Agree with most that Ivy is looking amazing Not sure that they have made the right decision with a big Hulk like that. Iron Man's helmet does look wrong also. Everything else though is looking very nice.

REVIEW: 8899 Gator Swamp
Rumble Strike replied to PixelFox's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
This really was a forgotten theme. A nice review though. I like the Backyard Blasters bigger boat in this set, it looks very intimidating. -
Coming from a Minimates background, I am really excited to see that Lego got the Marvel licence too, but I hope it isn't an "exclusive" block figure one. Mega Bloks and Minimates have run co-currently so hopefully they will be OK.

No way will that happen. DC and Marvel are two separate companies, owned by two competing multi-national corporations (DC = Warner Bros, Marvel = Disney). I am very excited for this, licencing the whiole DC Universe is a great step and will ensure a wide variety of leading characters, something that hamstrings most of the licenced themes.

[MOC] "Micro Collection" Death Star Escape
Rumble Strike replied to BaronSat's topic in LEGO Star Wars
A very smooth looking construct, and a fantastic recreation of the source model. Lots of greebling and smaller details make this lovely to look at. -
A great review Masked, I particularly like the pics showing off the light function and the abduction hole, very nice! I think we are a way off Lego tractor beam bricks so this method works for me

REVIEW: 4744 Tundra Tracker
Rumble Strike replied to -R8-'s topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
A lovely review R8, crystal clear pics! Alpha Team was well into my Dark Ages so I love reading up on what I missed. Like a lot of the minifigures around this time, though, I don't like the fact that they have hair detailing. It really puts me off! -
The Coming Darkness - Conclusion
Rumble Strike replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I didn't suspect that at all. This was only my second Mafia game so I'm pleased I got another pass. We were all so fixated on the concept of Townies versus Dark Ones that no-one stopped to think about our incredible streak and what it actually meant. I have to admit, I thought by the end of Day 3, with 3 Dark Ones found, that def had tried out this witness card/investigation concept and it hadn't worked very well, that the balancing of the game was off because of the power of the investigations. I'm so naive! But a lot of fun, thank you to def and Si-Mocs, thank you everyone who played, some great discussions in-game. I got worried when it was myself and MacK as suspects, cos I knew I was Town, and that meant he was definitely a Dark One. Because I remembered just how well he'd played in Fabuland Housewives as Mafia, I knew he wouldn't give me many opportunities to suspect him. He was very cool about the whole thing, and I was considering the possibility that he was Town as well, but I'd never looked much further than a few clues at a time, and it's clear now that we should have been looking much harder at the overall thing. -
The Coming Darkness - Day Four
Rumble Strike replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Why would a person you told us was a member of the Town confirm two wrong clues? Clues which point directly to you without even needing the first one. No, you realised you would get caught out if your investigation set up Camanakin instead of Carly. You knew you had to sacrifice her despite her being a Dark One, because if you had said Camanakin was a Dark One, we'd've lynched him instead and then realsied you'd pulled our strings. So you set yourself up as a Townie, and waited. End of the line for you now, you banana-wielding monster! -

I was hoping to see some more cards used but time is now short and through the course of the day's thorough investigation it's clear who the killer of Roweena is. I vote: Bananakin Skywalker (Brickdoctor -

Camanakin Skywalker - Town hustler (Big Cam) Investigated as Town by Bananakin on Day 1 Womanikin Skywalker - Housewife/Wife of Mugg Kupp (Badboytje88) Mugg Kupp - Military propagandist/Husband of Womanikin (MacK) Suspect in Otako murder, Day 3 Scotty Pie - University Academic (CallMePieOrDie) Investigated as Town by Robanakin on Day 3 Shenanikin Skywalker - Elementary School Student (sok117) Bananakin Skywalker - Town bicycle (Brickdoctor) Investigated Camanakin Day 1, pronounced him as Town Main suspect in Roweena murder, Day 4 Mrs. Le Goninja - Pub owner/Wife of Ram Strut (Mrlegoninja) Ram Strut - Bouncer/husband of Mrs. Le Goninja (Rumble Strike) Suspect in Otako murder, Day 3 Robanakin Skywalker - Town guard (Roboku) Investigated ScottyPie Day 3, pronounced him as Town Bubb Kupp - Town guard (Bob the Construction Man) -

