Yeah, I couldn't find my white backround, so I just used the wall, and hoped the wood part would look like the desert stretching away. I'll do better in my next build. Thanks for the feedback!

Kawashita always needs to be looking for new angles, new resources, new tech, etc. Vollfort 2 by North White, on Flickr Today wasn't one of those days. Piloting Pathfinder -2 around basalt columns on Vollfort to scout for new resources proved fruitless for Captain Mesabi. Surveys revealed nothing but rock, dust, and dead critters. Vollfort 2 by North White, on Flickr Perhaps next week we'll find something of use. A shot of Pathfinder -2 https://www.flickr.c...eposted-public/

Hey, I'm sure this has been posted but I can't seem to find it, What are the rules on purity? Can I use any brickarms weapons on my fig? or is it strictly Lego brand pieces. Same goes for Stickers, I'd love to print out some Kawashita Logos for some tiles, but I don't know if it's allowed. Finally, Is the Kawashita logo stolen from Japan in Civ V?

It's way cheaper. Even used on bricklink is close to $1,000. I paid around $300 for parts, and another $100 for shipping. Still more expensive then the original price, but for a 14 year old set, I'm happy with it.

I recently finished bricklinking a UCS Death Star II, and finally got around to putting it up the pictures. https://www.flickr.c...th/27481130204/ Death Star photos by North White, on Flickr A shot of the front Death Star photos by North White, on Flickr Backside Death Star photos by North White, on Flickr A picture of the "Eye." I misordered 2x4 left wedges in dark grey, so I went with it Death Star photos by North White, on Flickr The lil' Super star destroyer included for scale. I modded it a bit because I didn't like the conning tower design with the binoculars. Overall, 10143 is a very fun build, and mostly uses cheap pieces. Mostly. I just went with a dark grey 10x10 dish on top because light grey is way pricey. Otherwise, the main problem was finding enough grey wings from the same seller. That and the fact that I ordered most of the parts at 1am after work, and so I messed up quite a few of the orders .

Has anyone suggested restricting Forum creation to Vassals and above? might stop some of the advert Spamming.

Rarest Color that's still in production?
Mesabi replied to Takanuinuva's topic in General LEGO Discussion
According to bricklink's colour guide, http://www.bricklink.com/catalogColors.asp , Chrome Green, Fabuland Orange, and Very Light Orange, are all tied at 1. There are several colours listed as having zero parts produced, (I'm guessing they're a part of non production parts http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=94037) so it depends on how you count it. -

No need to be hostile man, I didn't know what Tableau was until I googled it. I think your survey could use some work though. I have absolutely no idea how many sets I have, I've been collecting for at least 15 years, and most of it has been disassembled. And I never have bought a PaB cup, I just use bricklink. Just a few suggestions.

21309 NASA Apollo Saturn V (LEGO Ideas)
Mesabi replied to Blondie-Wan's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I don't get why this set is getting so little love. It's a giant rocket! It's Mankind's greatest achievement! It's like a meter tall! It's just as historical the beagle! I love it. -
I've been looking for a Lego Gas Mask so I can create a minifig based off my profile pic. The best I can find is at http://modernbrickwa....com/gas-masks/ but I'm not sure how they attach to Minifigs, (Like if I need a custom helmet as well) or if they are of good quality. Does anyone have any experiences with Gas Masks from MBW or know of another seller of Minifig Gas Masks?

Great MOC!, does it have an interior?

Call me a stick in the mud, but I kinda liked the old design better. It had an elegant simplicity to it. But I'm not sure if this is just me hating change. Either way, it still looks very nice.

The UCS Hype. What will 2017 bring? (40th Anniversary)
Mesabi replied to Major_Ton's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I'm kinda afraid to get on the hype train. Look what happened with http://brickset.com/sets/75098-1/Assault-on-Hoth We all got hyped about it, thinking it would be as good as the ewok village, maybe a new AT AT, and it ended up being a play set cobbled together out of the last 5 Hoth sets. And it was delayed for 3 months. -

Can someone point me to a list of all the Lego rail gauges? I've been looking for a list to compare them, but I can't seem to find anything. I just want to see a list kind of like this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Track_gauge only with Lego.- 578 replies

So, have they found the statue yet? It's been a month since this posted and I'm curious if it was recovered.

Finally Someone agrees with me! I had that set as a kid and had a ton of fun playing with it.

I think they're going for a playset vibe rather then accuracy. I mean its no where as good of a Tie advanced as http://lego.wikia.com/wiki/8017_Darth_Vader's_TIE_Fighter or even http://brickset.com/sets/75082-1/TIE-Advanced-Prototype
