I'd be tempted to have the Dark Knight drive Knight Rider. -

Trust me to be interested in the most popular Ideas set and make my parents' Christmas shopping hard.
-
I mean, I have no reason to complain now seeing as I know I'm getting the LEGO Doctor Who set for Birthday/Christmas but it still bugs me a little that buying LEGO sets has become like purchasing tickets for a concert. What I mean by this is: with concerts, you literally have to buy tickets straight away in order to stand a chance of getting a seat. With LEGO sets now, it seems like you have to buy them straight away in order to stand a chance of getting a set. It may just be me but it feels like LEGO sets on the day of their release have become very hard to get hold of. What does everyone else think? Is it comparable to purchasing concert tickets? Or is it a daft comparison?

Why would it be sarcasm? It looks great.

Jurassic World 2015 Rumors & Discussion

I'm not surprised if it is. A surprisingly poor choice of sets given the amount of key moments from the Jurassic Park/World franchise they could have used.- 1,412 replies

It's very impressive; think you have to be the best Master Builder I've seen online. Have you ever considered working for LEGO?

No, I think they'd come to a deal where the Nintendo minifigures, vehicles and gadgets are only compatible with the Wii U. -

Whilst I don't think Star Wars and most Marvel stuff won't happen, I don't see why Agents of SHIELD couldn't. Disney likely wouldn't want to include the show in Infinity anyway because it's not as high profile as Iron Man, Spider-Man, Thor... As for Nintendo, I wouldn't be that surprised to be honest. I think it would suit the tone of the LEGO games well and I've never got the impression that Amiibos are in direct competition with other toys-to-life games considering Skylanders Superchargers features Nintendo characters. As for another building blocks company having the Mario rights, they could always lose the license. -

In terms of new franchises, I'd like to see: Harry Potter Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them Les Miserables (Yes, I know it's never going to happen) The Flintstones Super Mario Agents of SHIELD Humans (Again, I know it's never going to happen) Shaun of the Dead (See Humans) Wallace & Gromit Returning franchises: Doctor Who Simpsons Jurassic World Ghostbusters I would also add Back to the Future to that list but I don't think there's enough mileage in it once you get past Doc Brown. I can't see Biff Tannen or Lorraine fun packs selling well. -
Missy simply has to happen. I will be very surprised if they don't release either a team pack with Missy and Clara or a fun pack. It could be like the Doctor NFC minifigure in that it could give you the ability to regenerate and play as every incarnation of the Master so far. Would like a Zygon too but Missy is a must.
-
Personally, I would hope that if there's a CMF series we'd get some more fun packs and at least one team pack for Dimensions too. One level pack and one fun pack isn't enough.

Review Review - 21304 LEGO IDEAS Doctor Who

There wouldn't be all this back order problem if LEGO just accepted pre-orders so they could pre-determine the demand. Thank God the LEGO Shop isn't the only online shopping site that sells LEGO sets.- 75 replies

Yeah, I agree. It's too animated. Which means it would work well for a 10th Doctor based on the rubbish animated version from Dreamland.
-
After Christmas, yes. But many will want to buy this before Christmas as presents and if people buy two and the set sells out, they're spoiling it for others.
-
Why do people keep going on about buying two? Is there no concept of fairness on this forum?
-
Doctor Who is a family drama, not a kid's show. Us adults will buy the Colin Baker and Paul McGann minifigures.

Well, it's nearly Tuesday 1st December and I'm still ****** off at LEGO for unfairly releasing it too close to Christmas and not putting it up for pre-order. If this set sells out and I don't get it for Christmas, this is how I'll feel towards them:- 75 replies

Jurassic World 2015 Rumors & Discussion
LEGODalekbuster523 replied to adotnamedstud's topic in LEGO Licensed
To be honest, I think the Jurassic World line of LEGO sets is hugely disappointing. Nothing that directly resembles any scene in the movie (more indirectly) and no sets based on the previous three Jurassic Park films. If I were LEGO, I'd have done: Jurassic Park/World Gates featuring Owen Grady, Claire Dearing, John Hammond and Ian Malcolm Wu's Lab featuring Henry Wu and a cracked Indominus Rex egg with a baby Indominus Rex inside Hamster Gyrosphere Ball (I'm sure you all know which scene I'm referring to) featuring the Indominus Rex, Zach and Gray T-Rex Escape featuring Ian Malcolm, Alan Grant, Ellie Slater and a T-Rex Caravan (from Jurassic Park 2) featuring Ian Malcolm and Kelly Malcolm Private jet (from Jurassic Park 3) featuring Alan Grant, Paul Kirby and Amanda Kirby- 1,412 replies

Yeah, that would be pretty cool. The minifigures could be the 1st Doctor, 12th Doctor, Barbara, Ian, Susan, Clara and a couple of Daleks therefore making it based on both The Daleks and The Magician's Apprentice/The Witch's Familiar.

LEGO Dimensions Discussion
LEGODalekbuster523 replied to TheBrickPal's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
The Brigadier portrait on the wall makes me hopeful we'll get a Brigadier NFC minifigure at some point. Also: from what I've watched (because I don't have the game yet), it looks like the Doctor Who level pack well and truly proves the show is perfect for the LEGO treatment. I've been saying all along that Doctor Who and LEGO makes so much sense and when you see the two things merge, it just fits. The actors fit seamlessly with what you expect from LEGO voice actors, the quirky nature fits in seamlessly with LEGO's brand of humour, Missy seems like she's always been there in LEGO form.... I don't think there's any other franchise that fits LEGO more than Doctor Who does.
