Dr. Bloodbrick's Asylum II: Fraulein Bloodbrick
Rumble Strike replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
This twist with the meds making people act even crazier is really funny A superb game to observe, loving it so far. Great sets too, def. Really well done. -
Cronk best party leader ever!
-
"I knew we'd be running into some canine trouble, but these fleabags look really diseased! Same order as last time, with our heavy hitters going first. Battle Order Hoke Tesni Tarn Alexis Althior Ellaria I suggest those who can fight from the back do so. Also as we are only against 2 enemies perhaps one of us who got a Venom vial should use it on our weapon? At your own discretion, obviously. I will attack Rabid Guard Dog A from the front row."
-
OOC: That's fine by me, I wasn't making a unilateral decision as party leader, just putting across my choice.
-
Tarn shivers uncontrollably as the wind pierces the still. He still favours the left passageway.
-
If we can't hear anything further down the passageway that's opened forward, I'd say we should still go left. Plus it really seems like a trap!
-
OK, let's head back the way we came and then go to the left where the barking sounds were heard.
-
Tarn looked at the dagger, his brown eyes shining in the half-light afforded by the torch. "Great, I think the Diamond means that if we run into any more undead... things, that we will also have this to use as a physical weapon against them too."
-
I think we are at the end of this passageway so we should indeed try to head back towards the barking sounds.
-
Sombred by the two deaths so far, Winston spoke up, "I agree with the others, I think the police station is the best place to go next."
-
"Good job everyone!" Tarn said, in high spirits despite the injuries the party had sustained. Their first battle had been victorious. "I will divide the spoils up as follows: Venom x3 - one for Hoke, one for Tesni, one for myself. This is because we are the frontline damage-dealers. Bone - I'll give this to Alexis, it may come in useful along with her Animal Friend skill. Crown (300 Gold at end of quest)- divide this up later when sold. Dagger (WP: 4) Suitable for Mages and Rogues - give to Althior as our resident mage. Ellaria my dear, I am so sorry that I haven't got anything to give you. Let's hope that we find something nice for you soon!"

Welcome to Eurobricks Suspsy. I recognise your name and avatar from the Allspark where I do lurk occasionally. I'm sure you will find Eurobricks to your liking

Thanks Althior! I think we are ready for round 2 then. Let's kick some bony undead backside. OOC: In the Mafia games editing posts is frowned upon because going back and changing what you put in an earlier post based on newer info is not fair. I don't think that applies in this RPG particularly but that's why I didn't see it before. If you have to post afterwards to say you changed it in an earlier post, you may have well just switched targets in a later post.
-
Good to have you with us Mr Ablesword! Althior, you still need to actually change your target to the nobleman. Then I think we are good to go for the next round.
-
"I'm glad we have you here to let us know these crucial details!" said Tarn to Ellaria with a smile.

This is the first I have seen of this theme, and I am certainly digging several of the sets. Definitely a riff on Jurassic Park without those pesky licensing fees. I am not worried that the dinos are not brick built as some of the more recent animals we have got have been superb such as the ostrich and camel from Prince of Persia, and the goat and chicken in Kingdoms. The smallest set with jeep, dinosaur and foliage seems to be a real winner and I can see people army building that to get a fleet of jeeps and dinosaurs. The observation tower set looks nice, and the Triceratops set has a great looking dinosaur and a really good looking vehicle. The more expensive sets I am more on the fence on. The sea plane would be better with a different dinosaur and the T-Rex set hinges on how good the helicopter will actually be. In that pic it looks a bit flimsy.

Tarn looked at the tall Barbarian woman and his heart raced. With her anger she was a sight to behold. Nevertheless he thought as Party Leader he needed to step in. "Uh, Tesni.... Ellaria just said that normal attacks won't hurt the undead..." he stopped, seeing a thick vein begin to throb in her forehead. He paused a second befroe adding, "But if anyone could hurt that thing, it's going to be someone as strong and beautiful as you!"
-
I thought Ellaria said they would work? You just won't get extra damage?
-
Tarn was impressed that he had outright felled an enemy with his first hit. He raised his pole-axe in defiance. "There's more where that came from! Let 'em have it!" He then turns to the rest of the team. "Althior, as Ellaria said, your mage powers and her cleric powers are our only weapons against the undead. You should focus on the nobleman rather than the spider which the rest of us will take care of." He thought it would be a long fight with only 2 of the 6 heroes able to attack the undead. I will attack Spider C from the Front Row. Hoke will also Spider C from the Front Row. Battle order Same as before: Hoke Ablesworth Tesni Tarn Alexis Althior Ellaria
-
OOC: Thanks! Hoke Ablesworth will fight from the front row and attack spider A. Apart from that I would just like Althior to change his target seeing as he's a magic user, but as he's stated his attack preference before I guess we could just start and see how we do.

Winston was shocked that this murder had occurred in Lexington. "I've been all over the world and seen a lot of strange things, but this tops them all," he said, mainly to himself as he watched the others ask good questions of the doctor and reporter and also investigate the crime scene. He didn't feel he could contribute anything with everyone doing their thing, so he just made sure he was following the discussions.
-
OOC: As Party Leader can I override or choose other party members actions? Not trying to be a dictator or anything but it's be useful to know.
-
Tarn was pleased that the more experienced Ranger showed initiative, he looked at her appreciatively. "Ooh, no, use your lightning bomb on the undead nobleman in that case. Hopefully with Hoke, Tesni and myself targetting the spiders, we should finish them off pretty quick."
-
OOC: Got confused by Masked's post and it being on a new page. Thought the barking sounds were down the right hand side! D'oh! Some Party Leader I am Tarn recoiled at the sight of the undead nobleman, he had seen nothing like it during his years of training in his village in the mountains of Titaan. Still, that's why he had come to Heroica Hall in the first place. He steeled himself and made the attack decision. "OK, I will attack Spider B from the Front Row. Althior, Ellaria says your spells will come in handy here, so I want you to attack the undead nobleman rather than the spiders, the non-clerics and mages can take care of them. Likewise Alexis, can you take care of a Spider for us? Battle order: Our silent Knight Hoke Ablesworth Tesni Tarn Alexis Althior Ellaria Hopefully our Knight can protect us and then the Barbarians and Ranger can finish off the spiders quickly before our magic users take on the undead. Hoke, if you are out there, fight from the front row and attack spider A. Alexis should target that one also."
-
OK, we will go RIGHT and Alexis will try her Animal Friend skill.
