Season Three: Year of the Pirates After defeating the Serpentine, Pythor, and the Great Devourer the Ninja have new enemies. They are called The Pirates. The Ninja train Lloyd up to become a Spinjitzu master and unlock his full potential. But since Cole, Kai, Jay, and Zane along with Nya as the Samurai, are too busy fighting and saving the day, Lloyd might not reach his true potential and learn Spinjitzu. Throughout the season Lloyd finds his mother which she is named Nobu. She is a friend of Sensei Wu and she was in the video game on the Ninjago website called "Spinjitzu Smash." The Overlord, the ruler of the Pirates teams up with Garmadon and hatch a plot to steal the Four Golden Weapons of Spinjitzu. At the end, the pirates are defeated and peace returned again and Lloyd learns Spinjitzu, unlocks his true potential, and becomes an NRG ninja to defeat the pirates. Season Four: Return of the Dark Lord Many months of peace returned to Ninjago so Jay and Nya decide to get married. But just as the wedding started, Lord Garmadon returns! While Garmadon has returned, Lloyd has to try and deal with killing his father for real this time. Meanwhile, Sensei Wu claims Nya to be the destined Purple Ninja but Nya declines and tells everyone that she is pregnant with Jay. Since Nya is pregnant, she hands over her Purple Ninja duties to Lloyd’s friend, Finn. With all that disappointment, the worst comes to Nya because she realizes that she too has to quit her Samurai X duties as well. The Ninjas' parents’ homes are destroyed and Lloyd's mother arrives to help. Meanwhile Garmadon hatches another plot to steal the Four Golden Weapons of Spinjitsu which he wants to do in his own image, while Nya was going into labor. At the end, Lloyd and Finn kill Lord Garmadon together, which brings peace to Ninjago again and at that moment, Jay and Nya's twins were born which they named Ed and Edna in honor of Jay's parents On season 3: Pirates is cool. A second boat would be grand.

Son got this one yesterday and we build it together. It was one of the trickier Ninjago builds with some parts. Cool to see him swoosh it through the air. Excellent set. Only minor note is Garmaddon.

Urgh, Cole is the worst of the worse NRG ninja's. What where they thinking. The scythe version is cool though.

Hey, yeah, the release speed is pretty quick given the amount of sets. Almost impossible to have a complete collection without serious debts. haha. Son got his money together and I found a really good deal on Destiny's Bounty. So building time (ah well, helping out with the trick parts)! :)

Not sold on them. But I have to admit that the printing on the current snakes is pretty good. Lasha is a really good example. btw, Lychir, Lance, what do you think about the book pictures I posted a page ago? (per request ;) )

Infobits on ninja's in general (how to be a ninja etc), little quiz about what you read in the book From Aanchir's review the story content is different then the Kai (etc) book he reviewed. US I guess, right?

City is neutral, and even that it is up to the kid themselves. My daughter (7) likes Ninjago & Creator houses but does not want anything from Friends.

Firefox 9 went fine, haven't tried 10 yet. It was annoying that the game did not remember what level was played so every time you logged in you needed to start all over.

@ Seba, we have it from the booster pack. Lyichir, ah sorry. Second language troubles. This is almost correct. or that the legs themselves are different from one-another? Lets try this: the two legs are not the same. There is a left & right. If you attach left on left side and right on right the gap between the feet is small If you attach left to right side and left to right side the gap between the feet is smaller. Heh, we had major succes with Wyplash his golden weapon (the double chains). Lloyd's big staff (with the plant bits) has an insane reach by the way.

With the skeleton legs on spinners: there is difference on how to attach them, the legs have small, less then 1mm outward on the feet part. Anywhoo, I have experienced no unbalanced battles with skeletons vs ninja's. Especially Wyplash is hard to beat. Lloyd is impossible to beat with his short leg (does anyone else's Lloyd also have a 'loose' hood?).

Hi Aanchir (& brother), thanks for the answer. :) Pretty wrong. If you read some more you will notice that I really really like the first Ninjago waves vs the skeletons very much. The four dragons are like some of the best things LEGO ever did. The Fire Temple, Skull Truck, Dojo, etc are all great. If you read even further you would notice I do like the spinning game to play with my son. And that I am not the biggest snake theme fan isn't a secret either , but I really do like the Destiny's Bounty. And even had to admit Kai's bike is a cool build. So... good? ;)

Hi Aanchir, I just noticed, has there ever been a point you really disliked something about Ninjago or other line because in all posts I read from you it is positive. Just noticing. ;) because I can not phantom how daeom red-yellow eyed Cole looks stylish...

Holy frell! The NRG versions are UGLY! The painting on the suits is subpar. The faces are the HORROR! Can we write a complaint to LEGO about them?

The bike looks decent enough for battling Kai's bike & Chopov's bike. The mech looks better then in the old pictures. The epic dragon looks everything besides epic, it just is not good. Pity the snake is not sold seperatelly. NRG Zane is kinda weird with his colour. And lol, the card in his package has his image but the name of Lloyd ZX NRG Cole, the scythe has merit but a new mold like the cartoon would be cooler.

Hi, old spinners without crown can still beat new spinners with crown. Challenge cards...are...daft.

Invisible Frodo would be a minifig to want for LEGO. So I indeed expect them to pursue the path of transparent minifigs.

... I mean... frell ... what are all the rice hats doing there? The back leg is one of those things what I consider an ugly mesh of bricks. Sidenote: only two heads shoot a ball.
