UPDATE: I have finished whast I started. Here are the new pictures with Blue, Ligh Bluish Grey & Sand Green engines added. Names for the engines are as follows from left to right: Emerald Knight, Ebony Avenger, Crimson Crusader, Ivory Angel, Blue Battalion, Grey Ghost, Sands of Time, & Great West. I couldn't think of a better names for the Sand Green engine, and besides, the color is SAND green! I removed the trans-orange drills (the fire for the firebox) and a bunch of other non-avalible parts. The LXF is in the Link. Enjoy!

I have created five versions of the Emerald Night. There are other options, such as Blue and Sand Green, but I want someone else to come up with their own versions (and names!) using Superkalle's LDD manager to check if it's buildable. Link Here to the topic. My pictures and engine backstory: The engine names are, from left to right, Emerald Knight, Ebony Avenger, Crimson Crusader, Ivory Angel, & Great West. The engine on the right, Great West, is named after the train it pulls, so it's name does not follow the color coded pattern of all the others. Many more engines exist than these five, but they are all standard Black w/ red stripes, somewhat like the Ebony Avenger. The tenders are all exactly the same, except for one: Emerald Knight was involved in a accident early in it's career. The tender was mangled, and so a replacement was made with several updates to it. (The lower tail-light is an example.) Unfortunatly, this tender design was never repeated, but the one example was preserved for unknown reasons. Engine Type: Steam, Passenger Configuration: 4-6-2 Engine Class: A7 Designer: Sir Nigel Gregory Build Date: 1922 - 1935 Total produced: 52 Builder: Panther Locomotive Works Current Owner: Brick Railway Length: 50 studs (with tender) Width: 8 studs Height: 11 bricks Top Speed: 98 MPH Lego Digital Designer file is in this link. Comments, Questions & Criticism is welcome!

This train was built by Brick Railways to be the as word in elegance. It features a baggage car, three coaches, a observation lounge with rear platfrom. It runs from Legoredo, through Clarksville, onto Alemeda Junction, into Los Legolas and then to Ironwood. It is pulled by a 4-6-2 steam locomotive at speeds of 75 miles per hour over most of the route, although the engine can go up to almost 100 miles per hour in an emergency. This picture is showing the front. Baggage car Three passengers cars make up the center of the train. This car is the observation lounge with rear deck. The above panels are suppposed to go where the brown 2x4 tiles are. The whole train as in the LXF. The LXF is in this Link HERE Comments, Questions & Criticism are always welcome!

All aboard the Spirit of Legoredo! This train runs from Ironwood, thru Glenoce, onto Forest Hills, & then straight into Legoredo's Union Station. The Spirit of Legoredo consists of a baggage car, three passenger cars, and an observation lounge. The front view with engine. The Baggage car. Three of these make up the majority of the train. The observation lounge. The whole train as in the LXF. If you want your own copy, The LXF can be found here. The train is buildable in real life, as I'm looking at mine sitting on my layout. Comments questions and criticism are welcome! (Oh, and the name was just one of those running-out-of-names, spur-of-the-moment kind of things.)

