I have to mention the 75091: Flash Speeder from last year. They caught the smooth curves very well & the color scheme of the seat section is phenomenal. You won't find many non moc sets with so little exposed studs. Besides to the back & the missiles the set reminds me of an UCS version, but it doesn't look absurd to put in minifigures. Other than that I feel like Carbon-Freezing Chamber & Mos Eisley Cantina are great designs as well. People ranted cause of the size problem - easy solved: Just buy 2-3 of them & other people can still enjoy "half the set" for less money. Just 2 bad about the missing characters.. I purchased the Z-95 Headhunter for just 20 $ - would have never bought it otherwise. Didn't like the design & didn't had sympathy to the CW. But after building it, the ship became my favourite set until today. Very smooth & flat, great colour scheme. The bombing function doesn't influence the design. & for 501 fans (or thoose of the Umbara episodes of CW) the figures are a must have.

The set uses big pieces, printing & includes 5 minifigures + 900 parts = 90 $ is not possible. Last year's exclusive set had just 4 figures & 660 parts. 120 is more realistic. If not even 130. -

Like the Assault Carrier the ship here looks better than the original (which is very plain) in my opinion. And it's again absurd how they gave Wookie's arm printing & Sato a special skin color - but not for the main cast. The minifigure selection shows how much the designers had no idea about Rebels. And no - "it's for kids - is no explanation since little fans of the show will be desperate for the Inquisitor's, or Ezra with his scar. Lando, Seventh sister, Tuula, other rebels, Leia, Kezu, Hondo - I just hope that we will ever see these figures. Because of the new movies, unfortunately we can't expect the same attention as CW got. If the interior is good (conference room?) & Ahsoka is too, I will buy the set for her. -

Did you see the set in person? ;) I thought so too, because of the pictures. However, if you have the ship in front of you, you'll see: the two solar panels are waaaay too close to each other. I compared it with several images & models - even measured the length difference of the windshield & the structure between the panels & cockpit. The problem is simply that they didn't use enough pieces. Everything aside the cockpit is shrinked down which causes very strange proportions. Guess most people will still be satisfied - just wanna warn you if you're as picky as me ;) About the question relating the exclusive set: Last year we received pictures of the set at march (!) & better pictures at april/may. -

The voice actor of Kanan mocked people who belive the news with the three seasons & said that there will be much more. Seems solid because investment. But Some people know better I guess. btw: I got the T-Advanced vs. A-Wing set today - the pictures of Vader on the box are indeed wrong. He he's the same figure from the final duel, but with an EP IV/Rebels torso AND the new style cape. So he can fit in the cockpit with his cape aaand it also makes him bigger . I would buy the set again simply because of the great figures & because I love OT ships - however if you just want to buy it because of the T-Fighter I wouldn't recomment it. It's extremely sized down, looks more like the chibbi version from the Death star (no jocking). I also thought they finally got rid of all the dark grey stuff - the bottom is nearly completely dark grey. It took me hours of modding until I fixed the colours & the size problem. But from the front the ship would still look better with the wings attached to the "body" of my T-Prototype (also modded into complete light grey). the back & underside of the build is as simple as sets released 8 years ago. It's a huge shame since the set is very overpriced (even for SW standards) & just includes 4 figures (& no helmet or arm printing for Sabine). The A-Wing is a great & fun build, but the engines tend to move where they want. I really enjoy that they included a female pilot (the 2nd "random" female we ever got in a Lego set!!). The Tarkin face printing also looks great in person - btw: he has 2 different facial expressions - one is his "pissed off" look. So if you want an accurate T-Advanced - wait for 3-10 years, or mod the Inquisitor's TIE. -

So Vader uses the new soft cape (which also makes him bigger..) AND has leg printing? If that is the case the box art pictures were taken from the wrong prototype minifigure. Nevertheless - It would make me love this great & super overpriced set even more.. Hope we'll see reviews of the sets soon - I will upload pictures of the sets as soon as I see them in stores here in Germany. -

Why so serious about that? Just check all Lego-selling stores regularly & you might get lucky. For instance - I do that, despite the strange looks I receive & got sets I would have never bought otherwise: Tyderium for 30 $ a few weeks ago, Z-95 for 20 $. Especially because of the 3rd wave we received last year, many stores (at least where I live..) were overwhelmed and threw the sets from former waves out of the window (metaphorically speaking). So what about the Ahsoka set? Is it 100 % sure that she will reuse her old mold? Maybe the person has the information just saw a prelim? -

Why is the gender a problem? I don't get the whole Rey hating. Compared to Luke (who was not that good written and played) she may had her issues (like real issues; waiting 20 years for her parents to come back wth!?). But take a cloes look at Kylo Ren: The menacing mysterious and invincible villains (Vader! Maul, Emperor! ) belong to the biggest inspirations from cinema & were the driving the story. And all we get in TFA is an emotional whiney emo kid with daddy issues . 2nd time watching I had to leave the cinema because of this bad written piece.... *ranting mode deactivated* trailer: Unfortunately we didn't get to see any new spaceships. Hopefully Mon Mothma will get her 2nd figure -

