You can use the "insert media from URL" on the post, or you can just paste the URL into the message and the board will render the image for you. Even though the BBCode still works, it might best to use the non-BBCode method because with the the lack of support for BBCode (essentially deprecated), I would guess that one of the future upgrades will render it unusable all together.

Are you on mobile or desktop? The desktop version works like the old site with the bricks on the left when browsing a forum. When looking at "unread content" listing there is a blue dot to the left if each post which takes you to the first unread post. I'm not sure on mobile a t the moment but it does seem different.

Yeah, it's really strange. I haven't figured out the pattern on when it says Save and when it said Edit Topic. While doing some work in BF&C, it was seemingly random.

Sometimes it does say "Save"

Be sure to double check via preview first. There are times that the new system can create some issues that need to be addressed before saving your post. Extra line breaks and such.
-
I'll see if I can fix your first post for you. Hang tight. Edit: Next time, you just need to grab the URL at YouTube from the browser address bar (not Share) and paste it into the post box here. Don't use any media tags or anything like that. Wait a moment for it to show up and then save.

BBCode is on and works well for any new posts/topics and any older posts that are edited, so if you are impatient for the script to work on refreshing one of your own posts or topics, just click "edit" and then "save" and the code will be rendered correctly once again.
-
This is already known and has been addressed in the post just above yours earlier today. The issue should be resolved in the coming days when the script is finished running. The Admins have said it could take a week for the script to complete the rebuild of old posts.

It is definitely not just for girls. If your son likes the colors and the amusement park theme, then go for it. Some folks (girls and boys) dislike the bright colors of the Friends line. I don't think the figures themselves should cause any concern - your son can always use minifigures in the set if he doesn't like the minidolls. I actually consider the new amusement park theme as a great gender-neutral theme, possibly the first for the Friends line. Though it is obviously marketing to girls with the package design and minidolls, the theme itself is all about fun and the excitement of the carnival rides.

The LEGO Group takes civil actions against LEPIN
Darkdragon replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I wouldn't say one thread is "going wild", but I agree it's not the best thing to be discussing or promoting here. This is the risk they take by selling obvious counterfeit goods, grey market wares, whatever you want to call it. I feel no sympathy for them. -
I think that might be an issue on your end. I haven't seen anything like that all day, including now.

Happy Hobbit Day!- Lego stop motion

Cute film. I like how you handled the non-moving short legs issue in the first walking shot.- 2 replies

Hi Xstarhero. While we do appreciate you sharing your video, publishing a thread soley to get people to your YouTube channel is against the site rules and guideline. Therefore, I have modified your post and topic title so that it follows the guidelines. Folks that want to get to your channel can always do so directly from the video itself anyhow. Don't let the lack of elements deter you, you could always make a scene from paper or cardboard and just animate figures in a story.

Once the Admins are finished with the basic tweaks to get things working as normal (and the scripts are finished running), I will update the Visual User Guide thread with all the new stuff/instructions.

Neither eBay nor Bricklink has monthly fees, they are percentage fees on the items you sell. Either way, you will have PayPal fees on top of that unless you refuse to accept PayPal for payment. eBay would be a lot simpler and quicker for you, most buyers on Bricklink are very leery of purchasing high-value/high-priced sets from a new seller with no feedback and no other items. It could take a long time for your sets to sell there.

I usually put sets in my "save for later" cart and check it daily, if the price is to the point I'm ready to buy then I buy it. Amazon prices can fluctuate throughout the day, but checking every hour really negates a couple dollars savings imho.

Shipping prices on Bricklink
Darkdragon replied to harrypotterstarwarsfan's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Right, that's how I ship them, as small packet first class. Maybe USPS is ripping me off it is possible. That is the price it use to be but lately I haven't been able to ship anywhere outside the USA for under $7. I'll have to see what I can find out next time. -

I love the cottage, I can almost smell the stink of the marsh just looking at the photos. -
Shipping prices on Bricklink
Darkdragon replied to harrypotterstarwarsfan's topic in General LEGO Discussion
You can do a 5 hour drive to pick up parts for less than $13? That's some car you've got there. Minimum shipping (let's call it one minifigure) from the USA to CA is $9.50 according to USPS.com. It is really getting out of hand to ship from the US to any other country, at least via the USPS which has historically been the most economical way. -
Where do you get you hair and torsos pieces from?
Darkdragon replied to der-vogel's topic in General LEGO Discussion
You are doing it wrong if you get that message, that is using the area for getting replacement parts not for buying parts. There are three things to choose from, you want to use the one where you have to actually pay for the parts. Another option is to just call Lego customer service and tell them what you are looking for, they will create an order for you if they have the parts. -
Wow, that building is great! It really takes me back to the good ol' days. It looks wonderful next to the Pet Shop and your interior is perfect too
