One word awesomeness !! *oh2* That first picture is killing me. Best icy / water effect ive ever seen, those edges just works totally perfect ! Can i ask what colour schemes you used for the plates underneath the tiles ? Also the hut is looking incredible. I totally love this !

[MOC] Bahnhof Zoo: Not for the children
KlodsBrik replied to mechamike's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Great MOC. I so love the use of the grey / white and black palette used this way. At LEGO World denmark 2014( it might have been 2015) i saw a MOC made exactly this way but IRL, even looking at it with ones own eyes it looks "photoshopped" or like a black white photo. Really does something tricky to ones mind. Anyhow your build is lovely with tons of nice details.- 14 replies

Stuff that's in Dimensions but not its own line
KlodsBrik replied to ResIpsaLoquitur's topic in LEGO Licensed
When Dimensions was first released a representant for LEGO went on danish television saying what they did for now was testing the market for it in Denmark and the States. Depending on sales (offcourse), more content would be developed. To me, starting of with The Wizard of Ozz, without having an idea for a further Level pack would make no sense. Im pretty sure that we will se some interesting packs in the future, given that Dimensions have done well. ( afaik ). Whenever more countries have Dimensions released with their own official language track, we will have an indication of what is to come. Thats how i interpreted the interview with that LEGO official. -
Great ones.

Haha .... Nice idea and quite well executed as well. I had a cat that once did the same by accident when it got a bag over its head and got scared. Lovely little vignette. Great work !

Yeah, nice scale indeed. Looks a lot bigger than what i can figure out it actually is. Awesome part usage as well. The arms and shield looks great and the "head" piece fits the character as a whole perfectly. Great work here.

[WIP] Technic Dalek
KlodsBrik replied to JamesJT's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
You had me at Dalek ... Then this My god your on my radar fellow Whovian .... Cant wait to se how this turns out ! Expect the Doctor to step up by your doorstep any day in the future or past to stop this madness of yours. You might be the dude who invented them to begin with. Great work so far. -
I made a scanner
KlodsBrik replied to technical's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I saw your printer already, but was speechless and didnt really know what to reply with except WFT .... Im definately not new to LEGO, but the whole world of technics is something i wished that ive had started to practice my skills with earlier on in my life. Now this scanner of yours. Its to me just beyond insane awesomeness. I cant even begin to comprehend how this is possible ( I know its "just a matter of software and programming skills").But still, out of LEGO. Awesome awesome job with this.- 6 replies

Thanks. I know its not that much. It was more the techniques used to get these forms that made me post it. In case you havent seen, ive made a thread in Licensed with a lot of my (very) old Doctor Who builds , also a thread with a reconstructed tardis exterior design.

[SR - FB 4] A wonderful machine!
KlodsBrik replied to Vedauwoo's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Good to seee all those "father and son´s" bottles get to fullfill the very porpose of theirs. This machine is kinda awesome, if one drinks to much from the destillery, one would surely think it was the work of an alchymist. Another nice build from you !- 19 replies

I like the look of the water ..... Works very well the way have have leveled it. Water is such a tricky thing to get right with bricks. Would love to se this on a massive scale. Anyhow great little build.

What a gorgeous mansion. The building itself is looking stunning. As does the interior. And the whole yard in front of it just add to the lovliness of this whole MOC. Very good job on this indeed. Love it !

Great build. Lots of activity going on everywhere. Your small waterfall and the little river looks great. As does your house. Nice work !

Lovely diorama. So much to look at. Seems like you and the team worked very well together in order to make this in such short time. I find both the pool, the farm and the church to be very gorgeous, Great work indeed.

Missy / Master would be great for exactly that reason, as much as one might hate him/her, she/he is to be loved anyway (no spoilers ). The mind of the master does its timelord job and fullfills the overall job of what DW is about ( some seasons ago ) ... Overall the character of Missy wants to be just as good as The Doctor, bringing his / hers vision of what the world should be like. I mean, who am i to tell what is right and wrong ? .. Just as everyone else. We all want everything to be great, on behalf on others. The world is a messed up place.

That american diner would be awesome ! Just cant se how it would be build ... Oh, on a second note i actually could. Thought about it. A very small MOC will be coming up very soon ! And while this is still only in my head as an creative idea, it might even work as an Dimensions build as well .. Anyhow, i would like to se both Clara, Me and the diner .... Unfortunately Me, feels like its not gonna leave the idea table since one would have to know so much about the series to sell her and make it affordable.

A dark age can happen to all of us, but luckily the bricks are still around waiting for us to grab them up and build something awesome. Welcome back, and hope you will enjoy EB as much as the rest of us do. Ive had some three periods in my life ( Im 42 now ) where i left LEGO for a while, but ive always returned, since we just cant let these little creative bastards alone. Welcome back to you as well !

[MOC] Hanging gardens of Babylon. (WIP)
KlodsBrik replied to KlodsBrik's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Thanks all. No new pictures yet. And i havent given up on it at all. Still waiting for February to arrive. Seems i will be able to afford what pieces im still in need of then. I have been working on a lot of tree techniques and improving a lot of other small stuff aruond the build. Now im cleaning up ever brick i have laying around. Taking apart every unfinished MOC´s i have staying around to prepare to finish this up. Im super excited to be honest. Thanks for keeping this alive EB community. -
Im in the process of cleaning up all unfinished MOC´s i have staying around to prepare for finishing my Hanging gardens of Babylon. Some are going straight to the trashbin, some i feel is ok to post. This started out as trying to sculpture a "Cthoor" which is a wormlike creature that has a thousand teeths in its mouth that can only carve inwards. So if it first starts to chew on a truck for example, it wont be able to stop till the whole truck has been chewed and digested. ( Source: War against the Cthoor - Book one - A matter for men ) Which will be my next string of MOC´s along with Doctor Who builds. I can only urge all SciFi fans to read these brilliant books as i think they are the best SciFi ever, and im a Whovian you know. However it quickly became to big for that build, and i still liked the forms and it was new to me trying to sculpture MOC´s, so instead it turned into this rat like creature. All feedback is welcome as usual. KlodsBrik.
