  1. Great review 'WFang'. It is rather disappointing that TLG is making our gold pearl instead of chromed. That IS very lame. I would have bought this set alone had they been chromed. Too bad
  2. Another great MOC 'ab@hk'. Fantastic work on the scale and level of detail on this. I really enjoyed looking at these pics. Congrats on meeting Mr K.K. Kristiansen, must have been really neat! Can't wait to see your next masterpiece
  3. Interesting find. I suppose, after reading the other topics about an issue with this set, it makes sense. A few pieces and new instructions... I now really want this set for some reason
  4. Price you pay for "going green" Lame packaging but, I agree, at least start with track configurations. Keep in mind room for expansion (if avail). Try a few different track routes to see which optimizes room for building (assuming they are in the works). I know there is a program you can download that helps with large layouts. I can't get it on my MAC but, it looks good, I just can't remember what it was called. "Blue" something... I'll be going to the drawing board, literally, here in the next few months to re-redesign my layout. This time I'ma take some photos. Best of luck, show us how it goes
  5. Hello everyone, I am selling of a few items. They are adult owned, I am the second owner. They have been cleaned and are in like new condition. Full details in link. 1896 Trauma Team (1993) 8707 Boulder Blaster, Engineer (2 sided head) figure (2009) 8707 BB, 'Glaciator' figure If interested go here.
  6. Does anyone know the U.S. release date for this and what is its RRP?
  7. Great heavy hauler 'OoS' Fantastic job on this build. Love the triple axle design. Been wanting to MOC of one of those, or at least adding a third to the truck from the construction site or wind turbine transport. Anyway fantastic job, keep it up
  8. Recently I watched the time run out on 10190 Market Street on eBay. The final sale price was $731 + $25 shipping. I am not kidding. That is insanely high. Even though it was MISB, 800% increase seems a crazy price to pay. I understand that if you can afford to, and/or you really want this set NIB. What I'd like to know is, has anyone spent a ridiculous amount for a retired/new set and what you did with it? I couldn't imagine opening it after spending that but, then again why else would you never build it. Also, what do think will happen to the prices of MISB of modulars when they are a decade old? Please move topic if necessary.
  9. Great car 'Zblj' Very nice wok on its functions. The suspension is top notch
  10. Great precinct 'tellblom' Love the interior detail in and out, especially the forensics room. Very nice features on the exterior as well. Keep up the great work
  11. Bought 2 7994 flatbed truck w/ container, 2 3648 Police Chases, another E.Night, and 7238 Fire Helicopter w/ Res-Q life guard stand and suv for a couple bucks
  12. Great review 'Brickster'. I'm glad TLG is more or less remaking classic sets. This one looks average, not to much going on but, none the less I will definitely get one
  13. Great job on this rink 'E YA' It looks great. Can't wait to see more pics with full teams
  14. Great review 'buddy'. Definitely gonna get one of these!
  15. Great job finishing the the Opera House 'BadLeo'. The octopus is a nice funny addition Really great work!
  16. Awesome job on the vehicles 'Mifody' I WANT THAT BUS! I 'd love to see close ups of the black truck with the Lego sticker on it's hood. Keep up the great work!
  17. Figured Flickr out so here are my bikes. Unfortunately I just sold my 2000 GSX-R600 yesterday So here are the last shots next to my 2002 Specialized Enduro
  18. Thanks, I'd like a 1000 but, a 750 would be less expensive. Dream bike = Hayabusa Thanks for the reference!
  19. Neat MOC 'Etzel' Poor las, must be L.A?
  20. I gotcha on that, everyone has there own preference. Especially if there would only be a few (4w), sticking out like soar thumbs My 4w outnumber 6w, 4 to 1. Love the classics
  21. "I gonna drive, and I'ma go fast, and then, I'ma turn to the left leyeft" -Eric Cartman Couldn't resist when I saw the circle track... Chose the SFSC over powering the Maersk, that must be a first?? Neat job anyways. I do recommend starting with your train yard first, if that is going to be a larger concentrated mass of sets (compared to a train station or RR crossing). Makes it easier IMO. Keep up the great work!
  22. That is too funny Hope you received everything!
  23. Off to a great start 'Lt' I too am planning a dealership. No name brand just for the 'Small Car' collection almost complete... Will there be enough room for a car in the show room? Can't wait to see more progress
  24. My first/ current bike. 2000 Suzuki GSX-R600. Bought it at an auction with 13,000 miles, late 2007, replaced battery and got to figuring how to ride. Previous owner painted it and it just so happened to be the same color as my mountain bike. 15,xxx mi, no repairs or wrecks and wantinng a bigger bike. Or at least newer ... someday. Nothing like being on 2 wheels. If only this freakin rain would quit!