Creepy Modular Fence Expansion Pack
Murdoch17 replied to Murdoch17's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
(I made this version of the fence about 2 hours before I noticed Vynsane's creation. If the fences look similar, great minds think alike. Not to mention we both used the official gate as the basis for both our versions!) Anyway, here is my Third version of the fence, lower and more official looking. Iv'e included a couple of interior items to boot, but i'm going to tell them to you in an official-looking way: Haunted House Expansion Pack Ages: 9 -12 Part count: 535 parts Expand your Monster Fighters Haunted House with this Creepy expansion pack! This set includes: a pool table, couch, grandfather clock, pool stick holder / table lamp, a wine cabinet (with 2 bottles!), an old fashioned automobile, and creepy fence to surround your Haunted House! Haunted House Expansion Pack Set Number: #### Price: 44.99 Pictures: The whole set! Closeup of the inside items and the car. If you want the fence and assorted items, click here. If you want the car in another color besides Sand Green, I have 13 other colors to choose from, so you can have some variety. Here is a pic to prove it, and yes they can all be built in real life. If you want any of the above cars to modify for your haunted house, (or other projects!) then Click on this link. -
Creepy Modular Fence Expansion Pack
Murdoch17 replied to Murdoch17's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Since we are comming up with all these fantastic new versions of the Haunted House fence and grounds-work, I think we need a title change to something like this: (If a Mod could do this please it would be wonderful!) Title: Improving the Haunted House Subtitle: Renovating the inside & outside of set 10228 This way, If anyone wants to do grounds work, like trees, rocks, and such, they can come here to post it. Also, inside details could be posted here, such as a grand piano, or a couch or something. What do you think? -
Creepy Modular Fence Expansion Pack
Murdoch17 replied to Murdoch17's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Yes, they do have the 1x2 "brick" piece in LDD. I could do it... Thanks for the idea, I'll see what I can do. EDIT: Version 2 of the Creepy Modular Fence. LXF is in this link. The MOC Page link is the same, but here it is anyways: MOC Page link By the way, does anyone think that the fence's enclosed space will have to be bigger to fit the Haunted House? -
Surround your Monster Fighters Haunted House with this Creepy Fence Expansion pack! This spooky set includes: A opening Main Gate, 12 straight walls, six outside corners, two inside corners, 42 Technic pin connectors, (to hold your modular walls together) & a break-away wall for daring escapes! I built this a couple of months ago when the first picture was leaked. I tweaked it a little last night, and uploaded it to MOC Pages this morning. Here are the pictures: front-ish view Overhead view... I hope this is big enough for the actual house! The Break-away wall feature. I wanted it to look like a crumbling wall that a car could possibly go through. The Main Gate. Break-up of the components. If it's not big enough I would suggest adding another straight wall (& two pins) to each wall. The LDD file is HERE. This is the MOC Page. Comments, Questions, and Critics are welcome!

I based this engine off of Daedalus304's 4-4-0. I remade it in Lego Digital Designer and made it into my own colors and changed it a lot. Back story of the engine: This 4-4-0 steam locomotive was made in 1897 by Buildwin Locomotive Works. It was delivered to Brick Railway and numbered 117. It worked the Fort Legoredo branch of that railway from it's delivery until 1920, when it was retired. it was stored at Legoredo station until 1934, when the engine & three cars were used in a publicity shot, as the past, alongside the Chicago, Brickington & Quincy Railroad's Pioneer Zephyr, shown as the future. After the photo shoot, the engine was brought back to Fort Legoredo to be used in several western movies. It was stored, lost and forgotten in a warehouse outside Denver Colorado until 1967, when it was restored to working order for the 100th Aniversary of Brick Railway Systems. Along with three choaches, (the same three from the photo shoot) and five other historic engines it toured the country for one year, showing the progress of the railorad. It was finally placed in the Museum of Transportation, in St. Louis MO, after the tour ended in 1968. it has remained there to this very day. Pictures: front view side view run-you-over view Rear view cab view LXF for this steam engine NOTE: The front of the engine is elevated 1/3 bricks off the ground. it's supposed to do this, and will work in real life without problems.

I have a simmliar 4-4-0 locomtoive... I based it off someones elses MOC (I forget who, sorry!) here at Eurobricks, and made it in my railroad's colors. You can have it, (if you want it) to modify into the E.P. Ripley (Engine No 2) Here are a pic oir two: Note: The front end is lifted off the ground 1/3 or a brick. It's supposed to do this and it willl work in real life. And the LXF: LXF for the Steam Locomotive If you want more pictures, I'm going to create a topic for it sometime today, or you can see it on MOC pages: Link to my MOC Page Enjoy! EDIT: I now have found the orignal MOC. Daedalus304 made it about a month ago. here's his topic: Daedalus304's Steam engine

