  1. The next Lego Technic "set" in 2024 has been revealed! It's .... https://www.instagram.com/p/C7bMHEbIPji/ a polybag-sized model that doesn't even come in a polybag and doesn't even have its own name or set number. Hence the set in quote marks earlier.
  2. Only these are noteworthy. Hopefully @R0Sch can get some more clues on how the set is built.
  3. I just realized I haven't explained why I'm so into mini models. In the designer's videos for Technic back in 2015 or sth, Markus Kossman said Technic is all about the cool function, or at least something along that line. And Technic sets these days dont have many cool functions that they used to. There are still sets that cater to the Technic-head (or function-head) like me, But I feel that the lineup is being diluted with the stuff that I'm not really interested in. So if the official models don't provide what I need, it's time I create them myself!
  4. I see illegal building techniques, I dismiss.
  5. Welcome to my humble home! I don't get posts from other people often in here, thanks for dropping by. As for the question, some time later this year. And it will be much more than a simple 42082 in a smaller scale.
  6. I'm very very very thrilled with the latest development of the model I'm working on, but I can't share it yet, so I'm just gonna drop another sneak peek here.
  7. Panel 2x3 in medium nougat, new in the Retro Radio
  8. So how does the model switch from opposite steering to crab steering? I still don't quite get it.
  9. Does this model have crab steering? I can't really tell from the instruction. Based on the instruction it looks like there isn't, but in the previous page there's a photo of this model with crab steering.
  10. User seregiz built this model with red and it looks ABSOLUTELY fire!!!
  11. If you can record yourself disassembling the model I can create an instruction from that.
  12. I added the mini Osprey into the list of reconstruction options.
  13. All details and functions of the original 42113 have been perfectly replicated in this mini model. The mini model uses only the parts that are available from other sets. The fuselage of the original model is 9 studs wide and 9 studs tall. I chose the shrunk factor is 2/3, so the fuselage of the mini model is 6 studs tall and 5 studs wide. Certain parts are scaled around the real Osprey rather than the 42113 set to ensure realistic appearances. Functions: - Retractable landing gears - Movable 2-piece ramp - Spinnable blades - Tiltable nacelles - Movable flaps This mini 42113 has 1016 pieces. The only rare parts are the micro panels in orange, only available from 42196, and tapered panels 5x11 in DBG, only available from 42146. But even then, according to Rebrickable total part cost is around 200$, which is pretty manageable. 14. If anyone wants to get the hub and lights alone, they can buy this set and I'm willing to buy back the remaining bricks so that I can put PF into it.