The main reason for this is probably that we see much more females (in better roles) since Rebels & TFA. That's great for me, since I try to retain my 50/50 rebel army. Another A-Wing in one wave? Don't forget, it would even be 85 % the same colour, they'd just swap the dark green parts out with blue. Plus - this new A-Wing has much more parts, it would cost around 40$. Buying both - this and Vader's overpriced 90$ set seems like a very bad deal. There just so many interessting sets they could make: 1. Ketsu's ship - awesome design, great bounty hunter figure, around 100-120 $ 2. grey/blue blockade runner - didn't get one of those for like 10 years. However very unlikely since it would have to cost 150$. 3. Red B-Wing - this would've at least a different colour (not just different markings) and a slightly different design than the last one. 4. fandom set: small build of the Jedi or the Sith temple ( ). -

I tried that too but didn't like the look. Maybe with a few modifications it could work? Unfortunatly the bike - as a bike - is very impractical, but it looks good for display. The thing that bugs me most is Nya's generic City face. That is just sooo wrong I know it has been mentioned before, but do we have information now about the minifigures included in the two missing sets? At the toy fair display they didn't show us all figures. So could it be possible that we get Skylor or throwback Nya in the temple grounds set? -

Don't we all? The only reason why I didn't buy the bounty (which I think is the best set ever) was it's size - 85 % of my cupboards are already filled with Lego.. Posession destiny's bounty?! u should make some MOC thread for that ;) Anyway; I don't get why we didn't receive any more information about the two missing summer wave sets until now (besides to price and name)? Normally that's just the case with the one exclusive set -

Everything related to no-name soldiers in SW is cannon fodder Unfortunatly they don't have enough screen time to introduce the rebels a bit more. btw: Currently we have no news about the Rebels set including Ahsoka - by now we should've at least gotten some info about price, the build, minifigs etc. I'm starting to think such a set does not exist However there will be an exclusive set, probably again about 100 $ The Jedi temple from the next episodes would be awesome but very unlikely. Any ideas, other than an A-Wing or a B-Wing? -

The A-Wing vs. T-Fighter set is awesome. First (generic) female pilot, EP IV Vader Torso, detailed Sabine Torso & finally Tarkin! But the set is 10 dollars more than usually & still misses Sabines helmet wth?! Not giving us the helmet in a 25 set is one thing, but this time TLG crossed the line. The A-Wing is very detailled - Vader's ship probably the most simple SW build in years. However I'm just happy that they didn't screw up with so much dark grey, like they did on all previous T's. So it's kind of perfect, just the back could have used a more advanced build. btw: Does anyone of u know why there are 2 rubber bands on the base of the A-Wing? Love the Eclipse. The first set of this price that uses such advanced building techniques. - The female Dark Side User wears a new soft cape (first ever in dark blue) & got some kind of faceprinting. Or she's an alien. Can u guys make out if she wears a mask on the second face? - Dengar is a huge improvement to the last version from the Executor. Even his speeder is nice. Splitted about the AT-TE - like Sabine theese figs just would have needed arm printing. Otherwise they look fine, but then again I miss Wolffe's hair & of course their helmets... Interior is not detailed at all, but like the exterior something u could upgrate yourself (like I "built" a sickbay, machine room & Vader's Room in the last ISD. Overal the wave is a step back from the great builds last year (except the Naboo SF). I'm just glad we got Vader's T with little dark grey, female pilot, Sabine & Tarkin in one set. -

Actually the only legal right a company has on this board is when it's about premilary pic's or data from illegal purchased goods. And still there would be a lot of ways.. Everything else is websites & it's community fulfilling a companies wishlist. But I kind of enjoy the name game for wannabe Vader's ship, Indiana Jones without hat etc. About the review: great to see clearer pictures. However would it may be possible that you upload more details about the minifigures? (2nd faces, Finn's hairmold etc.). -

Kim-Kwang-Seok replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Of course this is about freedom (even if it's just LEGO). I get the thing with the premlim & pictures of stolen goods. I don't like that the internet "bends it's knees" to companys, but I can live with that. Forbidding us to talk about the names, set numbers etc. - it's freakin ridicolous. It's like closing this thread until it's unimportant. What's next? "Hey EB can't you just erase some thread's? Disney doesn't like them". If you wanna delte my account - fine. If everybody'd just ignore these rules You'd have to ban them all. Maybe they already reched their goal because now we're not talking anymore about the actual topic. So: I like Kylo Ren's command shuttle much more than when I saw the leaked picture. However the FO Navy troopers are looking far worse - compared to their imperial ancestor. Plus Kylo Ren's design is just to inaccurate. Even if movie & character will be great - there are just sooo many flaws: - clothes should be brown - the plain black makes it look like another character - armprinting would have been cool - Vader's new mask is too big. But his mask was also too big in the movies. With the new villan on the other hand it's just way over the tolerance limit. - the wrong colour of his mask is the worst thing - lightsaber - I just hope he looks better with the hood on. At least the front face is definitively the mask printed on a minifig head. - which could lead to the problem that he will be one of the smallest figures No shame to TLG - I guess they had to work with old concepts again. -

