  1. Your curse does not seem to affect this one. We don't have a space-related minifig yet and this makes me sad!
  2. Killer corn looks great. I won't show it to my kids or they won't eat corn for a week. Not sure if I am going to buy multiple minifigs for S17... it's really expensive now.
  3. The pass few days are intense. We're omly half way through the elimination rounds.
  4. Those are great illustrations. I really want the most common domestic animals to have costumes -- Cat and Dog suits!
  5. Oohhh no. The Gladiator is leading now.... Why did you vote Fly Monster?!
  6. Too many army-building minifigures already... so I voted for the Fly too!
  7. I thought at the minimum it should last at least 3 years?
  8. So from what I can tell on the latest picture of Bossk, he does have a Cool Yellow (Bright Light Yellow) torso and legs. The skin tone is confirmed Olive Green. I don't know if the jumpsuit colour is more accurate because from the film it looks like dirty yellow. I personally think the colour is closer to Light Yellow but this colour was last used in LEGO sets in 2005. There is also a noticeable pupil catchlight on Bossk eyes (it's just a tiny little white dot added) which is absent from the original Bossk minifig.
  9. Great review. The use of the ball joints really helps achieve the shape in front. Did the manual mention anything about the pilots or those are really just generic Hoth pilots?
  10. This is the last season???
  11. teaser... trailer
  12. I'm with you here. I like the Spartan... but the floater is one of coolest accessory a minifigure can get.
  13. I used to watch local Wushu competition and they have different names for different weapons. For your reference: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eighteen_Arms_of_Wushu Dao is just a sword (literal translation) but it's inferred as a single-edge sword because a double edge sword is commonly called jian. Ok, someone who is natively Chinese should be able to explain this further but let's not get off-topic. :)
  14. Dao is not just any sword or knife... it's what you will call a generic single-edged chinese sword. Maybe WB did this to sell the movie in China because China needs some "cultural impact" in the movie so that it can be shown locally. Then, as a result it carries forward to the actual set design. It's only my speculation as it could be designed by the LEGO designers first then carried forward to the movie. However, I really think the movie needs to sell well in China so the swords have these chinese characteristics. Just look at the number of Japanese sword designs available. The designers have not exhausted all these yet so choosing a chinese design is very odd-- Hope that we get a better view of the sets soon.
  15. So retailers can put them on the shelves as early as they can?
