    Looks like TLG got them to be taken down. To my knowledge the pics from cm4sci on reddit were the only source and those have been removed.

    I see the same thing. I really like the MOC over all and my only constructive criticism would be to possibly look for a different option on the roof.

    My highest compliment to you on your modular wooootles. I don't build or collect the modular buildings but I always find them very fascinating. This modular MOC is probably my favorite that I've seen on this forum. The details are often simple yet elegant and that helps keep a very clean design. Sorry to hear about the aggravation that releasing the LDD has caused but I hope you'll continue to design amazing MOCs even if you just put out the pictures.

    Glad to see that one of the ideas I supported actually won! I usually end up supporting sets that are too big or expensive to make it this far. Congrats to the designer and hopefully the end product doesn't stray too far from the original.

    It appears that the holiday countdown and the santa snow globe are the two small sets for this year. I find them somewhat disappointing. I was hoping for small sets possibly related to the holiday train. I guess I just have to settle for some good parts from them this year.

    I have a question and I apologize if its been answered already. Is there a setting for the activity feed so when I click on a thread it takes me to the first unread post instead of page 1? Its not the end of the world but its nice when you have a 100+ page thread to not have to key in the page number to jump to. Also, thank you to the all the admins and staff for the hard work on the forums. I've read a lot of negative comments in this thread but things seem to be coming together nicely. These things always take time and I am thankful for the work you all put in.

    I was able to find another hiker and had no problem with the compass fitting on the hand with this one either. Hopefully this means that those having problems are the minority.

    Hello all, I am one of those crazy fans who loves the Winter Village line all year long. I am constantly looking for sets that can be modifed to fit the vintage feel of the Winter Village. I currently have all the usual suspects in my village including the smaller limited edition sets from each year. I also have a few creator sets including Changing seasons and Mountain Hut. Last year I modified a Medieval Market as well as the small building from London Chase. I have a pretty small but growing collection of parts so I prefer finding official sets that can be modified instead of MOCs. Thanks in advance for any ideas!

    I think the round 1x1 that comes with the wildlife photographer is intended to be a lens cap for the camera. Great review as always

    Wait so is the price increase to $3.99 or to $4.99? Call me crazy, but I'm pretty sure they've been $3.99 for awhile

    I don't really see and end in sight unless the price gets out of control. I tend to just pick and choose for the ones that fit in town/WV but I suppose the complete series collectors might get bored if we see too many repeats. Seems like TLG is continuing to increase the number of officially licensed series (simpsons, disney, batman) to bring more collectors into the market.

    I bought mine in Wisconsin at TRU. I also bought mine much earlier than most people were finding them. Not sure if any of those factors might have something to do with it. I think if I can find another hiker I'll get it just for curiosity now

    Great idea! I like the builds you've put together so far. The fountain looks especially fitting for a winter village. I usually avoid buying the advent calendars for the same reason. The builds are too small usually to add to my village and in the end the parts usually don't amount to that much.

    The dual moldings in this series really make it stand out from most of the previous series. Its close, but I think this is the strongest series to date.
