  1. Sorry I didnt mean to show off. You mentioned the possibility of using thin cylinders for lift, so I was thinking that you can use some of the techniques I used in my reach stacker which also used thin cylinders for lift. I already deleted my inappropriate post.
  2. I bought the first 3 supercars and I didn't buy the Ferrari. I thought Sian was the peak and Ferrari is just Sian 2.0 so I thought I was done with these supercars, but this McLaren looks so nice it makes me contemplate buying it.

  4. I think the Mercedes will be either black or blue according to common color schemes of that vehicle, but I'm digressing.
  5. @Danil that image has nothing to do with this thread and it's not from lego, can you please remove it?
  6. That makes me wonder: what are the new batch of purple and turquoise parts are for?
  7. Bell Boeing Osprey in DBG and Bright Light Orange, anyone?
  8. The front mudguard looks more like the chopped one in the front of the Daytona. Then there's this part in front of it:
  9. Well there are parallelogram panels in bright light orange in the front, and I dont think AI can generate that.
  10. Here you go: https://www.instagram.com/p/C8879zxJAbD/ It's bright light orange!
  11. Although this set looks really fugly too me and I didnt intend to get it at first, the amount of Technic functions packed in this set is worth it.
  12. I think the pneumatic cylinders are just used as custom length liftarms. Some certain distances have lengths that are not integer and there's no space for linkages, so cylinders are used.
  13. The rear fenders really gave me headache. The best solution is the Corvette wheel arch, but it isn't available in yellow. Then I used two rows of 5 stud long #4 connectors. But the upper row interferes with the pins going to the pin holes of the lower row so I had to make the top row 6 stud long instead. It still looks messy but at least it's better than the former arrangement. This is the base vehicle without arms btw.
  14. This is where I'm at right now. The whole chassis rests nicely on a pair of 3x19 yellow frame, in the middle of which run 3 drivetrains for 3 functions: fake engine, steering, and rotating chair. The basic shape of the cabin is done. The next major task involves designing the interior, the wheel arch, and the side fuel tanks. I feel like I've hit a creative wall so I'm just gonna leave it here and do something else in the mean time.
  15. Respectfully, both viewpoints are respectable.
  16. They may not have piece count limit, but they have price points which they must ensure their models adhere to. One parameter that the designers use is weight. So there is still a certain upper limit for piece count for any certain set. Not to mention, some sets used to contain fluff pieces just to boast "the largest set by piece count" title (42055, 421082, 42100). Why that title matters I have no idea. Maybe for marketing purposes.
  17. Probably because they wanna keep the cars at the 450$ price point.
  18. 3893 pieces $449.99 August 1st Source: brick_clicker Go nuts!!!
  19. Finally, a demonstration video! Better late than never.