OK, here is a tally of witness statements and suspects for the murders: Day 3 murder of Craig Otako Mrs le Goninja clue - man Bananakin clue - green ScottyPie (Town) clue - had a wedding ring Mistress Kupp (Town) clue - man Suspects: Mugg Kupp Ram Strut As Bananakin is now a suspect in two other murders, do you think it is worth someone investigating this one to confirm the green clue which implicates me and Mugg? On seeing the survivors list, only myself and Mugg are married men, and we should be confident of Scotty's clue. Day 4 murder of Roweena Mrs Le Goninja clue - woman Shenanakin clue - mostly white Shenanakin clue - blue eyes Womanakin clue - woman Ram Strut (suspect in Otako murder) clue - mostly white (card used to help Cam get the blue eyes clue confirmed) Camanakin (Town) clue - blue eyes Scotty (Town) clue - woman Camanakin (Town) clue - mostly white Suspects: Bananakin This does not look good for Bananakin who fits all three clues. Heavy investigation by Camanakin, who was pronounced as Town by Bananakin. Even if you discount the woman clue there isn't a man with blue eyes dressed mostly in white. If you discount the "mostly white" clue then it could be Bananakin or Womanakin. And if you discount the "blue eyes" clue, the suspects are still Bananakin and then Mrs Legoninja. But honestly, the evidence is damning at this point. Day 4 murder of Mistress Kupp Bubb clue - killer holding something Suspects: Bubb Ram Strut Bananakin I hope this roundup was useful. Do we need to play any more cards despite the evidence presented thus far giving us what we need? -

Throughout the entire ordeal, I don't think we have had anyone try to falsify evidence in the clues, as we have had a very good record of making sure we have asked for duplicates. This includes Dark Ones. Sure, all of us who have put in clues could be Dark Ones, but at this point it is unlikely. -

My reply is the same as the second clue: The person seen fleeing the crime was wearing mostly white So all 3 clues have been verified. -

I know, just a figure of speech. Unfortunately I have to go get something to eat take leave of you all for an hour or so. Rest assured I will be back and hopefully by then I will have the witness information. -

I believe the only person who has yet to use their final card is Camanakin. -

Thank you for being so open, Bananakin. I had seen in def's end of day pics remember you holding that in our Town meetings. So that makes Bubb's accusation very hasty. The other thing is, Bubb, if you are convinced I am a Dark One and killed Mistress Kupp, and I can only kill one person, then logically, Mugg must then be the killer of Otaku. -

Rumble Strike replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Ah, I see. In that case I am obviously a suspect, along with Scotty (confirmed Town by Flutwick who was later killed), and Bubb himself, who is also holding something, from the images we have seen. However as this is a clue that cannot be added to (as by my count all witness cards have been played), I would ask that everyone left alive post up their full picture. That way there will be no hasty decisions taken based on insufficient evidence. -

A very hasty vote, Bubb. I was merely giving my opinion on why the other murders hadn't been immediately investigated. I think we can all agree that with so few cards remaining and only one person to lynch we need to work together to maximise our findings, which I am actually in the process of doing with Camanakin. Also I believe it has been stated before, but I do not think those who are pictured holding something are necessarily going to have used them as a weapon. -

That may have read like a request, but it wasn't. I was explaining my reasoning behind why I am doing it, and then just asking for a clue to the murder. I did not request a specific clue. -

OK, I have gone through the clues list for Roweena's murder and I think the next one is the "Mostly white clothes" one. So I shall play my last Witness card to confirm that so Camanakin can confirm the most important 3rd clue. I would like to investigate Roweena's murder.