The Falcon is basically a rehash. They really had the chance to give us a new cockpit. Even if the price won't be thaaat high.. best thing would be if we don't go with the hype & instead buy really well done incarnations of current sets. Cause I'm sure there'll be a huge discount for Tyderium & Co. I mean just compare the difference between Tyderium & older version to the new & the last Falcon.. The X-Wing is the only craft which captures the SW style & gets improved (like the colors or not). The new designs are interessting.. They remind me off other scifi stuff & mocs. In defence of the FO Transporter: it contains important figures and uses it's space (box) - nearly all LEGO SW sets are one/two seeters with most parts built into aestethics. Overall I personally prefere the aesthetic SW style. I want my T-Fighter's to stay be grey -

- I also recommend you to look for the sets on ebay to get more information. - This German website gives us the best look to the pictures. From the desctiption you can interpretate some information: - Rey's speeder includes 2 "trapdoors" for the crate plus detail on the inside. It seems like there is a "turning" mechanism to open it up. - The backside of the T-Fighter is also covered by this round windshield piece. - the round piece on the side of the FO Transporter controls the loading ramp. - the blasters of the rebels are in some "titanium" color. - you can take off the "roof" easily. - as some folks mentioned before; it also got invisible wheels. - the big ugly box next to the hatch is actually the cockpit - one figure can fit inside. However the set doesn't include a pilot. - the FO Officer from Kylo Ren's "AT-AT head with wings each worth 30 bucks" is an older female. - probably white binoculars - description says it can be opened from the front, back & the downside - whatever that means. I guess we'll have a ramp which means it needs some landing gear. - There's some storage inside & - like with Tyderium - some "furniture" on jumperpieces. However I cannot make out for WHICH stuff. I'd speculate you have more missiles on the inside. - However there's definatly not to much place for figures inside. My guess would be 3 seats. Falcon: - Description tells us about the exact same features from the last version. - Pretty sure there is no escape pod (again) + storage for missiles + it says something about cabels. Hopefully not just a sticker. -

X-Wing: + interessting color pattern! + awesome helmets - 2nd pilot misleads to be a female, but pretty sure it's not - If Feminism didn't catch the FO we'll only get Rey - twisted front wings could look bad - At least the whole front part is built the exact same way as the last version. That's not accurate - the new version in "reality" didn't just change wings & engine. Falcon: + the "tubes" on the side of the Falcon look much better + the round front things look much better + finally we'll get a hairpiece for Africans! Diversion! + + + It is in fact flatter - which is extremly important for the overall looks. How cool this could be also depends on the ground section. - otherwise it ain't so different - to much dark grey could destroy the color pattern (like the last T-Fighter (basic color light grey) or the Ghost (basic color white) - - big, big gaps between the top parts! - - - very, very disappointing: The cockpit is as awful & unpractical as it was before! Why not an exclusive molding?! Depending on interior, features, ground & back section - they did at least a decent job, but worst case you can pass it. The last 2 versions can easily be modified. Also Finn will appear in other waves. He's the 2nd main character The figures clothes are mostly inaccurate. No offense to Lego, they had to produce this stuff some time ago with wrong concepts. But why spend money on things you can do better yourself? I'll buy Rey & Finn in a cheap set - already made accurate bodys for them & modifying my old Falcon is always fun I like the sets but I won't buy them just because of hype. I look more forward to a Blockade Runner & Vader's T from Rebels. -

..& Football is all about adult men with very long socks running after a round thing. If that was your point - you're correct & it was kind of funny to read. But it's reasonable people interpretate your post the way they did Playing with plastic toys just isn't as popular as running after round things - or starring into an electric box for hours So please forgive us our complexes Wow that was offtopic! About the Hoth set: I'm afraid there isn't too much about it other than a modern combination of 3-4 standard price basic hoth sets.. Stuff like the Ion Canon will drive the piece count up But still it's always awesome to make our favourite ground battle scene bigger & better! The female soldier also doesn't look like Leia to me! -

By the way it'd be very interessting to see how much percent of the actual sales come from "real collectors" - like us. Why should the Lego company care that much about all these details & high quality standards, if not for us? About Captain Phasma It's quite possible Lego didn't work with the latest concept art. That happens from time to time cause they have to start designing & producing much erlier. This could also effect the spacecrafts. What bothers me a lot (altough I was expecting it) is the black head I'd have bought the Set including Phasma just to get the headpice