This car was made from my original Rolls Royce Mark II, but I decided to go all little closer to my hometown with my updated version. It's now been based off of the 1905 -1930 automobile maker, Moon Motor Car. It was based in St. Louis, Missouri and it had it's peak year in 1925, with production of 10,271 vehicles. (Here is link to Wikipedia with more information: Moon Motor Car link) Anyway, after deciding what to name it, I reworked it to include a rear spare tire and tailights, while fixing the front bumper to make it stronger. Also, thanks to Superkalle's wonderful program, LDD Manager, (link here for the topic) a tool which alows you to see parts you need to build it in Real life. I used this tool top make my car in 14 colors, some with stripes and diffrent colored wheels. ALL of them are buildable in real life. And now, the long awaited model pictures: All the cars in order left to right: BACK ROW: Tan w/ black stripe, solid Blue, solid Green, solid Yellow, Black w/ light bluish gray stripe, Solid Orange, solid Reddish-Brown. FRONT ROW: Sand green w/ black stripe, solid Dark Bluish Gray, solid Red, solid Light Bluish Gray, Dark Blue w/ black stripe, Solid Dark Red, White w/ black stripe. The same cars from above. This Sand Green colored car was made for the Monster Fighters zombie driver, Renfield. It could also go with the zombie Bride & Groom. side view of the Sand Green Monster Machine, as I like to call it. Rear view, with the tailights and spare tire. The rear lights were hard to come up with, believe it or not, becuase I wanted to have them stand on the rear bumper. Oh well. It looks better this way, don't you think? The don't-run-me-over view shows the two clips i used to help the bumper become stronger. don't ask me why I didn't put flat 1x1's there, as I don't know... The official Moon Motor Car logo from 1906. The LXF is below: Moon Motor Car in 14 colors NOTE: Twenty-eight 1x2 axels are included in this model for building it in real life. You need two per automobile to make sure the rear two arches don't fall out. Slide the 1x2's into the hole where the arches meet, and this make sure it says stable. other than this, the model is ready to be played with / used in a MOC / whatever else you can think off! Comments / questions / critics welcome!

LDD MOD: Ironwood Glenoce & Western Electric Streetcar Railway
Murdoch17 replied to Murdoch17's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Nope, no problem at all. Have fun with it! -
PCC streetcar Street car topic link Black & White PCC streetcar LXF NOTE: Heavily based off of TJJohn12's streetcar. Below is a picture of his model. Is that ok?
-
Before I go off describing my back story for this street car, I wanted to say something. Thank you, TJJohn12, for creating this streetcar and releasing the LDD file. I really enjoyed taking it apart and seeing how it works. Thanks again! Here is my back story: These two PCC streetcars were built for the Ironwood, Glencoe & Western Electric Railway in 1939 as part of their upgrading from their early 1920's Ogel Safety Cars. They were used for the Blue line, from the Market Loop in Ironwood to the City of Glencoce's waterfront area on the Jenkins River. The cars were used from 1939 to 1964, when the Ironwood Glencoe & Western Electric Railway shut it's doors, until reopening as a tourist railway in 1982. All the cars were brought out of storage, with some of the PCC car's being coupled together in groups of two for optimal service. Here are the pictures: The PCC cars are bi-directional, meaning no turntables or loops are needed Side view Front view General Statistics: Engine Type: President's Conference Committee (PCC) Streetcar Designer: Transit Research Corporation Build Date: 1936 - 1952 Total produced: 5000 Builder: Saint Louis Car Company Length: 38 studs (per car) Width: 7 studs Height: 9 bricks Top Speed: 50 MPH PCC streetcar LXF Comments, Questions, & complaints welcome!

Thank you for your help spzero! The boogies are on turntables, and I will not be putting a motor in it. (I will probably just have it sit in my yard or hand push it around my track.) Once again, thank you for the help.

Sorry for bumping this old topic, but I have a question about the design. I'm planning on making two of this sreetcar, but I can't figure out if it will go round curves & switches without a problem. Can someone please tell me if if this will work? Here are the pictures of the connector and streetcar: the connector is in this pic... and the whole streetcar is in this one. The file is below. LDD Streetcar model file If anyone can help, it would be appreciated. Once again I'm sorry for bumping this old topic.

These are other parts I'd like: BL Part #: 3231b Train, Track, 4.5V Crossing, Slotted Rail BL Part #: x878cx2 Train, Track 4.5V Switch Point Left with Dk Gray Ties BL Part #: x879cx2 Train, Track 4.5V Switch Point Right with Dk Gray Ties (I know they came in one set per part, put I like to be complete!)

