From promobricks.de: Not too much is currently known to us about the 42136 set. In terms of price, the set will probably be 29.99 euros , we do not have a number of parts at the moment. We suspect that a John Deere 9R with a yellow tipping trailer could be hidden behind the set , but we are not quite sure yet. Set number: 42136 Designation: John Deere 9R Number of parts :? Release date: January 01, 2022? RRP: 29.99 euros

From promobricks.de: Apparently, this year's monster trucks with pull-back motors also sold very well. the third of the small series appears with the Monster Jam Megalodon . Of course, the LEGO model also has the light blue shark as a structure. There are a number of sharp teeth above the wheels. The model is again equipped with a pull-back motor. The set costs 19.99 euros and consists of 260 parts. Set number: 42134 Name: Monster Jam Megalodon Number of parts: 260 Release date: January 01, 2022 RRP: 19.99 euros As a counterpart to the Megalodon, LEGO will be offering the Monster Jam El Toro Loco next year. In terms of design, this truck is a bit more boring. It's orange and has two huge horns on the roof of the car. The model is again equipped with a pull-back motor. The set also costs 19.99 euros, but consists of 247 parts. Set number: 42135 Name: Monster Jam El Toro Loco Number of parts: 247 Release date: January 01, 2022 RRP: 19.99 euros

From promobricks.de: All Formula 1 fans can look forward to a new car in March. This consists of 1431 parts and should cost 179.99 euros. It is not yet known which racing team the car comes from. It seems most likely to us that LEGO will enter into a partnership with the current all-time favorite Mercedes or the no less legendary Ferrari. Due to the release date, however, it should be certain that the bolide will be based on the design of the coming 2022 season. Set number: 42141 Number of parts: 1431 Release date: March 01, 2022 Recommended age: 18+ RRP: 179.99 euros

From promobricks.de: This vehicle could best be described as a driver's seat with two huge chains on the left and right. Red rubber studs are attached to the black chains, which are apparently new. The transformation vehicle is generally in white and black with red accents. You can control the vehicle via Control +, as the name suggests, it can also be transformed in a certain way. The set consists of 772 parts and costs 129.99 euros. Set number: 42140 Name: App-controlled transformation vehicle Number of parts: 772 Release date: March 01, 2022 RRP: 129.99 euros

From promobricks.de: For € 49.99 you can get a 422-part Formula E Porsche in January. In terms of color, the model comes very close to the prototype with a white-black basic color and a red wing. The details, straight the nose and the upward sloping halo, are probably less well taken. Apparently this model is also equipped with a pull-back motor. Set number: 42137 Name: Formula E Porsche 99X Electric Number of parts: 422 Release date: January 01, 2022 RRP: 49.99 euros

The machine is white and has a wild pattern of blue and red accents. The set consists of 1922 parts and will cost 199.99 euros. Technic General Discussion

I observe that: - In 2016 and 2017, there are 5 sets that use the M motor. They are 42052, 42054, 42065 (this pne uses 2 M motors), 42066, 42070. After that the M motor no longer appeared in any set. So to me that looks like a way clear out as many M motors as possible. - In 2016 and 2017, there are 2 sets that use the XL motor. They are 42055 and 42070.That may be a way to clear out XL motors. - In 2018 and 2019, there are 3 sets that use the L motor. They are 42080, 42082, and 42095. That may be a way to clear out L motors. Then how did TLG clear out Servo motors, I wonder. Did TLG just dump them all into a hydraulic press? -
One unusual thing about 2022 1H is that it seems very crowded with sets of higher price points. There are - $199.99 42130 18+ - $99.99 42127 Batmobile - $129.99 42140 with C+ - $179.99 42141 another 18+ If the next supercar is released in June 2022 like the previous three, there may be some sales cannibalism.

I got my paws on the 42124 with no electronics earlier this week and tested out the L motor steer. I learned the hard way that the L motor doesn't steer very well. It can steer while the front wheels are rolling, but can't steer when the model is standing still. The direct output from the motor doesn't have enough torque to overcome the weight and friction of the wheels.

I don't think there's gonna be a 42125 clone in 2022, because there's supposed to be a premium 1:8 car later in June. This is also why I find the second list not as believable as the first one. The last set in the first list is 42140 - TBD Control +, $129.99, 398 pcs, which is consistent with a 42109 clone and its appearance in 2020.
