Here's an idea: We could list a bunch of parts we want for the trains theme. The Pirates forum did something along these lines a couple of years ago, and got some success. I believe they wanted (among other things)new hair styles, new hats, and gold bars and coins with lower denominations. When PotC came out, they got those requested parts. (Not all of them though!) Anyway, what if we requested some of our most wanted parts and sent them to Lego? Maybe they will listen! This maybe not the right place to ask, but can I start the list? If not, I'll make a topic, or if anyonec else wants to, go ahead. Here are my wanted parts: 1. RC version of 9V train track crossing. (BL part #32087) Maybe they could pack them with regular curves, as the Flex Track pack (set #7499) has none. Link to 9V version at Bricklink 2. Narrow guage Straight Track (Actual track would be smaller!) Maybe a Narrow gauge track inluding this part, and the ones below? 3. Narrow Gauge Track Switches (left & right types) (Samller versions of these would be nice!) 4. Narrow Gauge Track Crossing, smaller version of item #1 on this list. 5. Narrow Gauge Double Crossover (splits in half like orginal) (smaller version again please!) While I'm on a roll, maybe we could have a Narrow Guage railway sets to make use of our narrow gauge tracks? Brickshelf user Kleon made good use of the current narrow curves with these models, and I would like something similar: (Kleon's Narrow Gauge steam passenger train) (Kleon's Narrow Gauge steam freight train) Anyone else like these ideas?

This ship was built by me in summer 2011. I designed it off the Titanic, but I wanted an diffrent name. I didn't want a sticker, so my search lead me to buy Bricklink tiles with the Harry Potter town name on it. I then made up a fictional history for it. Here is that fictional history with pictures. "Built by the Red Star Line & Hartford & Wolfe from 1919 to 1921, the RMS Hogsmeade can carry 2,140 passengers and 1,100 crew. Her 24 steam boilers were made by Ogel & Co. and are able to give the three propellers enough power to get the ship up to 28.5 Knots or almost 33 Miles per Hour. The ship sailed for it's maiden voyage under Captain Edger Hanley from Ironwood in the LEGO Empire. It's journey began on August 15th, 1921 and was uneventful for almost the entire trip, until a week later, on the 23rd, when the 2nd screw (propeller) was thrown, causing a 20 foot gash near the rudder. The ship was towed the remaining 11 miles into the harbor. The passengers disembarked and the ship was sent to dry dock for 7 weeks of repairs. The ships career was relatively uneventful for 52 more years, until 1973 the when it was time for it to be sent to the scrapper's torch. Luckily, the city of Ironwood saved the ship, and moored it to Pier 13 as a floating nautical museum alongside a reproduction of the HMS Executor, a reproduction of a 18th century sailing ship. The museum lasted until 1998, when the city decided to take away the museum and create a cruise ship. The entire 3rd class was removed and replaced by tourist quarters. The ship began it's new life in 1999 and started off by ringing in the new millennium in the middle of the Atlantic. The ship currently (Winter 2011) is in dry dock for a hull inspection." Here is the LXF: RMS Hogsmeade LXF Comments & Questions are welcome!

Here is my GG1 MOC from the Train Forum: Topic: LDD MOC: GG1 Actual File: GG1 Electric Locomotive Picture: As stated in the topic, the pantographs are NOT on the model. I could not figure out a design that matched the shape of the actual engine and was stable in real life. Also, the model is my railway's colors, not the real railroad color scheme. (The first actual color scheme was the Pennsylvania Railroad, brown, dark green, or dark red.) I hope this is okay. Thanks!

Here is the LXF for the GG1.... almost 6 months later, I remembered this file and my promise to upload the file here. So, without further ado, My GG1 LXF link! Enjoy! Also, I'm sorry I bumped this thread, I just couldn't let this not be uploaded! If I bothered or upset anyone by uploading this, I aplogize in Advance.

If your wondering what an AEC Regent III RT even is, follow this Wkipedia link. This is my version of a that bus except for two details: the stairs go to the wrong side, and it's brown instead of red or dark green. Anwyay: The Associated Equipment Company (AEC) Regent Type III is famous for being the purple Knight Bus in the Harry Potter "Prisoner of Azkaban" movie. In the movie the Knight Bus has three levels. This was made by using three diffrent buses welded together to make the triple decker. In real life service, this bus type was built from 1939 to 1954 and used until the late 1970's. It was usually painted red or dark green, but I decided on brown for this MOC just to be diffrent. And now, onto the pictures: The front view of the bus. This type of bus is very simmiler to the AEC Routemaster, a later type of double decker. The Regent III's are often mistaken for Routemasters by the public and by by the media. The bottom floor with 9 of the 19 seats. The top floor with the rest of the seats. This final part, the rear staircase, which is missing from LDD. It is supposed to be black, unlike in this picture. And finally, the LEGO Digital file. Comments, question's & complaints are welcome, and I'm sorry if I was overly technical with the background information.

I have an Emerald Night, and it runs through this piece fine. If your worried about long based engines going through this part, I have a 38 stud long engine that goes through it even easier than the Emerald Night. (Granted,it does overhang a little.) I hope this information helps.

I downloaded the file again today, and once again it was having the same problem. However, when I downloaded it for the second time in a row, It finally worked! I'm now happily using this wonderful program. Thank You for helping me out.
-
Okay, I just downloaded it again, and it's still displaying the same message as before. I don't know whats wrong. The file size says 14.6 MB, but it won't let me open it. When I try to extract it, it says it has nothing to extract. The "All Additional Parts" zip file opens fine, by the way, so I don't know what to do now...

