    And getting Deadshot, who until very recently, had less exposure than Man-Bat. I wasn't aware we may be getting another set? When was this mentioned?

    I just listened to Max Landis' "Death and Return of Superman", which while flawed, is an amazingly entertaining video that I highly recommend if you are a fan of Superman or comics in general. Link: But it got me thinking how much potential Superman has for LEGO. I mean a big part of his story focused on a Doomsday battle, and sure it was awesome and we have all probably thought of that and put it on our wishlists at some point. But he really intrigued me with the way he spoke of the Fortress of Solitude, and even the Phantom Zone. He brought up characters I previously didn't have any interest in like Cyborg Superman or even Blue Beetle and his flight thing (I think it's called the bug?). Obviously the Daily Planet would be cool as well but another thing I'd love to see (Which again, I had no interest in before hearing Max's story) would be the Kent Farm. I don't know, I found it really interesting the way he gave life to certain places I was like wow. I want to build that in LEGO, I want to draw them and visit them and ughhh. And as a writer again I have to recommend the actual story, because it was a really well done take on the character so check it out.

    Yes. You could have also swapped around some bricks on the Batboat to make it look as you wanted it to. LEGO however designed the set with the canister facing left. It's how it is in the instructions, mini comic etc. etc. They have to advertise their product the way they built it and with that said, they chose to put his gun in his left hand to make it look more attractive. I get the feeling you may have something against left-handers because considering also Batman is shown right handed on the box, it seems like a real weird thing to point out

    If we aren't getting Sully I wouldn't want a Mike. Maybe a Boo, but not one half of a duo. It's like Scooby without Shaggy or Chip without Dale, yeah it would be cool to have one. But without the other it's like ehhh... And I agree that minifigures have to be compatible with the traditional 3 minifigure pieces. Although saying that, I'd still prefer characters like Sully or Genie or Baymax etc. to be bigger than the average minifig, even if that means forever waiting for sets that most likely won't happen. How they do it I don't care, big-fig, sculpted brick, those nexo-knight body thingo, whatever. So long as they look like they could actually be that character and not scaled down knock-offs.

    No way haha, Batgirl in that set was based off of the new 52. The colors and lines/ seams etc. are very different to the classic Batgirl seen in the show. Edit: sorry those photos are so huge, would a mod or anybody capable be able to edit and resize them if possible? If not delete them I guess..

    He has built up serious popularity recently, with cartoons and now he looks like the main villain in CW's LoT. Although if we get him before a Reverse Flash or Red Hood, I'll be upset. Doubt we'll see a staff of horis as that was made for the show I'm pretty sure. Also 2017 having Justice League and Wonder Woman coming out... idk about that either.     The canister on Freeze's gun would have blocked his chest and that wouldn't look as good, Aquaman was most likely coincidence. Just looks better for the poses they're in. Batman is actually shown to be right handed in both the front and back? Probably the most underrated DC Superheroes/ Batman set though. One of my personal favourites, still.

    I've noticed LEGO in US especially doesn't equal what it should here in AUS (e.g. $20 sets like the Green Lantern set should be $28ish. Those sets are always priced $40+ here. The $10 US sets like the Iron Man drone set is $20 here instead of $14ish. etc.). We do end up paying more than you guys regardless. And what I meant by"no matter the value" was if a woman on the street asked you for $1. That's $1. The value maybe more in some places but he is still asking for the one dollar. If a woman asked for $300 again the value would vary depending on where you are but that is still 300x that 1 dollar. Most people don't tend to think of value but rather the quantity of what they have. If in some weird universe where all currencies where accepted anywhere the same woman asked you for one dollar you wouldn't go "Ahhh I only have USD on me, is 75 cents alright?". You would give her one wether you had AUD or USD, because he asked for one dollar. When I pay for something I don't go "Oh America has a stronger dollar so it averages out" or whatever. No, I think of how I will have x amount less than I did. And you are right I didn't fact check those prices and was way off, but now I think on it 270ish there is about 380ish here. Plus whatever that extra bit LEGO makes us pay it will be beyond expensive, and it sucks. Hard. Which was basically what I was trying to say in my post haha. Sorry for the confusion.

    I'm real bummed out because 250-270 US will be maybe 300-350 here in AUS (judging by the Helicarrier and other sets around those marks), which really is ridiculous. I know the currencies are worth different amounts but 1 is 1, no matter the value. So 300+ is 300+, again no matter the value.

    I can 110% confirm that Deadshot has no grin. Just the way those metal plates were printed. Can't remember where I saw the photos, but there were real close photos floating of him and Harley maybe a week or so ago. Probably were linked on here, if not it was on Reddit...

