Yeah, good question...! What you describe on both option are exactly the same thought I have... What you basically are looking for is a more flat part, more in scale as you wrote!

Well impressive and so far so good!!! I am not sure about both A and B having the same chassis in terms of what this competition is about. Even though I do agree with your argument. First glance of this project directly made me wonder what the B model would be like...
