Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures...
LEGODalekbuster523 replied to The Kid's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Yeah, it was brilliant. Just a shame A: Zygella turned good and B: 12's climatic speech was too long. -
I just hope we get the Dimensions version in either a Dimensions fun pack or a set as (from brief clips I've seen of the level pack) his minifigure looks perfect.

Ghostbusters (Reboot) 2016 sets rumors and discussion
LEGODalekbuster523 replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
The poster specified 'reboot version', suggesting it would have been fine for the Ideas Ecto-1 as opposed to the price it was (£44). -

Only thing is: what could you have in Spring? Maybe the bus from Planet of the Dead and Tritovores? Summer would be hard too. Autumn could have some Water of Mars characters appear (Gadget maybe). -

It would be great if they update the Adventure World seasonally, so in Winter you get a snow-capped 21st Century London with Pilot Fish and Killer Christmas Trees and Trenzalore as the village planet before it became a graveyard. -

I couldn't care less how they look together personally, I just want what would best suit each characters' personality. If Captain Hook looks odd next to Cruella De Ville, then just do a LEGO Dimensions like I do and mix and match franchises.- 4,155 replies

I'm guessing you're A: being sarcastic and B: Not a fan of the reboot even though it hasn't come out yet for anyone to form an opinion. -

2016 Lego Games prediction
LEGODalekbuster523 replied to Savage Oppress's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
Whilst I do think Ghostbusters next year seems pretty likely now, I still reckon we'll get a LEGO Doctor Who game first. Probably a Doctor Who game released around June, Ghostbusters to tie in with the reboot being released on DVD/Bluray so as not to impact the Dimensions set and (say hypothetically the Ghostbusters game comes out December) LEGO Star Wars September. -
Ghostbusters (Reboot) 2016 sets rumors and discussion
LEGODalekbuster523 replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
It probably makes the Ghostbusters videogame someone speculated about earlier more likely also, perhaps released to tie in with the reboot's DVD/Bluray release so it doesn't impact the Dimensions level pack. They usually cover three movies. I wonder if next year we might see LEGO Doctor Who, Ghostbusters and Star Wars games? -

I think they should have released the trailer on Halloween. Missed out on an ideal opportunity there. -
Ghostbusters 2016 Reboot discussion
LEGODalekbuster523 replied to Kaanere's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I think it could be fun if there's either a sense of ambiguity over who Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson's characters are (IE: not named on-screen) or in a surprise twist they turn out to be Peter Venkman, Ray Stantz and Winston Zeddemore. Certainly have nothing against the female cast; think it could offer a fresh perspective on the Ghostbusters brand.- 248 replies

Considering that it's part of the same Ghostbusters brand under the original Ghostbusters films, would we really be getting an original Ghostbusters HQ set if rights to anything Ghostbusters-related like the reboot conflicted with Mattel? -

Review - 71231 Unikitty Fun pack for LEGO Dimensions
LEGODalekbuster523 replied to KlodsBrik's topic in LEGO Licensed
My problem with Unikitty is whilst she works well in The LEGO Movie as a fun character, as a minifigure she just looks too 'girly'. Think I'll probably pass on this. -

I wouldn't imagine Catrin Stewart would be hard to get considering they've got blockbuster actors such as Chris Pratt and Gary Oldman voicing characters in the game. If Jenny's not included, then it's probably because she's not as memorable as the other members of the Paternoster Gang.
