His father was a veteran of the 49 Years War and served on the High Council. Being the youngest, Thomas had almost no chance of inheriting anything, so he had to either join the order or the military. He joined the military, because first, he was not interested in the boring ceremonial lifestyle of an order cleric, and second, he was not that interested in the religion of the Faith. After joining the military, the king of Oleon, looking for new lands, hired him to lead one of the expeditions. So with his new ship, a sloop, he set off, looking for new lands... I'm just joining, in case I ever get interested. I will mostly spend time on GoH, though I might do a MOC here and there.

    Are you allowed to have colonies? I was thinking my character was considered a heretic by Oleon's government, so he and other persecuted people put together some money and founded a colony. Is that allowed?

    Sorry, but I have another question. Can I still build in embassy like in Book 1? I was planning on building an Avalonian embassy for my character's backstory.

    I have a suggestion. We should start a "Guilds of Historica Help", which is like the HELP!!! page, except it is for Guilds of Historica. That way users can ask questions of any kind about GoT and have them answered. What do you think? Suggestions are welcome.

    Hi, I'm LegoEomer, a relatively new member to Avalonia. Posting a signature fig would mean you are an official member of the guild. You can also claim land if you have a signature fig. Besides that, I don't know much, but welcome!

    I really like the detail on the outside of your tower, but what impresses me most is your interior. They look so realistic I can imagine what it would have looked like if it was real. Nice job, SK.

    I was going to make some builds about the history of Avalonia/Historica, and I'm just a curious person in general.

    I need help again. Could some tell me more on the history of Avalonia? Was there a name for "the war to rid Avalonia of evil"? When did it happen, and how long did it last? If I have a Flickr account, how can I post images on Eurobricks? What exactly is the Kaliphlin Civil War? Who is the ruler of Historica? Does Task 5 have to follow the exact guidelines? Like does it have to be a certain size? I know I can do Task 5 in LDD, but what about the other Tasks? What is the University of Petraea? Thank you again for helping me with these questions.
