  1. He's a Retiarius and the omission of a net from his kit is a pretty big oversight. Either the fabric 10x10 net or the half-cone web they introduced for Spider=Man last year would have worked for me. Ah, well. Brick Link will fix LEGO's screw-up.
  2. Easier to pick a least favorite from this wave, as I find it a particularly strong one.
  3. Another excellent review. I cannot wait for this wave.
  4. Gonna print that out, just in case I run into these in the wild before the first.
  5. Supposition, or have you been let in on the secret?
  6. Huh? I'm talking about the secrecy being a marketing gimmick. It's gonna be a yellow minifigure, just like all the other non-licensed CMFs.
  7. Ah, as I suspected, a marketing gimmick. That aside, I'm glad to see these in the "flesh". Great line.
  8. A person who would rob travelers, particularly on the road. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Highwayman As to why the Highwayman, who knows. The inner machinations of LEGO's mind are an enigma. I think I'm gonna get a spare and make an Adam Ant figure.
  9. He's the Yuppie. I definitely support the Miami Vice observation, I'm loving it. This is the list I saw on Reddit. Grain of salt and all of that. Sausage Man • Elf Girl • Butterflies Girl • Circus Strong Man • Veterinarian • Battle Dwarf • Dance Instructor • Gourmet Chef • Connoisseur • Corn Cob Man • Roman Gladiator • Rocket Boy • Professional Surfer • Retro Spaceman • Yuppie • Secret Character (Highwayman?)
  10. Mega does that with their TMNT blind bag series. The "ultra rare" secret figure. They don't do multiple variations, just short pack (one or two a case, maybe?) that particular figure. It's definitely how Mr. Gold should have been handled.
  11. This one is pretty easy. Frightening Knight gets the vote, though I do like Wiley Fusebot.
  12. Finally! This might just be the first CMF series I complete. Surfer is still weak, but that shark surfboard is cool.
  13. I wouldn't mind that being the case this time.
  14. Actually, the first Stateside sightings of the Disney wave were in mid-April. It's not unfeasible for these to be on shelves in two weeks. I think we've seen official photos of every Summer 2017 product except these damn things.
  15. I only have half of her, but my vote goes to the Forest Maiden. Honorable mentions to the Geisha and the Horseback Rider (whom I'll never own).
  16. I actually built a squad of Zombie Cheerleaders, but I've got to say I'm surprised she's leading at this early stage. That said, I think the Banshee might be the better figure. Gonna have to mull this one over.
  17. Ugh, this is a tough one. Viking Woman, Egyptian Queen and the Mime are all figures I'm fond of.
  18. They can do the standard reveal for the other fifteen figures while simultaneously explaining the deal with the Highwayman, and all without spoiling the "surprise".
  19. Faun, though I really like most of this round's entries.
  20. Eh, it might appeal to kids, which is fine. It'll cease being a mystery 10 seconds after the first AFOL to get a case pops him open and gets the pics uploaded.
  21. What's odd is that we've gotten a feel guide before we've even seen the last figure.
  22. By and large I think stickers are no bueno, but I have been known them on rare occasions. I think the fiery skeleton stickers from the Queen Anne's Revenge are pretty cool, and I check BL occasionally if a set of glass with them applied is available from a US seller.
