  1. Awesome car 'Inquisito88' What do we have here, a Mercedes-Benz or Rolls Royce? awesome design, I really like the long front end and use of the chromed spears for bumpers. Great job, keep it up
  2. Wow, this is too cool and absolutely huge! Awesome build 'Legolas73'. Excellent work on detail, especially love the cafe. Really an all around great job, very impressive
  3. Great review 'RH'. I can't wait to get this set but, I have no idea where to put it. Like you said, the road should be above sea level, as all the other harbor sets have been This one will be tricky but, I think I'll manage. Thanks for reviewing it!
  4. Awesome work 'jaster'. I love the colors of Chessie engines! Take a trip to your local hobby shop or surf around online for Chessie stickers. I built one year ago and added stickers. Now all I need are orange bricks instead or red. Still yours looks awesome!
  5. Definitely, if it retails for $199 and you can get it for $20 It'll probably be a good build with only brick grip issues, common among MB. So forget swooshing it around Still it looks pretty neat even if it just sit on a shelf. Maybe you could even resell for a profit? It IS still better than that Enlighten crap...
  6. I also buy mainly city sets, however, I do buy sets from themes that can fit into my city. I have a couple Indiana Jones and numerous sets from the Adventurers and there subthemes, even a couple Power Miners. I've thought about the Medieval Market Village and Diagon Alley. Anything with cars, truck, boats, planes, or buildings.
  7. Awesome design 'bIG fM'. Very realistic, I'd love to see one for real. Is there a piece count?
  8. Great display 'AJ'. Love the train station and the new color of the E.Night. Great work
  9. Three small BL orders today
  10. Great train 'Rustie86'. Great design and build. Keep it up
  11. Great review 'mifody'. I highly anticipate getting this set, though I am definitely waiting for a discounted price. Anyone know how the size of this boat compared to the one from 1996?
  12. Excellent fleet 'RS'. The main truck looks awesome. Love the details especially the ladder boom. Great job, keep it up
  13. Great review 'RH'. Can't wait to order one on of these.
  14. Great job on this build 'RC'. Love the details inside. I really like the design of the ceiling fan, very clever. All around a great modular.
  15. Great tanker 'Selander'. Excellent work on the new truck
  16. I use scalding hot water with no problems, except on baseplates. They must have cold or luke warm. I don't use a stove or microwave to heat the water, just from the faucet. I have my best results mixing a couple shots of Dawn soap with a cherry car wash soap in an airtight tupperware. I use the carwash soap because it has a plastic protectant for bare plastic bumpers and trim. Plus it leaves a slight cherry smell to the pieces. Any carwash detergent would work though. Mix it all in, put a lid on and spin them around and let soak. Like 'Fred67' said retrowash> H2O2 Hydro-peroxide 3% + oxiclean/similar detergent (catalyst) = renewed yellowed pieces.
  17. Great pics everyone! Here is one of mine: road construction
  18. Great color change 'L@go' . It looks great in lime!
  19. Awesome build 'toorayay'. Terrific job on the detailed interior. I especially like the work on the barbershop. Very nice
  20. Great shop 'FC'. Love the detailed interior and excellent choice of the exterior. Very well done
  21. Lovely houses 'BcD'. Very quaint, love the detailed work. The green house is a nice touch. Great work
  22. Wonderful city block '74louloute'. Great architecture design and excellent work on the street. Very well done
  23. Great looking engine 'Nieks'. Wonderful details. The graffiti adds a nice urban touch. Keep up the great work
  24. I keep reading about the paradisa theme but, what about the other one that more or less replaced it. Bellville or Bellview? What happened to that. IMO it looked like a cross of Barbie and Lego. The figures looked to be 6 inches or so right?
  25. I third that. I have enough new sets to start a small market I spend about 6 hours or less building a week. Probably 2 in removing sets from my Lego room or sets from eBay and putting them in storage in the attic. 1-5 hours combined between eBay, EB, BL, BS daily. YouTube (Lego related) 0-2 hrs weekly. Probably would spend more time if I didn't have a social life
