  1. I, too, am not a fan of the short shirt sleeves, but overall I am a fan.
  2. Terrible. I remember when Happy Meal toys were something to look forward to.
  3. Just got one in S.16. Don't think they're gonna go back to that well so soon.
  4. I could go for both of those. That's a thought.
  5. Yuppie as a term was coined in the '80s. Not sure how you would discern a regular minifig businessman figure from a young urban professional minifig, but I'd like to see them try it. The yo-yo goes all the way back to the Greeks, and it's a fad that jumps up every generation, so I wouldn't peg it as an '80s thing. The same goes for yachtsmen and Yoga instructors, not expressly '80s phenomenona. Though there was a surge of interest in yoga in the '80s. So maybe? I'm leaning towards yuppie, and if it is I can see a lot of white, aqua and bright pink parts in my future.
  6. Quite the opposite, actually. Pretty sick of running into him, to be honest.
  7. The suit/mascot figures just get better and better. Corn Cob Suit Guy should inspire some epic roasted corn truck/trailer MOCs.
  8. I'm pretty sure there is wear on the printing on the Batman head in the Phantom Zone polybag, but I'll need to crack it open to see for sure. Other than that and my Catwoman Chase not having the oft-reported second printed slope piece everything I've gotten seems to be alright. Incorrect parts in the CMFs would vex me greatly.
  9. Looks like Wal-Mart is starting to catch up. I found CMFs and all the sets Target has had for a couple of weeks at one of the area Wallys today.
  10. They do. Some of those tusks are pretty big, and it makes me think they were taking them from mammoths and mastodons. Looks great, SkywardBrick.
  11. It looks good. I intend to do something similar, as I want a black-suited Joker to tool around in the Lowrider.
  12. Someone on 4Chan or Reddit posted that combo, but I can't seem to find it. I can second that it looked good, however.
  13. I went in and it looked like a CMF bomb had gone off. Series 16 and Disney Series discarded on practically every aisle in the toy section. Someone had taken the last seven TLBM packs and left them by some Paw Patrol toys. Managed 4/6 I still wanted to get, as well as a Phantom Zone polybag. Those were over in the Valentine's Day area, curiously enough. Wal-Mart has yet to put out anything aside from the first three sets. Haven't bothered to check TrU, yet.
  14. Two-Face's and Harley's respective vehicles don't do a thing for me, but I like Scarecrow's autogyro, especially if I can get a bigger main rotor on there.
  15. I felt the same, but actually getting it built softened me on the price a bit. I am in no way implying you shouldn't wait for a sale/deal to come around, just that in my experience the buyer's remorse wasn't so bad.
  16. Criminally under-utilized, that big shark mold, and fairly expensive on the secondary market. I think the zombie variant is pretty neat, but I don't think it's gonna be the hook that gets me to buy an expensive PoC set. Ah, well. Maybe they'll find a way to work the original UA version into the Summer '17 jungle-themed sets.
  17. Built it yesterday. I agree that it was a fun build, and getting space for a couple of more figures was a breeze. Got the Catwoman set for Christmas, gonna build it this evening.
  18. LEGO really needs to "borrow" a lot of these. I especially like the concept of Sneaky Guy, and I applaud that there's something for everyone.
  19. Saw it at Target, in case anyone is looking. Kind of regret not grabbing it just for the Phantom Zone...thing.
  20. Target was bountiful with TLBM sets today. I went 9 for 9 on the CMFs. I still have half-a-dozen to find, but I'll suss them out eventually. Mime struck me as taking the longest, though if I couldn't run a nail along the ribbing on The Eraser he may have proven vexing to locate, too.
  21. #5 Female Elf? #11 Another animal-keeper, perhaps a veterinarian?
  22. Orca is what they'd call "THICC" on 4Chan. The bigger issue is utilizing the shark suit pieces. From the scant images I can hunt up, she's usually a big gal with a dorsal fin. I can pop some black arms on her, maybe heresy a Venom head to make a little less lazy.
  23. I'd go check, but I know my Target is lousy with S.16 and Disney wave. Everywhere is, save for K-Mart, with their box of S.14.
  24. Can it be summer already, so I can get those Flying Monkeys?
