  1. I think the Genie and Captain Hook definitely need new moulds; Hook has a distinctive nose and therefore would look odd with a standard head and the Genie's look could never be accurately captured with no new moulds. Also: I hope they don't do something like the Panda Suit for Mickey as some have suggested; that would look awful. Mickey needs a new head mould to look convincing.
  2. If we get Captain Hook and Genie, I hope they have molded heads because I think they'd need them. But the others don't really matter (apart from Ursula, who will just look weird with a standard minifigure head - a daft decision by LEGO IMO).
  3. Agreed. I wish there was a tutorial explaining how hacking stuff works with the toy pad. It confused me at first when I couldn't get to one of the red buttons because there was no path until I realised the pad was lighting up the colours of the missing pathways.
  4. Good shout. There will be three Ghostbusters movies next year to base a game on.
  5. Considering the likely expense of licenses such as Doctor Who and The Simpsons, I'd be very surprised if they don't release more packs based on those franchises. Unless they're on a mission to **** off their own fanbase, of course.
  6. Calling it: LEGO Doctor Who - The Videogame and LEGO The Simpsons - Greatest Hits.
  7. Given the massive success of the Ideas and Dimensions level pack sets, I'll be very surprised if there's no more LEGO Doctor Who. At the very least, I'd expect Clara Oswald and Missy fun packs.
  8. Why do they have yellow hands? If these minifigures aren't flesh-coloured, then I'm afraid to say this series won't appeal to me.
  9. I don't think it's right at all that people have been buying two Ideas sets. Think of all the young kids you may have disadvantaged who wanted the set for Christmas but didn't receive it because places sold out. Is it really worth upsetting children just so you can have one with the TARDIS attached to the interior and another just the TARDIS exterior? I'm glad LEGO eventually started limiting people to one set. I think every retailer should follow suit with hugely popular sets.
  10. I would have a strong word with your family and friends for letting you buy packs only to realise they're useless because they haven't bought you the starter pack and throw a massive strop until they cave in and buy it themselves. No, kidding! In seriousness, I would probably check the boxing day sales and if there's no good deals then wait for the January ones. I doubt it'll come down in price over time because of the technology in the set but it's possible shops may reduce it as part of the traditional sales periods around Christmas. If not, then I would buy the starter pack. I think some places sell it at around £74 anyway though.
  11. I completely disagree. I think Simpsons will continue in some form anyway (likely too popular for it not to and if it isn't making LEGO enough money it's because they make the sets too big) and regardless it has had five sets and two CMF series (more than enough to justify a game). Plus there's lots of scope for a game; plenty of classic episodes like Marge VS The Monorail and Homer The Great (Stonecutters episode) and lots of potential characters to play as. As for Doctor Who, that's the one game Traveller's Tales have always wanted to make and they're not going to pass up the perfect opportunity to work on it given the show has now had two sets with a third due to come out to justify a LEGO game. And as with Simpsons, there's plenty of scope. Even MORE scope. I could see a LEGO Doctor Who videogame coming out next year with an original storyline featuring every Doctor, a few companions, the Daleks, Cybermen and Missy/The Master. It's certainly not 'niche', it's a worldwide phenomenon and rightly so.
  12. Nope, but I thought I'd lost one of those see-through blue two-stud bricks. Turns out I'd put one in the wrong place - it was supposed to be a clear one where you can't see the studs on-top.
  13. It must be for something else. They wouldn't have a code on current polybags for a game that hasn't been announced. No, I still think we'll get Doctor Who and Simpsons LEGO games next year.
  14. Yeah, the Chris Pratt impersonator sounds absolutely nothing like Chris Pratt. Shame they couldn't have got Chris Pratt to record lines for it at the same time he recorded lines for LEGO Dimensions; Emmet's voice is so distinctive that you kind of need the original voice for it to work.
  15. It looks pretty good, although I think it would work better as a Dimensions mini-build.
  16. What if this turns out to be something else...like, say, the rumoured Doctor Who CMF series?
  17. I think it's brilliant the teaser does exactly what a teaser should do and teases the content as opposed to giving it away. Not a lot in there yet still induces a feeling of excitement. This is EXACTLY how to do a teaser trailer!
  18. But he'll be fine as long as he doesn't Blink and miss any of the action!
  19. That's amazing! Just makes me wish this was a thing.
  20. Thanks, that makes sense. When I saw it in the Ghostbusters Ecto-1 set ages ago, I thought it was actually a LEGO piece part of the overall look and couldn't work out why it never came up in the instructions!
  21. Let's hope he's not hell bent at any of us when he completes his journey!
  22. Nice review, although I don't get the point of the orange piece you mentioned (I assume you mean this one: http://i.stack.imgur.com/Z4vMP.jpg ?). It was included in the Ecto-1 set too but I didn't find any purpose for using it.
  23. Good for fans of Teen Titans Go and Adventure Time but I just hope they don't end up replacing any of the franchises already in the game. I don't want to see them replace Doctor Who or The Simpsons when there's plenty of scope yet as to what characters could be made into NFC minifigures.
