It may be a bit pedantic, but actually, he claimed to like LESS than half. Far less. He likes Joker's car. Presumably, he does not like the minifigures involved in that set, as well as not liking the other set at all. There definitely seems to be a bit of a different aesthetic to this line, so perhaps he doesn't care for that. I mean, I agree with you, there's still 11 sets and a CMF line to see, and who knows what those will bring? But hey: Legoman123 no like. Bad medicine.

I don't know, but perhaps it would depend on how you framed the issue. If you just say there was an issue with a CMF, then they might send a random replacement. But that part is used in the Fun in the Park set, so they should have access to the piece for replacement services. There's really only one way to find out, and that's to give them a ring and see what they say. Or you could use the replacement parts section of the website. I'm not a fan of people who abuse that service, but there WAS a problem with that particular piece, and in my mind, it would be justified, regardless of whether or not you have the Fun in the Park set. YMMV. While we all sympathize, I think we would all like to see that picture as well HA!! Sure you were, buddy. Sure you were.

Haven't heard anything about a LBM D2C. Not that I know people or things. But there's already 13 sets dedicated to LBM, plus a CMF line, so I doubt there will be a D2C/UCS-style set. Completely OT, but all of those acronyms reminded of this: "Excuse me, sir. Seeing as how the V.P. is such a V.I.P., shouldn't we keep the P.C. on the Q.T.? I'd just like to point out, again, how annoying it is to have all of these different DC threads. I follow THREE DC threads already, and yet I didn't know this one existed until 2 hours ago, at which point I read everything here. I wondered why that other LBM thread was so dead. I guess I'm following four threads now. And almost every person from each thread is in all of the other threads. Gee, I wonder why. I didn't even know there were unspeakable prelim photos floating around until just now, but after two minutes on google, I found them, and....there's not really much to say. We all figured there would be a bigfig Bane, but this is too rough to judge. But yeah, it does look like an adult riding a kids' bike

Huh. I mean, it will undoubtedly look cool, but that's a personal thing. If you can afford it and want to do it, well, hell, do it. If I had an unlimited LEGO budget and display room, I do it in a heartbeat. You can even sell the figures from the second set to recoup some of the money spent. But for me, I can't make that happen. So I won't. I guess I don't understand your question. Are you asking if we think it would be cool? Hell yeah. No doubt. But if you're asking for public opinion on whether YOU should get a second one, well...how old are you? How much money do you make? What are your current financial commitments? Are you married? Kids? How old? How does your savings account look? Do the kids have college funds established already? Etcetera, etcetera, ad infinitum. If you really want public opinion on this, I would say, and I think everyone else will back me up on this, you should buy the second bridge and send me the figs for free. I dunno, bro, but whatever you do, feel free to post pics

He looks like a decent figure, but he was never one I was interested in. I dunno, historical figs don't generally float my boat. As for my fave of the wave, I'm surprised by how much I like the Wildlife Photographer. I knew I would love the penguin, and I do, but the fig itself is pretty impressive in person. Especially with a crew of them I'm also surprised by how much I like the Cyborg. I fully expected to skip that fig based on the name, but she looks great! The colors on both of those figures really pop. And of course the Mariachi Guy is perfect. Three-way tie, I guess, for the Mariachi, Photog, and Cyborg. The Emo Kid (which is what I'm calling him) is the biggest disappointment to me of the figs I got. Together, he and the Goth Girl remind me of the South Park episode where the goth kids get all pissed off at the new-wave, Hot-Topic-shopping, emo vamp-kids. I feel the same way about him that they did, I think. But I wanted that book and I like his shirt.

Check out the LEGO Batman Movie thread. There are pics of the new Robin figure at Brickset, and they will surely be posted to that thread soon. It's supposedly Dick Grayson, but it looks so much like Carrie Kelley. (And a bigfig Frank Miller Dark Knight might be the only bigfig I would ever actually want. That's just hilarious.)

New pics of both sets on Brickset. I'd have to go find the pic-posting FAQ, so I'll wait for someone savvier to post them here. ANYWAY. Holy cow, this wave is going to bleed me dry. These are odd and awesome, and I love the tone! These are probably both a "buy" for me. That Batgirl is pretty amazing. Im pretty sure it could pass for Batgirl '66 or Batgirl of Burnside. Either way, I like this WAY more than the one Batgirl we have already. Joker and Harley are...strange, and I'm not totally sold on their looks, but Harley's hairpiece is so incredibly interesting that I would love to have it, even if I don't know what for. Joker is "meh" aside from the hair, but his car is fantastic! As for the Batmobile, it sure is an aggressive-looking beast! I'll be getting that Robin figure whether I get the set or not, but the rest of the set (namely the vehicle) is cool enough that I might get the whole thing depending on the price. The Kabuki twins look interesting enough, I suppose, but seeing that Man-Bat is such a bummer. The only really weak point in the whole reveal, personally. Maybe it's because literally everything else is new or different, but that's just disappointing. Or maybe it's because I really dislike that figure....AND I already have him All in all, looks badass, and I can't wait to see more of these! EDIT: I know it's unlikely, but I sincerely hope those are actual zebra prints in Joker's car and not zebra-print stickers. That would be SO. WONDERFUL.

Agreed. If the TRAILER ITSELF hadn't set us up for that expectation, I could accept the life preserver because of it's size, and if I ever happened to play together as Sonic and Gollum, I might think to myself, "Huh, that's weird, why didn't they use the One Ring? Oh well!" But they set us up to think that already! It's just odd. I surely don't care much though. I've got plenty of rings, and I love that Sonic fig.
