  1. Because I've always wanted a large-size wheel excavator to complement the 8043, and Volvo EW160E is not just beautiful (I love it the moment I first saw it) but also potentially technically complex (like passing drive axle, outriggers axle, and dozer blade axle through the turntable).
  2. Indeed, the Claas should be the 50 EUR set and Volvo 120 EUR, not the other way around.
  3. Then we shall have the BWE as a Crawler Crane clone.
  4. The BWE is rumoured to be 220 EUR, the same price as the Volvo. I think it's likely to be a RC flagship.
  5. I'm so tempted to repost this with hopes that it can spur some speculations: I've just realized that the Claas and the Volvo has the SAME tyre patterns. Hence the 2 models are likely to have the same wheel size.
  6. Or you guys can just look at real vehicles for the time being. There is only 1 design for Volvo EW160E, 1 for Claas Xerion 5000 Trac VC, and 2 for BWE (full and compact). And I've just realized that the Claas and the Volvo has the SAME tyre patterns. Hence they're likely to have the same wheel size and tyre size. And Lego probably chose to produce Claas and Volvo in the same year to increase the number of this new tyre design and reduce its production cost.
  7. I've just noticed something about the Helicopter B-Model: it only has 2 motorized functions: rotors and winch. The loading ramp is handled manually by a switch under the model near the rear wheels. You can take a look at the B-model here: http://shop.lego.com...elicopter-42052 In the picture that shows the loading ramp of the B-model, if you zoom in you can see the ramp is connected to a bent 4x6 beam, which is connected to a red beam, which is connected to a beam that goes through the floor.
  8. I think Sariel was referring to the Cargo Plane 42025 which was already released in 2014 1H.
  9. Or maybe this so-called Ultimate IP Car and the rumored 300 EUR price are deliberately revealed by Lego so that they can see how people will react to them in general. And depending on the reaction it may or may not be produced.
  10. I've just inspected the size of the bucket in the Arocs and the mini turntable. If the Volvo turns out to use that bucket, I think the most reasonable wheels to go with it would be those in 42008 or 42024, to ensure the proportions of the real vehicle.
  11. "Flipping table" is an expression for frustration, or annoyance.
  12. More tables will be flipped if Volvo turns out to be 50 EUR.
  13. Has there ever been any year in which a set was cancelled?
  14. If that scenario happens I'll flip more than just one table.
  15. Thanks for the reply. I asked because, as you can see on the box's front cover, the 1.5L actually goes all inside.
  16. Hey VBBN, Does the shooter's 1.5L axle handle go all the way into Kopaka's hand? Or does it just go 1L at most?
  17. For Onua 2015 I put his golden mask on right away because I find that the black mask makes him look dark. However for Onua 2016 I think I'd put the black mask on because the contrast with Terak's head is striking. It gives the feeling that Onua is wearing a crown. The gold mask can't give that.
  18. Yes it is bad. Your taste is bad and you should feel bad. (jk)
  19. Tahu looks like a golden Aztec temple guardian. And do you guys notice that the 1.5L axle of the shooter handle goes all the way into Kopaka's hand piece? Pictures from multiple angles display that. That means there will probably be hands piece that axles can penetrate?
  20. MLX probably stands for Milan Excellency
  21. I think the silver creature heads look nice in the combo. The Toas look like they are wearing silver warrior helms.
  22. It's amazing how Jim's review managed to change the mind of quite some people. Perhaps Jim can ask for sales commission
  23. When will you do the review for the B-model?
