  1. Hey guys, I found the confidential, super secret designer video for the upcoming 42088
  2. Can't you just pull the two cross block connectors at the upper end of the curved panel off?
  3. Name: Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Set number: 42093 Piece count: 579 Age: 9+ Start: January 2019 Exclusive Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 replica model with a wealth of realistic features, including a large rear wing, 4 tailpipes, black spoked rims with low-profile tires, working steering and a detailed V8 engine with moving pistons. This collectible toy car comes with an authentic orange and black color scheme plus a cool sticker sheet for additional detailing. Operate the working steering and maneuver the vehicle to activate the visible V8 pistons. 2-in-1 LEGO Technic set: rebuilds into a Hot Rod. This LEGO Technic model is designed to provide an immersive and rewarding building experience. LEGO Technic sets feature realistic movement and mechanisms that introduce young LEGO builders to the universe of engineering in an approachable and realistic way. Suitable for ages 9+. Chevrolet Corvette measures over 3” (8cm) high, 11” (29cm) long and 4” (12cm) wide. Hot Rod measures over 3” (8cm) high, 9” (23cm) long and 4” (12cm) wide.
  4. Oh right I forgot that part exists
  5. Is there any connector piece that has a 1/2 pin at one end and a rod going inside a pin at another end? In the video, at 0:27, the handle on the side skirt looks unusual. There is a 90 degree macaroni piece, 2 half bushes, and a #1 connector. These parts are most likely connected through a 2-axle-1-pin connector. Yet the #1 connector also has a flat tile 1x1. Or maybe the #1 connector has a 1/2 pin and a 3L rod go through the three parts.
  6. There's no PF upgradability in the box. Besides, it doesnt make sense to motorize a winch with 2 speeds either. The two speeds will be barely noticeable when motorized anyway.
  7. I think TLG just wanna shove the 20z clutch gear somewhere in the product lineup, but for some reasons they can't include it in the Porsche, so it ends up here. The thing that needs a 2 speed gearbox doesn't get it, while the thing that doesn't need it get it.
  8. Who cares about Aesop's fable when we have one here already: The Porsche and the Tracked Loader.
  9. Erm what is the difference anyway I mean yes there are linguistic and biological differences but they don't affect the meanings of the stickers anyway so
  10. Maybe the 2019 product lineup requires a part pack set that reintroduces the curved orange 3x13 panel as well as introduces the new 10-hole orange 3x11 shell panel. And since TLG already bought the license for the Corvette, maybe someone thought hey why not wrap them all in a small scale Corvette, and add some other rare parts like orange 5x11 panel and curved black 3x13 panel to boost sales, aesthetic accuracy be damned.
  11. A blue 20z clutch gear? Woah woah woah.
  12. Does it make sense that this small set manages to have 3 action functions while the 1H flagship doesn't have any
  13. HOG steering is in the back. B model is an unlicensed Hot Rod.
  14. The only set in the batch that truly feels Technic-ish
  15. Functions: - One knob lifts the arm - One knob rotates the cab - One knob controls the winch. There's a switch in the back that controls the speed of the winch. Two stickers on both sides. The sticker in the left is a turtle, while the one in the right is a rabbit. So witty. Blue 20z clutch gear detected in the back wooohoooo. B model: Tracked dumper. This thing is so fxxking cool I'm defintely gonna get two of them. Name: Tracked Loader Set Number: 42094 Number of Pieces: 827 Age: 10+ Start: January 2019 Features a working boom and claw, 2-speed winch, rotatable cab and rugged ground-gripping tracks. Comes with a classic yellow and black color scheme and a sticker sheet for additional detailing Open the cab doors and rotate it through 360 °. Lift and lower the boom and the claw to grab and move the included tree trunk elements. This LEGO Technic set is designed to provide an immersive and rewarding building experience. Discover the building blocks of real-life mechanical machines with realistic LEGO Technic gear mechanisms. 2-in-1 model: rebuilds into a tracked dump truck. Tracked Loader measures over 6 "(17cm) high, 13" (35cm) long and 5 "(15cm) wide. Tracked Dumper measures over 5 "(14cm) high, 9" (25cm) long and 5 "(13cm) wide.

  17. One thing to keep in mind is that whenever a new part is introduced it's gonna be reused in the original color first, then other colors later. Since the sprocket is in yellow, I think it's still gonna be yellow in the next set that has it. So Claas Harvester is not possible for 2019. RC bulldozer or excavator is more likely. I don't put much hope in a crane, because 42082 is still on shelf.
  18. Or worse, maybe Porsche vetoed the gearbox
  19. The model itself is not a bad one, but I dont like the fact that it is called Corvette. If it has just a generic name like "Supercar", I would have no problem with it. Like 42080. While its design has some elements from the Ponsse Scorpion, it doesn't look like and it doesn't claim to be a Ponsse Scorpion. Why can't this 42093 be like that.
  20. And what is the arrow supposed to point out?
  21. My buy list for 2019 1H: 1x Porsche, 1x Helicopter, 1x Stunt Racer, 1x Tracked Loader (or 2x depending on its B model). I'll skip the rest.
  22. Maybe a quasi John Deere, like how 42080 is implemented. The general impression is a certain machine, but the set is not licensed.
  23. The tracked loader seems to be based on a massive real life machine. On the arm there is a warning sign about falling objects. That kind of sign only appears in huge machines. In Lego Technic as far as I remember that sign has only appeared in 42055 and 42082.