    In my opinion I wouldn't be too keen on Kraven appearing this year anyway. He is heavily rumoured to be the villain in the 2017 Spider-man film and considering it will be a MCU film I bet there will be at least one set for the movie, with him as the villain. While it isn't confirmed, and heck we may not even get sets for the film anyway, I'm still hoping we get different characters this year and see what happens 2017. If we get to 2017 and still no Kraven thats a problem we can face then. But as of now, I don't want a Kraven, only to have another pop up the next year taking up spots other characters could.

    Not a knock on your opinion, I am genuinely curious: What were you wanting? I am beyond happy we got this version although something similar to Arkham City or Gotham Knight would have been cool too.. I'm really hoping for a Red Hood in this Scarecrow set.. it would go well considering.. Although that is more of a wishlist/ speculation comment, I think it's an interesting something to consider. And also a lot more likely than Ventriloquist or Red Robin, Calendar Man etc. Also the Mighty Micros really surprised me. I hated the concept. Hated the idea of them taking up proper set slots. Hated the mini-legs discussion. I didn't even like the prelims we got. But looking at them now and seeing the variants in torsos especially (but also Bane's mask is a must get), I'm seriously considering picking them all up.

    Each to their own. I would love them to be playable as much as anyone else, like you said to complete the family, but I can see why they aren't included... I mean this is a game that has Batman, Marty McFly and the Doctor. Most wouldn't going to pick Marge and her vacuum over proper interesting characters. No confirmation obviously, but I wouldn't hold my breath. It's sad I was really enjoying this theme. WOAH SORRY.     Not at all. If i had to put money in him appearing in one it would be the Scarecrow's harvest one. Although in The Long Halloween and maybe even in Dark Victory if i can remember Grundy took solace in the sewers... although to be real i don't see him being included at all. But i guess time will tell huh?

    I literally just asked for gwen in another forum. This bridge set would be perfect way to include her and i would be pretty let down if she isn't there. Also hoping for a Ock similar to the one from 2014 only without the coat. They hit the nail on the head with the concept of that figure but the coat always looked off to me. But thats just me. Very excited for this year. What a good time to be a geek!

    Mysterio is my personal favorite Spider-man villain and it would kick so much megablocks (EDIT: well played Eurobricks. Well played.) to see him included there!! Plus a update for Peter, Aunt May, heck maybe even a Gwen or Betty would be good.

    Except for the big they are boring argument, gender doesn't play a factor in it at all, it's just the way the characters were written. Like somebody said above when it comes to the main characters Homer and Bart are the most popular, whereas Marge, while a great character, isn't going to offer an as exciting gameplay/ story elements etc. because she doesn't have much to offer in excitement. Same could be said with with Lisa, who of late hasn't been a popular character among fans anyway. Krusty just offers something unique and more fun. Again just to add something fun. I totally agree it was disappointing not to hear Bart especially, but i am happy to have him silent and in the game rather than not in the game at all.

    i think BrickFit26 meant no tv show type cartoon characters, gargoyles, kim possible, phineas and ferb etc. goofy and donald seem quite likely just on account of them being staple Disney characters.

    If that figure ends up being real and is included with the set i will be disappointed. sure a new batman is better than one we already have but like, why do they feel the need to milk The Dark Knight Trilogy to the bone. The first tumbler and DK batman wave in 2008 was cool, the dark knight sdcc exlusive was also a nice little thingo, same with the bane set in 2013, the tumbler was a great collectors piece but felt funny seeing as they had announced the newer film series by then, but again, it was welcomed. but at this point to put a film batman, that now with batfleck, is outdated in a comic book set containing villains from suicide squad (another reason to have batfleck) instead of a comic book based batman just is like the point where is getting irritating (to me at least). with respect, in my opinion the DK franchise wasn't batman but more an individual film series using different characters with the same name, but thats just coming from a comic fan. doesn't mean i didn't think they were good. just wasn't batman in my opinion. so putting him into this comic book/ suicide squad movie related themed set gets under my skin. but hey whatever. we all know i'm going to buy it anyway

    it isn't as prominent as it once was or will be when Toy Story comes out. Whether you agree or disagree it's irrelevant to the reality that it doesn't have more of a chance to any other Pixar films at this time for the reasons I've already stated. All characters are on a level playing field when it comes to be chosen for a minifigure series 6 years after the last Toy Story and 3-4 years (I think) until the next one. I would argue Cinderella is the most iconic Disney Princess, she already has sets, and will most likely have more chances in future... but her popularity or current LEGO status wouldn't affect the outcome for next years CMF series. If she is there she is there. Same with Toy Story. Again just saying, I think it's just unfair and unreasonable to say one property or characters have more of a chance over another when we practically know next to nothing about this series so far and that speculation and or wishes belong in that (/those?) threads. And I stumbled across your fan fiction about a month ago trying to read up on Doctor Who before the newer episodes came out here. I was like "I recognise that name from somewhere...." Every post had a link to your Facebook, may want to change that if you are going for incognito ninja like uploads