I have Bluebrick 1.6.1, and It runs fine on my computer, a Windows XP Home. However, when downloading was completed on Version 1.7.0 of Bluebrick, I came across a severe problem: "Compressed (Zipped) folder is invalid or corrupted." I pressed the only option, (which was the "okay" button) and it never opened. Every time I open the zipped file, I get this same message "Compressed (Zipped) folder is invalid or corrupted." I don't know if this is on my end, but I've tried to open it 6 times and failed every time. By the way, I might not be able to use my computer again until tommorow. Can you help me please? Thanks, Murdoch17 P.S. The program is excellent by the way. From what I can tell, this program is going to be even better when I get it downloaded. Thank you to everyone who made this possible! Keep up the good work!

[KEY TOPIC] Wanted bricks in LDD
Murdoch17 replied to Superkalle's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Sorry to bump this, but could you add this to the list? 2046 Stairs 6 x 6 x 9 1/3 Curved Enclosed Thanks! I just need this one piece to complete my double decker bus... -
I was wondering if someone could do the new Kingdoms set, # 10223 "Kingdoms Joust" in LEGO Digital Designer. I would like just the huge red roofed tower, though I could still use the other parts of the set if they are included. Here is a pic. More images can be found in this thread. I'm going to try to use the red roofed building as a train station, so that's why I don't really need the other parts. Thank You.

Underwater Month Avatar Contest Winners
Murdoch17 replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Congrats to all the winners! Though I wonder what the next contest is... does anyone know? By the way, can I have a tag please? -
I've been working on a bridge myself. I came across 4 of this piece and have been using it for some time. I'm using it with a technic frame and 1 line with 4 pieces of straight RC track. It uses 2x12 plates underneath the places where the track connects to the next piece. I only have one problem: it isn't tall enough! I'll work on a technic LDD file when I can... the actual girder piece is missing though. (It's not in the program.) I'll upload a pic when I'm done with the file. EDIT: The file is in this link. and here is the model without the actual girder part: Enjoy!

I would like these parts, please: PART 1: Train, Track Plastic (RC Trains) Crossing in Dark Stone Grey. It will replace the original part, the 9V era Train Crosing. Here is a pic of the original: It could be used for creating rail layouts, such as Figure 8's, among other ideas. It could be sold on it's own, as the older part was, or sold in a pack along with regular curves, like the flex-track and straight track pieces that are being sold in packs. PART 2: Train, Track Plastic, Narrow, Straight in Dark Stone Grey Here is the curved version of the part: It could use be used in mining sets, like a western or modern mine. Switches in this size & color would also be welcome. Thank you.

Here is an updated version of my Ogel Safety Trolley. Here is the topic while the LXF is here. I have since added trolley poles so this is going to be updated again... eventually. EDIT: Done!
-
I just updated the trolley, and posted it here. Actually, I was working on it half an hour after I posted the original trolley, I just never reposted it. I tried every color scheme but could not find it with red. So I changed it to black and white. Hopefuly it looks better now. Here are the pics: The front, Side, head on, & here is the LXF. Enjoy!

Underwater Action Themes Avatar Contest!
Murdoch17 replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Yay! A way to combine my love of the Beatles with LEGO! If you don't understand yet, just wait, you'll see! EDIT: Here it is! -
Before I go to the actual MOC, I want to thank Doctor Sinister for creating the instructions for his TARDIS design. Without it, I would never have built my TARDIS interior. Now here are the pictures: Both the inside and outside of the TARDIS side to side. The inside contains a Sonic Screwdriver holder plus several computer panels and switches. The outside is in the shape of a classic 1963 Police Public call box. The TARDIS flying through Time & space. I used a reverse color image of a desktop background I found on my Computer, and then added the TARDIS. The Doctor in the TARDIS. (The actual suit I use in real life is this Alien Conquest suit.) Here is the LXF file. Enjoy!

This model was based off a Brickhelf user named Carl's Rolls Royce. Here is his MOC. Anyway, here are the pictures: the front. These back wheel wells drove me crazy when I ordered this model. Apparentley the parts I have don't like to say in place, so I put a rod in between the two black arches. If you don't understand, that's okay, it's hard to explain. The rear, showing those parts I was talking about. The LDD file. By the way, I have just finished this MOC / MOD in real life. Hopefully I'll post the pics here sometime in the near future...

This post office was designed in response to Winter Post Office set 10222. It includes a complete second floor unlike the 1/2 floor in the orginal set. The truck is almost the same as the original, except the snowshoe holder is missing, among other things. Here are the Pictures: The post office with postal truck. The second floor has the sorting & bagging rooms, while the first floor has the waiting room and some boxes of mail ready to go to the second floor. The street view. I plan on ordering this model eventually be ordered and built. I already have the truck from a diffrent model, now I just need the post office itself. Here is the file if you want it. Also, Comments, Questions, & Complaints are, as always, welcome.

This model is a MOD of this Neighborhhod Trolley MOC by Brickshelf user J-2. I call my version the Ogel Safety Trolley, in honor of the Birney Safety Car, a real life trolley that was made from 1917 - 1930, and Ogel because I like the Alpha Team villian of the same name. Anyway, the green bricks in the model are supposed to be this part. Here are my pics: The front showing those green bricks. The side showing the coupling system, of which I'm not sure will work. The your-about-to-get-run-over view. And here is the LXF. (The only problem is: Will the connecting system work? I don't have the bricks to make a mock-up to test it. I guess what I will have to do is order it and hope this dosn't end up as a parts pack. Oh well, at least the parts are not expensive using LDD. ) Comments, Questions, and Complaints are welcome!
