Okay, lets see: As an overall Marvel guy I will never touch any DC comic! :-P Okay, I am not THAT strange, maybe I will even get the TPB reprint of Miller's Batman the Dark Knight... If there is some money leftover, meaning probably not. :-P Nonetheless, here are my current ongoing- and mini-series' I am buying: Panini (Germany): [*]Spider-Man (monthly, collecting two Spidey issues per month, mainly Amazing SM) [*]Im Netz von Spider-Man (miscellanious Spidey-series, each Panini issue collecting four or five issues) [*]X-Men Sonderheft (misc. X-Men series, e.g. X-Men - The End) [*]X-Men (monthly, collecting four US issues each, Uncanny X-Men, X-Men, lately New Excalibur,...) [*]Spider-Man & die neuen R

I think its a good guess to say that there are two reasons for thise changes: a) Most of the catalogues (including and especially those for sellers at the (toy) stores) are printed months before the release of the actual set and therefore often only prototypes. b) TLC often can save a lot of money by changing subtle details. Maybe the black 1x2 grille in the cockpit would have to go 2 meters more way between the machine that produced it and the other one that puts in in the plastic bags than the 1x2 plate with one stud had. Not a big deal, maybe 1/100 ct cheaper this way (or whatever, have no idea about those things), but summing it up for all those many, many sets that are produced there comes together a nice amount of money you could afford some UCS Millenium Falcons for! ;-)

Eh, what are YOU doing at the SPACE forum???? *wacko* :-P BTW, my crew still lacks a great navigator, interested in sailing to Skandinavia, doing some robbery and then sailing to Hawaii and enjoying life??? ;-)

Vote for the domain name of the new Pirate LEGO Portal website
ApophisV replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
I voted for classic-pirate.com because it follows a logical AFOL system of theme related websites. I'm very sure m,any people that just discovered the AFOL community will try to type www.classic-pirate(s).com into their browser after discovering classic-space and classic-castle... Though I would go with an "S" at the end of the website since the theme is "Pirates" and not "Pirate"! -

Bricklink.com is your friend! :-P Honestly, the best way to make a great Pirate fig is to use proper Pirate parts. Those shouldn't be too expensive, for something like 5

Ts ts ts... Kids.. :-| (Wait! I'm younger than the "kid"! :-P) Nice collection room though, I imagine having something similar some time in the future too, only with the games replaced by lots of comic books! ;-)

After months of building nothing yesterday I started to build a decent blue dragon WITHOUT ARMOR from two Armored Ofnir Dragon sets... It's basically nothing more than the frame structure, the wings need to be redone (was running out of ball joints), the body itself has to be build and it needs its tail (without of those ridicolous tailwings from the original dragon)

A good question. For me, NO. Collecting LEGO and Comic books and purchasing sets from Mega Bloks or other brands from time to time for "scientific research" takes almost all of my money. Besides this little problem I haven't the space to display a Playmo collection. Finally I am not THAT interested in Playmo than I am in LEGO. Nonetheless I really enjoy looking closely at their sets because you can see so many cool details on them, even the smallest sets feature many great ideas! Purchasing Playmo as a gift is something different. If I had to get a present for a child my first choice would be buying a LEGO set (the half of my small brother's LEGO collection came from my birthday / easter / christmas presents). The second choice would surely be Playmo because of its great quality in material, creativity and playability.

I don't have to say anything in here, have I? :-P *looks forward to unpack all those sets and put up the displays in the toy store*

Dude!!! A SNES is a SNES and emulating it is blasphemic!!! >:-) Really, you need this cool retro console feeling, otherwise the games aren't fun!!! Oh, and add Zelda for SNES and the Gameboy (including this Super Gameboy module) to my list! ;-)
