LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 21. Rumors and discussion
gedren_y replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I was actually expecting Looney Tunes to be later in the year, coinciding with the Space Jam 2 release. -
Distressing news: this might be why LEGO seems not to be interested in restoring the LOTR license.

Cute kid in devil costume, yes. Woman in zipper-to-crotch 'catsuit' lady devil, no.

Terraversan Letters of Marque - The Second Terraversan War

"It's Gojira, you moron!" quoted from a movie I actually was talking about with one of my coworkers this morning. -
I'm remembering a shield that got lot of circulation before it was revealed that it was a Pick-A-Brick exclusive print. This part could be the same, and probably had been in production for distribution to LEGO Stores well before the pandemic.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours

I thought Disney renegotiated both of them to be non-exclusive. It would explain why the Star Wars battle packs are ending. -
[OL - A-MCRA] Travels to Terraversa

@Ross Fisher, there are at least a couple of items in the Grand Halos History Museum that may be of interest to the Canon. Think he might take advantage of the unrest to acquire them? -
Henry Hawk could be with Foghorn Leghorn, like Tweety and Sylvester/Granny. The Roadrunner could be with Wile E. Coyote (and maybe dynamite) like the flamingo was with the Gardener in Series 19. In one of the empty spaces in your list I'd put Taz.

I'm now hoping that this is the beginning of a much broader Warner Bros. license, and not a one-off movie license. I just learned that Animaniacs is making a comeback, and it's not a reboot!

LEGO Monkie Kid 2020

Polybags do occasionally last past the GWP period, and become available for direct purchase, you just have to use the Shop By Price section. The GOTG polybag only ran out this year, and the Black Panther, LEGO Movie 2, 20th Anniversary Obi-Wan Kenobi polybags are still available. There are two Friends and two City polybags listed as well. I wouldn't be surprised if the Trolls World Tour polybag gets listed soon. -
New Islands Information Part III: The New Haven Sea
gedren_y replied to Ayrlego's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
The shipwreck on Island 3 is obviously of Truachesh neh Triuri origin. The oldest known maps of the region came from the Crahaish neh Triuri Archive, and are more than 200 years old. -
Tweety is male.

Dune has an overtly religious storyline. Book III of the original novel is literally titled The Prophet. This is why LEGO won't do Dune.

I've had the Starter Set for a couple of days now. I haven't activated Mario yet, but having him in hand, he is smaller than a lot of the promotional information makes him seem. This theme, it seems, is designed to draw in children who are social media aware to not only LEGO, but Mario as well. While the app is where most of the instructions are located (the power-up suits have paper ones), it's main function seems to be sharing and comparing, along with system updating. Yes, the sets themselves are somewhat weak on parts count, but that's to be expected with the level of expense that goes into creating the gameplay function. Those stickers probably use a very specific kind of ink, under a protective coating, and each batch are probably tested before application. Part of the idea of the theme, though, is encouraging children to come up with their own courses, so just about any LEGO could be used to expand upon the sets. In this way it returns to the roots of LEGO, with creative building play, and in so doing encouraging a new generation of MOC builders.

I'm wondering if Space Jam 2 has anything to do with this. If so, it will be next summer at the earliest.

It is a recolor of the patronus. There is already a discussion about it beginning on page 33 of Latest news about Lego animal moulds. -

Didn't LEGO update the Forestman hat some years ago? I seem to remember it needed minor adjusting to conform to current clutch tolerances. If I'm incorrect, let me know. -
Elmer Fudd uses a shotgun, not a rife!

To get Taz's proportions right he'd need an oversizeed torso, and new mobile short legs.

My Chrome is working now. It took clearing the cache of at least 7 days, and then going back to the main page.

Google Chrome (Windows) won't load Notifications. I have to open it in another screen, and allow it again. Also I cannot see the text functions at the top of this reply box.

If they are to have Spider-man I'd like the Spider-man Unlimited costume. -

I can see Toad's Treasure Hunt being a boon to Forestmen builders.
