Just the catalog preliminaries.

I'm not a fan of the launcher myself, but eh, it's LEGO. Take it off and plate/tile over the spot.

[REVIEW] 5004939 - TLBM Minifigures (Bricktober 2017)

Counted 13 at the local TrU today, looks like the free with $50 is still going, too. -
So far, new helmets, armor and shields for the vamps, and new armor for the Knights.

Whether I buy anymore will largely depend on how deep clearances get. Bummed that Holtzmann with sunglasses is never gonna happen, but I imagine that had less to do with Dimension's imminent demise and more to do with GB2016 auguring in.

Yeah, I am. I thought the pic was in here, but I may have just posted in the wrong forum.

Man, I'm liking the stunt plane more than I thought. Really like the shape of the fuselage, and since I'm on a sky pirate kick, I can definitely see me picking up at least one for messing around with the configuration.

That figure is awesome.

Out of the Loop: Did the Collectible Minifigure Economy Crash?

Most of her price is that medical chart. I'm not paying $12.50 for a damn tile, so my Nurse will stay incomplete. -

It was the most numerous set available at my store at the beginning of the week. I haven't been back, but I could probably check today, -
Stills of Garmadon from SoG are out. Shares the same wounds as the figure.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours

Definitely! I'm excited for it's potential, but also dread LEGO's propensity for carrot-and-stick tactics. I just know they're going to stick the best stuff in sets. -

I'm interested to see how many of them are barrel scrapings. There are a couple of genuinely good ones, and there may be a couple of more that we don't yet know about. Got to be honest, most of my enthusiasm for S.2 went out the door once it was revealed they were gonna toss the FaF figures in that damn DTC set. No thanks, LEGO. Just thankful we're not gonna see a half-hearted TLNM S.2. -

For those of us still looking for the Kiss-Kiss keychain, Target is giving them away with a $30 LEGO Batman purchase starting the 29th. -
[REVIEW] 5004941 - Classic Minifigures (Bricktober 2017)

Quite easily, actually. No connection to any of that era of Ninjago lore. One golden ninja looks like another, so that one's out. Young Krux? Actually less interesting than old Krux. That leaves the elemental master, and I'm right back to no idea about the lore. Come to think of it, I'm not sure what would have made me happy in a Ninjago pack. I could cook up a couple easily for Nexo Knights, but all I really want from Ninjago are villains and Day of the Departed dumped a bunch of those one us, making a Bricktober pack of them largely pointless. Doesn't matter, Batpack was solid, and the City and CMF ones provided stuff I liked. -

I kind of wouldn't mind that being the case. -

It's looking that way, though. I've seen some speculation that 2/3 of the CMF slots will be taken by TLM2 and The Billion Brick Race. The saving grace is that TLM2 could err close to a "regular" CMF series. -

I picked mine up yesterday, and am pleased with the two I bought them for, in general. The Hippie and Boxer are jockeying for last place, as the originals were NOT particularly compelling, and the recolors don't do them any favors. My only real issue with the sailor is the white trousers. He looks a lot better with dark blue legs. Now that it's over, I think these were much better Bricktober sets than last year, even though none of the sets averaged better than two great figures (while none of the Ninjago ones were even interesting). If nothing else, they were at least cohesive figures, and not frankenfigures from whatever was sitting in the Build-a-Minifigure bins. -

I'd expect a book for the 40th anniversary of the minifigure or the 10th anniversary of the CMF line. -
That jacket really is a great print. I'm always looking for parts to make pilots, and this would have been a great one aside from the aforementioned strips. Can't win 'em all, though.

What appears to be the complete tree suit-wearing crook has shown up. He looks a lot more cohesive with the dark brown arms (and presumably torso) and bearded face.

I really am a fan of that new gal's head printing.
