  1. Neither Scarlet Spider nor Spider-Woman have the traditional 'outline' around their eyes, so yeah, if anything, it'll just be a thin black line to separate the white and the red. I dunno, as far as I've seen/heard, all we have is the UK price. I wouldn't be surprised if this one ended up costing around the same as Jokerland, somewhere in the $120-range. Still day-one for me, though. Scarlet Spider will be mine. Oh yes. He will be mine. STILL waiting to see a good close-up of him...
  2. Hmmm, indeed, that is VERY interesting.....
  3. I thought about that too, and I dread to know the answer.....
  4. Um. No. Good luck with your refund. A) Massive success does not equate to universal recognition. Especially ancillary characters. Everyone knows Superman, but who's heard of Mon-El? I'd argue that the Doctor, the TARDIS, and the Daleks are the ONLY ones with such a high level of recognisability. And half the people that recognize them can't get the names straight. B) At this point, I'm not sure I trust you to do ANYTHING without bias. You can't even RECOGNIZE your own bias. Everyone else certainly can. C) Well, I agree with the first half of this point, but no one treating you like ****. At least not from TLG or TT. Obviously the company will do whatever they feel will make them the most money. I'm sorry you feel so singled out. You seem to feel that you are owed something. You are not. That would be cool! Someone else mentioned spots for two more keystones, which is a solid point. And any more that can be added to the story mode would be a welcome addition for me.
  5. Ah, sorry, I was unclear. When used normally as a seat with the studs on the bottom/top, as in spaceships and such, the spot I was referring to would be the back. The stroller is being oriented in the opposite direction, with the back now being the bottom. That's where I meant there's no stud: in the position directly underneath the baby's feet. Know what I mean? A stud-hole on the back of the baby still wouldn't be able to attach to the stud you thought I was talking about, though. The cheese slopes would get in the way. So would the other studs, for that matter. I'm not sure if anyone was even saying it would attach there, I'm just sayin'. @Robert8: I seriously cannot wait for the Someone with Something EDIT: I reread my earlier post. Yeah, that was confusing. I said there's probably no stud hole on the back, then switched to saying there's no stud in the position under it's feet, but I forgot to explain that I was talking about a different spot.
  6. Ah, my mistake. Is there no way to get it other than bundled with the physical copy of the game? That's unfortunate, but on the other hand, at least you don't have snafus like we do, with stores not getting enough. Also, are the bundles available in multiple stores, or are they exclusive? Just curious, since I hate Game Stop and wouldn't have gone there if not for this minifig.
  7. I honestly doubt there's a stud-hole in the back. I'd actually put money on it, but only five bucks. There's no stud in that position in the stroller, that's true, but I imagine the baby just sits in it. The angle is all that's keeping it in place. I am all-seeing and all-knowing. Trust me. Or not.
  8. Not sure that matters. When I went to pick up the game, the clerk tried to sell me a warranty for scratches and laser burns, so I asked for a digital copy instead. No problem. Went home with a code on my receipt and Silver Centurion. But yeah, it was still full price :/
  9. Hmm, I appreciate the close up shots, but after seeing them, I'm not nearly as excited as I was. Scarecrow is only vaguely B:TAS-styled, but I don't care for anything else in the set, really. Blue Beetle is cool for the novelty of it, but I'm a Ted Kord kinda guy, so I don't really care. I was waiting to see better pics to make a judgement call about Croc. I thought there was a chance I might like it, but no, I think it looks pretty atrocious. I like Red Hood, though his bat-symbol looks a bit odd, like they couldn't decide if it was printed on or below the jacket. Honestly, with the weird bat-logo issue on Red Hood, I think Captain Boomerang and Katana are the best-looking of the bunch, but unfortunately I don't care about them. I'll probably be passing on both of these sets, though Scarecrow and Red Hood are possible candidates for BrickLink. I would've liked to see the Juniors sets up-close as well. I'm thinking Battle Armor Lex might look best with a combination of the original polybag verison and this new version, so I bit the bullet and grabbed him off eBay earlier today. I was hoping Green Goblin's new dual-molded legs might look good on him, but the color is a bit too magenta. Speaking of which, I REALLY wish the Spider-Man minifigs had been in the video, since those are the ones I'm most looking forward to this round. Here's hoping for more Justice Leaguers *couch cough Firestorm* in the next wave!
  10. I thought that as well. It actually made me wonder if we might get Jack in the Disney minifig line. Could be cool. Still dig it as Ghost Rider, though!
