Location: B06 Sorn Tags: Spaceship, Land Vehicle, Spying - The above build is reused and should not be judged. General: How did you like the new ship. Hawk: The ship was excellent. It was just great to get back in the pilot seat for a change. It's seems like all I do is spy missions anymore. Even going on patrol is better then spy missions any day. But enough about me, what brings you here general? General: It's your next mission. Hawk: You came to give me another patrol run? General: No. We have detected an anomaly near a small chain of islands. It is hundreds of miles from any known Kawashita base so we wanted someone to check it out. Hawk: Do you want me to take pictures from orbit then. General: No. We need some eyes on the ground so we wanted to send our best spy to scout it out b.. Hawk: Thanks general but I'm not much of a sp..... General: but he was busy so we decided to send you in his place. Hawk: Oh. Short while later..... - Hawk: I think I found the source of the energy readings general. I don't know how this got past our ships. General: What is it? - Hawk: It looks like a standard freighter. Might be Kawashita in origin but I see no markings. There also seems to be no activity around the ship. General: We are analyzing its profile now. Hawk: The ship looks like it has 3 Macro cannon batteries. Seems a little excessive for a freighter. General: Can you get a closer look? Hawk: I've got a bad feeling about this ship. General: Nonsense. It will be perfectly safe. We would have never complained about a mission like that back on Ice Planet. - Hawk: Wait I think I see something moving. Look like some sort of shuttle. They are heading my direction. I think they know I'm here. General: Nonsense. you have some of the best stealth tech in MANTIS. Our analysis of the ship is complete. Well this is intersting. Hawk: What is it? General:Hawk you need to abort the mission immediately! Get a safe distance and wait for reinforcements! The ship is know as the Tyrant. It was last captained by........ Hawk: To late gen..al. The. .re fa.. . I ....nk .he. g.. ..skkkkkkk. General: Get me HR. We have lost contact with Hawk. Thanks for the comments guys. The whole hangar was based around the cement mixer part. When I found them in my parts pile, I knew I had to use them in some way.

I had 260 credits. SpacerSteve transferred me 230 credits, Big Sal transferred me 110 credits and I think I am waiting on 100 credits from the challenge. 260+230+110+100=700. Let me know if my math is off somewhere . I don't know how I ended up with 470 credits. I don't see any transfers to me in the timeline?

You don't build spaceships very often. It turned out great. I like the unique wing design but it's still very recognizable as a TIE fighter.

I love the part about it getting terrible reviews.

Location: B06, Sorn Tags: Military Building, Spaceship, Land vehicle With reports of unknown alien fleets coming from MANTIS ship captains a few sectors away, MANTIS had increased the number of patrol flights around Sorn. After taking some time to relax at his home on Torresta, Hawk had been assigned to Sorn to help protect MANTIS assets on the planet from possible alien attacks. - Hawk had been assigned a Alpha wing intercepter, one of MANTIS's best star fighters in the fleets armory. It is highly swooshable and heavily armed for a ship it's size. - - With his ship refueled and reloaded, Hawk prepares to launch. More pictures under the spoiler tag. Thanks for looking. I would like to purchase a Metal Eater. I would also like to purchase a Liquifactor Core when I get my prize credits from the challenge.

The trike is really cool. The green tusks give it a nice shape on the nose. The helix tree is a nice touch too.

Thanks guys, glad you liked it. Thanks judges. Thanks everyone. I'm glad the gritty nature was noticeable because that is what I was aiming for. Octan and Kawashita can keep their shiny cities. I tried to base this off of cities you would see today but give it more of a sci-fi, claustrophobic over populated feel as well. I wanted to make the city have more levels to it too, like walkways between building, but I was starting to run out of parts.

The build reminds me of the Capital building but way cooler! The landing pad on the back of the Rosenhaus is my favorite part.

Location: C03, Torresta On his way to a mission on the opposite side of Andromeda, Hawk thought he would stop by his home on Torresta for a quick rest. - It was a fairly average home, but it's best feature was it's location on the shores of one of Torresta's famous Great Lava Lakes. - Only if he could find something to wear that wasn't a stealth suit. - Time to watch a Movie on the holo screen. He noticed his plant giving him an angry look. Sentient Plant creatures were popular with MANTIS employees, but he wasn't sure his liked him very much. - - Thanks for looking. C&C welcomed

I really like the station. I had no idea that those pieces you used for window frames could do that. I thought all they were good for was the old dome canopy pieces.

Location: C03 Torresta, Haven Settlement Haven is a city that has sprung up recently and on the surface of Torresta. Haven was named due to the fact that the ground it was built on was relatively stable compared to the rest of Torresta's volcanic surface. This made it a great location for a large star port and it frequently sees visitors from the Milky Way galaxy wishing to trade with MANTIS. - - - Not everyone follows the traffic laws. - Haven has a high speed monorail connecting it with the MANTIS capital city, the Core. - Small pod cars can frequently be seen flying over head. - No city is without it's problems though. Even though MANTIS has strict customs enforcement in the star port, the sales of the illegal "space dust" are still all to frequent. Here are a few more angles of the city unpopulated - - And a shot of all the vehicles and monorail car - Thanks for looking. I have wanted to try and build a futuristic city and had fun with this. I really like all the race ships in this. My favorite is the octan one with the cannons as engines and the shape around the cockpit.

Cool training facility. I was wondering how long it would take before someone used Disney mini figs in their build.

Those tan technic pins work well as grass.

That ship is beautiful. Did it start out as an arc 170 moc? It at least looks like it was inspired by one.
