  5. Hi everyone, this is a Space module matching test from RacingBrick
  6. I can't really visualize this, can you show a mockup please? Also, the manual input is just a switch that goes left or right or neutral. It's not a rotational input.
  7. I'm exploring a second type of PF conversion for C+ sets. This version uses traditional gearboxes to drive functions. Given that most C+ sets include drive and steer only, this approach only works for 3 sets: 42100, 42131, and 42146. I'm working on 42131 at the moment. I ripped out the rear blade and managed to put the 4 bidirectional gearboxes into the rear area. One of them will do the driving. In the current setup, the motors are hooked to the differential, so, the tracks can only drive forward and backward. Since there's some space left, I wanna add a subtractor that uses a manual switch to allow the model to drive left and right as well. The problem is that I don't really get how subtractors work, and all models I found online use two motorized input, while what I have is one motorized input and one manual input. Any suggestions?
  8. No mention of 42184 Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut White Hypercar - 801 pcs - $49.99 That probably means this set is delayed til next year, sadly. I want the micro panels in white.
  9. I know a recent truck MOC that has twin tires on rear axles
  10. I'd gladly take 3 locking diffs over 1 unusable gearbox.
  11. Aircrafts are a trick thing because 9 module wide helicopters make sense but 9 module wide airplanes don't. And if you limit 9 module to the fuselage of the airplane only then the airplane will get big though. 9 module wide fuselage is the scale of the cargo plane 42025.
  12. I'd say we leave the 49mm tyre for a major contest, as more can be done within that scale.
  13. Trial Truck for the 9 module width, why not!
  14. This scale will also save people the time collecting parts because they can just grab a 42167 in the store and start building.
  15. Models with that tyre will need to be 13 or 15 width long to look proportional, and I think designing that will need more than 5 weeks. While for 9 width truck things are more compact.
  16. Don't you know I have a knack for mini models
  17. Build a truck within a 9 module width scale. Something like the 42167.
  18. Another one for the mini collection: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-177315/nguyengiangoc/mini-42069-extreme-adventure

  20. If it's true, a lockable front axle is worth looking forward to. The most recent implementation of that function is in the rear axle of the Zetros, and it takes quite a lot of space to achieve.
  21. In terms of functions, what can this thing have to make it different from the Land Rover? Lately I'm quite done with static models with gearboxes for drive trains.