  11. Despite your reiteration, this game cannot survive one the strength on ONE franchise.
  12. Agreed, but I honestly think that there's nothing they could ever do with molded plastic that would look perfect. The only way to make it look perfect would be digital effects or real fire. As a kid, I doused my Human Torch action figure in something flammable and lit him on fire. The flames were disappointingly not to scale. And he didn't fly for long. MORAL: Kids are dumb.
  13. I like the view in this one better. It's less blurry and I get a better sense of it when zoomed waaaaay in: http://zusammengebau...res-lehmann.jpg I was thinking about this a bit. My main problem is that he looks exactly like Doctor Who, but now that you mention it, yeah, he does look too old. I would really prefer to see the new Superman hair mold in grey. I think that would look splendid. EDIT: @Legocity2713: http://instantrimshot.com/
  14. Unless it's our very first Invisible Woman! Sweet, I want it!
  15. Oh my, does this mean you don't know what BrickLink is? Man, the first time I found out about that site was MAGICAL. If you don't know it, go to bricklink.com. You can find almost anything and everything there. Some people create things digitally first (or even exclusively) with programs like LDD and LDraw and others that I don't know of, since I don't use them.
  16. Yeah, it looks pre-attached. There's no neck. And looking at the microfigure picture above, the baby's head stud is certainly smaller in relation to the head-size. It appears to be the same circumference as the baby's hand, actually. Still cool!
  17. It's just a cartoony version of the comic Spidey. The cartoony aesthetic is one of the main features of the Mighty Micro line. They all have silly expressions, larger logos, short legs, and no muscle-printing.
  18. Definitely not. Look at the surrounding pieces. The round piece on the bottom of the stroller is 2x2. In fact, it looks very similarly-sized to the LEGO Game microfigure, the one with the squared 1x1 bottom. The proportions are different though, to more closely resemble a baby than a miniature figure. I can't definitively say it's 1x1, but it's definitely not 2 studs wide, and it would make zero sense for it to be anything in between. And it looks about 5 plates high, same as standard legs, plus the stud on top. Yes folks, I think it's safe to say that we will be able to stack these babies. EDIT: Damn, the head-stud looks proportionally smaller. No baby-stacking
  19. Easy. My love for Scarlet Spider is irrational and undying, Ghost Rider is the closest second, but even he trails far behind. Trails. Ha.
  20. You don't like Marvel? This is the first I'm hearing of it.
  21. The baby definitely looks sized to fit on a stud/minifig hand/etc. ^ This. Though she will be able to hold the baby, and presumably the new bottle piece as well. Should be really cool!
  22. RE: Juniors Power Armor Lex Well, that's disappointing. The lime-green for his armor piece is baffling, especially considering his hands are still dark green And no printed tile to go on the armor. The Bruce Wayne head doesn't really bother me, so no particular qualms there. The tank build looks fairly neat though, so that's something, I guess. I also might just pick up the old one from eBay or BrickLink. Kinda depends on whether I can get it for cheaper than this set. Hmm. Damn, that's a let-down. EDIT: Did I incorrectly remember a printed chest tile for the old one? It doesn't seem to be there, but I could've sworn it existed. Was that just in-game? Arg. EDIT 2: Oh man, there are so many things I didn't notice at first. His whole color scheme is flipped. Purple torse with green hands and legs. Hmm. Interesting. This will definitely require deliberation.
  23. Ah. Yes. Makes sense! On an unrelated note, I went to Game Stop this evening and picked up the Avengers video game and the Silver Centurion Iron Man. I gotta say, for as great as he looks, I'm a tad disappointed. The Silver Centurion suit was always one of my favorite comic book suits. In my opinion, this minifig actually has too much printing. That's a rare complaint, I'm sure, but it's true for me. I prefer comic-based designs over movie-based, generally, and for this guy, the movie-influenced printing, while incredibly detailed and great for a movie-version, is way over-complicated compared to the cleaner comic-version. Another minor gripe is the effect of the overly bulky printed tiles for the armor. Again, the printing looks fantastic, but they add too much mass in certain places. His arms look far too skinny when they are down at his side. Again, a very minor complaint. All in all, the figure is gorgeous, if not exactly what I want. I will say that the photo on the packaging is wonderful, and taken at what is surely the most flattering angle and pose possible. The photo worked wonders in selling me on this figure, and even in person, when posed in a dramatic flying position, all flaws are forgiven. And that black eye for Tony is just wonderful I give a solid 3.762 out of 5. I asked the clerk if it was possible to buy a second promo fig, so she checked the inventory and compared them to the number of pre-orders, then just handed me another!
  24. Whoa. Complete and utter disagreement. I think that would look horrible. I think the new piece that Kraven has, colored white, would work better than the ruffle. But I do agree that I'm okay without it. He looks pretty good still. Lol. Yes. Thanks, TLG! *clap clap clap*
