Looks about right to me. Except maybe the shuttle- 60, maybe 70. Now that I look at it, it looks pretty bulky. Once I strip out the flick-fire mechanism, maybe work on the head a bit, this should be a wonderful troop carrier. The clone battle pack is the best of the lot. No way the best design, but anything with 3 clones and a 'pilot', is taking up most of my wallet money. Who is that 'pilot', anyway? TV series character? Looks cool, though. AAT- nice, but it could use a bit of help. I've been looking forward to this set for so long I'm going to get it anyway. The guns are too far out and the stupid cyclops eye needs help. Hyena doid- hmmm. Okaay. Wonder if the droids attack onto it...

#8. Wheeeeee! It was hard to decide, though- they're all great entries.

Happy birthday, fellow bird-lover! Did your Conure help you build it? (BTW, great signature. )

Cliched but true.

YES. Oh please, please, TLC, make this theme good! I don't know what I'd do if it ended up like the 4+ pirate theme... *shudder* At the least, give us something like vikings...but with figs-on-figs. Figs-on-monsters gets so boring after a while, but it sounds like the Kracken Attackin' set is like that...

It was good and bad at the same time. It they'd kept it just to T.V. ( They should have known the critics were going to shoot it down with a Death Star) and the dialogue...sucked. Some of it was cheesy, some of it not necessary, but part of it was the character's voices- Not enough expression. You could tell the actors were used to actually getting filmed saying it, rather than in a microphone. Also, the entrance was a bit rocky. It came in so fast, and that guy narrarating- what the-? The clones, though, were great. Rex was great, even if he was wearing blue... I thought Captains were red, and that they didn't color-code to legions rather than ranks until the phase 2 armor shift? Ah well, I look forward to the TV series.

When are the Clone Wars Battle Packs coming out?
Corvus replied to Pineapple's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Yup. I know I'm going to be using phase 2 pilots since we don't even have enough figs to fly our vehicles... and there's no way I'm putting Rex in the cockpit. -
The resemblence is uncanny... (*cough*Alpha Team *cough*) I like it! The engine pods are great- the use of the wheels is pretty clever.

I was browsing for the Clone Wars trailer, but found , a video made with Star Wars action figures dancing along to "We Will Rock You", by Niktom. Make sure to look at the other videos, to, particularly the talent shows.

My friends know about my lego addiction, and they refer to me as having a 'LEGO shrine'. It's funny- And they don't make fun of me, since they have they're own hobbies- Swimming, Tai-kwon-do, and Nintendo. The jerks that make fun of you are those who don't have a hobby of their own and don't do much...

Thanks for the pics. I have a question, though: What do you think of the scale? I've been a bit worried about the size of the wings in proportion to the body...
-
Hey, look, I dyed my hair! (last pic) Good idea. That'd be nice to stick on a shelf or something. that'd be cool to do with Eurobricks as a whole.

Which Sticker Would You Use On Your Republic Gunship
Corvus replied to Siegfried's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The more the merrier, they say, one for each... -
OK, minus ten for the placeholder, but plus about ten million for the review. This set is just amazing. It's really earned it's colors, and I'm sure no Classic Space fan can complain, even Snefroe . I didn't know it had the tilting function for the drill- S@H is so pathetic with its pictures, and they really missed this amazing function. The detachable ship is so cute, it's almost Classic Space in it's design. Major thumbs up to TLC. Hell, make it a hug, even.

Oooh. Finally a Takanuva review with good pics! From the pics I've seen on BS I've been undecided, but he looks great here. Some issues with the back, but it's fine, IMO. He does look big- a lot bigger than Maxilos. Finally a good super-titan! We've been missing one... How flexible are his arms? Can he reach above his head? Again, great review, VK.

Oof. Bad things happen in threes... Wait. *counts* Airlines are such hell these days.

Yay! More comics! Great as usual, DS. Where'd you get the idea from? Vice-presidents?
-
*mini-bump* Wow, I'd completely forgotten about this theme, which is suprising since I absolutely loved this theme as a kid (minus the sound n' light brick, which I thought was pretty big and ugly). Sure brings back memories of looking at those little catalogue booklets that came with the sets.

Yes, they are shaped helmets, but with a printed visor, so you can have the clone troop's heads rather than the solid black head... If it was printed cylinder, TLC would have a mob of AFOLs banging on their door with pitchforks...

Why, when I was a kid...

Isn't the V-19 going to be the cheapest? They're all overpriced, though... Anyway, yay, review! I'm not too sure about the magnaguard- the arms are too blocky, and the trans-red brick on the chest is way too big in comparison to the tiny head. Great ship, though, too bad the AT-TE and Gunship are going to suck up all my money...

WALL-E (WAAAaalll-EEEeee) Probably the best Pixar film I've seen- A great movie, and it went by fast. Too fast. Maybe it was because I missed all the long previews...
-
Hmm, maybe one of the testers complained that the prototype visor was too hard to see out of.

Adam Tucker´s great architecture models now produced by TLG
Corvus replied to CopMike's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Hmm, this thread just made me realize that we need to start teaching our kids about architecture and famous structures. I've heard of Sears tower, but that's about it. Ah well, Google should help with that... I might have to pass these up, but if we get a LEGO St. Luis Arch, Burj Dubai Tower, or ooh, the Space Needle.
