You dont even need to find a replacement for the bucket as this set also works with a breaker, which seems to be buildable from available parts.

If you replace the single hub with the blue tooth smart hub, yes. I did the PU Conversion for this set.

Thanks for the compliment! This model is intended to be a faithful replica of the 42043, so I put as many functions and details of the original one into this creation as possible. You cna see there are also wheel chocks and trailer hitch.

Given that this is my best selling creation so far, it's not right to not design proper function sheets for it, yet I kept procrastinating. Today I finally get it done with. I also render a shot of the cabin to show the bed and the overhead shelf.

Mini 42215, anyone interested?

With PF Conversions, control+ sets are also immortal and very fun.

According to the blueprint a mini Skyline should have a width of 19 studs, and that's more than enough to put AWD. Just look at the image right above my most recent post That thing is only 17 studs wide.

I'm not really into doing mini replicas for cars, but the Nissan Skyline looks fun to do. It's also convenient that there is already small mudguard in LBG. Also a mini replica would go better with the Toyota Supra. Maybe I'll do a mini replica for the Dodge as well.

Also since tractor tires are finally available in 3 sizes, there can be a monster truck contest in which entries have to use tractor tires.

Thanks a lot! I spent quite a lot of time on that to make sure it is as closest as possible to the real thing. Thank you! I don't really know the scale as I don't really calculate them. I just put a blueprint into Sariel's scaling tool and scale the top sprocket around 3 studs.

It is only convenient that I have 4 big sprockets and a bunch of black track links as spares. I think I'm just gonna gather the parts for this and build the version with the breaker.

Then there's even less reason to buy this thing as a full set.

Could this become the case in which the costs of buying the individual parts end up cheaper than that of buying the whole set? The only new parts in this set are the rechargeable battery, the 45 degree tapered 3x3 piece, and the bucket. The first part can be skipped if you buy a simple hub. And since this excavator works with a breaker, it's totally playable without the bucket. The only new recolor are the XL LAs in black, which can totally be replaced with the normal XL LAs in LBG, and the turquoise seat, which can also be replaced with any color. In the end the only new part that is kinda required to build this thing is the 45 degree tapered 3x3 piece, which I imagine should be cheap enough when it's available on Bricklink. If it's not then the old 3x3 biscuit liftarm can be substituted with no significant harm to appearance.