I was making a minature railway in LDD, and since we don't have narrow gauge straights, I wanted to do what this Brickshelf user did: ...But the required parts don't exist in LDD (the inner and outer rails)! Here is my part suggestions: This comes in three versions. Here is the one I want: Train, Track Slotted Rail Curved Outside (3229b) This also comes in three versions, and I would like this one: Train, Track Slotted Rail Curved Inside (3230b) Now, I would like the LDD designers to look into this narrow gauge track idea and see if it's allowed. (if it's illegal or not, basically) ...In case your wondering, I wanted these to be parts implemented becuse I have designed a narrow gauge steam engine and train, and would like tracks to go with it. Thanks!

These passenger train cars were built by my father around 2003 - 2005 for me. However, the steam & diesel engines were desgined / redesigned by me. The diesel was taken from another Eurobricks user CromeKnight via the LDD MOC Index. It was then redesigned & recolored into it's current colors and shape. I had these in real life long before LEGO Digital Designer was around, (except for the Diesel!) and only recently recreated them in Digital format. I had him make them in Black and red, as black was a realistic color to build in, and a red stripe at the base was used on some offical 1980's LEGO steam engines, so I took that and ran with it. They may not look the best, but I played with them well, and tried to recrate them as best I could. (Note: the doors from the bagggage car are left off because they are not in LDD.) Here are the pics: Stream locomotive # 5972. (based off of the engine set #7722) Diesel engine #1193 (taken from ChromeKnight, as stated above.) Mail / Brake Van (based off of the engine set #7722) Baggage car (based of a boxcar from set #4563. Sliding doors are black in real life.) Passenger coaches, (there are three of these, and the basic design is from #7715) The whole cosist, minus which ever engine is pulling. The whole system. I'm thinking of exapnding. Here's the LXF. Enjoy it, for I certainly have! Black & Red Train By the way, Comments, Questions, and complaints are always welcome!

Here is my version of set 4554 Metro Station, based of another's MOC. (Basically, they put two of the sets together and posted it on Brickshelf. I then took that inspiration way farther.) Here is the topic link, and the LXF is right here: Old Fashioned Train Station.
-
Thanks for the compliments, though I can't take all the credit. I found the orginal file on Brickshelf about a year ago, (built on Design by me section of LDD)and I basically ran with the concept, taking it way farther than it first looked. It was white with huge wall panels, non-removable roof, no inside, and no platform to speak of, along with other stuff. (it was a end-of-track kinda thing.) Anyway, I'm going to get the majority of the parts from LEGO, but there's always the possiblity of it comming down to Bricklink for all the parts. Hopefully though I can get it through LEGO. I just hope I have enough room room left for the station...
-
This station was desgined first by LEGO as set 4554, Metro Station. It was recreated by someone on brickshelf,(I forgot the username, it was a while ago.) but had an added "street side", that was almost identical as the track side, and it was a stub end type station. (unlike now!) I downloaded it and added: a expanded, redesigned platform, changed the colors to tan / brown / black, made a clock with sign for both sides, and made the sections removable. (Yes, the roof for both levels come off.) Also, the new ribbed colums, side facing windows, and brown fencing were my idea as well. Here are the pics: Track side Street side Head-on (track side) Birds eye view... kinda looks like this symbol: { ...doesn't it? Here is the Old Fashioned Station LXF. Comments, questions, & etc. are welcome! P.S. there is an inside, but I forgot to take pictures of it. Really all there is inside is: Floor 1: Two ticket counters & several seats. Floor 2: Counter with drawers, coffee machine, and a huge computer. (All the old Switching / tracking equipment was replaced a while ago.) EDIT: While posting this MOC of a train station, the song "White Room", by "Cream", came onto my radio. How wierd that the song takes place near / at a railway station. I wonder what the odds are for that!

ADHO15's LDD MOCs
Murdoch17 replied to ADHO15's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
I'll say... Monty Python & the Holy Grail?
