A Technic October wave has been done before so it might be possible. In 2021, 42128 and 42129 were released in August, while 42126 and 42131 were in October.

Unless there are unrevealed sets, like for the October wave, this is a very bad lineup for old-school gearheads like me...

You forgot the duplicate small motorbike and the duplicate Jeep Wrangler...

TLG really runs out of vehicles to make does it....

I'd say let's just drop the piece count requirement altogether. Use weight/size requirement instead.

Hi everyone, this is a theme that beats the other theme in the latter's functional game from RacingBrick

Contest Idea for the summer: Make Technic Great Again! City sets have improved in terms of Technic-based functions while Technic sets seem to stagnate, so why not reclaim the old Technic spirit with a contests about 9 stud wide models + 55982 rims + 58090 tire? That is the scale of 42167 Mack LR. Those dimensions are the closest Technic sets can be to be comparable to City sets while still allow decent space for some functions. This scale is also very fun and challenging to work with. I know it's possible because I made one or two in that scale. Also, there haven't been many official sets on that scale, so there are ample rooms to explore.

The problem with this requirement is you can't really check the models to see if they comply.

That makes it even better for a small sized contest. How about combining the polybag idea with the technic base idea. Since the models are poly bag sized maybe the bounding area can be just a 15x11 or 7x11 frame.

Next thing you know TLC will release the same combo of tires (49.2 car tread, 49.2 tractor tread, 49.2 offroad tread, 55 car tread, 55 tractor tread, 55 offroad tread) for the thin rims, I call it.

I've always wanted to do a mini 42212 but dont wanna use the studded mixer drum, while the 42212 drum is too big. Finally a small technic mixer drum for me!!
