

Knew you couldn't leave "things that go (fast)" alone for long. Grea job. The SNoT is excellent. I'm just not sure about the "swept forward" look on this small of a vehicle. It's cool, but just really ungainly.

The Many Adventures of the Whacker and the Walrus #7
Corvus replied to Hinckley's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Yes! Haha! It's here!....or not. A good first page, anyway. The good news is, we get to look forward to horribly senseless pain every week. It's almost better than Tom and Jerry. Then again, once you start putting in flattened minifigs... -
Apparently broken lego is funny here. I feel terrible because I laughed... What's wrong with me? I was expecting to see it beaten up, but not this. So why did I laugh? Human behavior is so wierd. ...but I do still think it's funny. Oof. All these MF and RGS disasters are so much worse. I didn't care too much for the AT-TE (Only got it for Rex) but if I dropped my RGS... If they did, they'd have to use even more Technic beams... I don't know about that. Look at you, laughing at other people's pain. I don't think I will... I didn't care for the build too much, and I didn't care for the legs, how the front and back were totally straight. The old one looked tougher.

It'd be a wise move to put in clones, especially the one with the Rancor teeth on his helmet...(drool) We already have Anakin and Ahsoka in how many sets now? Oh dear. We have 1 $20 dollar set, a $30, a $50, and two expensive ones... Better than this year, but I think TLC needs to start making good 10-30 dollar sets. We have amazing expensive ones, why can't we have good cheap ones, as well?

Oof. I know how you feel. I play the trumpet, and next parade is right around the corner. It may be lighter than the quads, but they use up so much air... whew. My friend (who is the shortest in the band) had to carry the base drum last time. She couldn't see over it. Apparently I'm in the school play now, Bye Bye Birdie. They needed a "marching band" for the scene when Conrad Birdie comes to town, and me and six other kids are going to be wearing our snazzy marching outfits and pantomime playing.

There's a lesson, here, kiddies. Never leave your stuff on the floor.

Last week: Went for an early B-day party with my friends. Played Wii for a while, went to the corn maze, and my friend got lost... right in front of us, in a dead end. Today, had the PSAT (very easy), had lunch with friends, and my parts for a MOC came from Grego. It's to build a MOC for school, depicting "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God". Great week.

Indeed. I asked for a title when I first got here, now look at it. Some stupid Swede got to it... I know one bad word in Swedish, and If I could spell it out at him, I would.

It's available at Target? I'm impressed. (and short fifty bucks...)
-
Republic Fighter Tank now available in the US. (Doesn't really seem worth it making a topic...) Edit: Whoopsy. It's available in the "Star Wars sets anyone?" thread. It'd help if I looked, wouldn't it?

Hey, look! It's Sinner's cousin.

My rendition of the popular Discovery Channel commercial
Corvus replied to oo7's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
I love that commercial so much. Great job. On a related note, I found this version. Also great. -
But it's not so much part of the universe that the parts of the universe are interspersed through it. And a Toa of Mercury, Sulfur, etc... I don't know a whole lot of Bionicle lore, but that'd be a bit too much... ah, I forget the word. Categorizing. I think it'd fall under the Toa of Earth... but a Toa of Mercury would be cool, though.
