  1. Welcome to Eurobricks! Enjoy your time here
  2. That is a very lovely garden, I especially like the way you did the overgrown wall. Nice story too Btw, dragons from the Rakath... Yeah, I've heard of those... http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=114092&hl=%2Btouring+%2Bdragon
  3. 'Grand' is certainly the right word for the entree you made here! Beautiful writing and a very neat gate with scene. Great work, please keep it up!
  4. Magnificent work! One of the best ice- and snowscapes I have ever seen and the crystal fortress itself is superb as well! Amazing job
  5. So, now we're at it, when would the Nocturnus challenge start? I heard something about it several weeks ago, but then came the Pie contest proposal (I believe that was me, btw ) and it's been quiet since. And how about the Frozen Beyond contest? The thread is closed, so I'm asking this here. Does anyone have an an idea when the judging will start (or be finished)? Edit: Nevermind about the last bit, I just saw Ecc's update in that thread
  6. My main points of criticism are the low resolution and the quite strong presence of your breath throughout the video. Other than that, I think this review (and the others you've put up) is fine.
  7. Great banner, I'm curious to see what this foreshadows...
  8. Thanks for the review! I didn't know of this set before this video and it's indeed a fantastic set
  9. Very realistic and and truely beautiful! A build to drool over and dream away, longing for the tranquilty of the Pacific
  10. Beautiful work, but the verse is great as well. Good old Mr. Thunder... He sure has a nice place to display all of his great travelling adventure treasures, and a lovely fireplace to sit by comfortably
  11. Totally agree with DraikNova, awesome work! Perfect
  12. I'm not sure what the rumoured minifigs were for the Samurai X cave set, but for some reason I only just realized (silly me!) that it must have Nya, it's her cave afterall. So here's what I think: In this split wave, there is a strict Airjitzu-'Throwback' variant separation between the two parts. On top of that, Airjizu Nya appeares in three sets allready, one of which is the Light house Defence in this same summer wave. Finally, if they include her Airjitzu variant, it would make her the only character (besides Chen) to not get a new version in the Rise of the Villains wave part. So, in other words, I think it's highly likely that there will be a new Nya and I'd love that. I wonder what it would be, though. 'Throwback' is likely, but people have been screaming for the Rebooted robes and maybe it's something else, like a half ninja-half samurai.
  13. I feel the same way. I really don't understand how this is profitable, assuming more kids than adults play LEGO Dimensions. Besides, I'm starting to feel like it is getting 'contaminated' with (more or less useless) licences. I think it would be better to have more (of) original LEGO themes in Dimensions
  14. Just a small week to go before we find out, probably!
  15. I agree, you did a much better job on this one. I do agree with Titus about altering the houses (you obviously made one house with two stalls in front and then coppied it two times), altering the stalls would help too. However, you did well on the the minifig posing; it is fairly natural and lively Aside from altering things, I think the street itself could still use a lot of work. Texturing with 1x2s, 2x2 and 1x1 square and round tiles in different shades of grey for example. Maybe you could add a lantern here and there.
  16. Masterful is really the word to use here! The lavender tree is magnifiscent and the base with it's vegetation and irregular sharing is beautiful too!
  17. I wouldn't mind getting a variant like that
  18. Thank you! That character from the sticker book is awesome! If they go the sea monster route, they should do a NEXO-Viking ship or a NEXO-submarine!
  19. Wait.... Is that an official Skylor hairpiece?
  20. Could you provide a clear picture of the battle station and the real lego parts, please? I'm contemplating buying something at S@H, so I'd like to see if this is a good bonus.
  21. Thanks, John! On a side note, I don't understand why I'm getting so little feedback (6 replies up to this point) on this. I really appreciate the feedback I did get, but it's unusual for a big contest entry to gets so little comments, that I'm starting to feel there must be something inherently wrong with it. Is it entirely inappropriate for the contest, maybe? Please, any extra tips or tops would be greatly appreciated!
  22. Nice rock formation, indeed it has something mysterious to it. The only thing I would have done differently is how the upper end of the boulder rests on the rock; it just doesn't look sturdy enough to be realistic. On second thought, your choice might have something to do with keeping that cheese-slope horizontal. Explains the 'slippery stone' part
  23. Old news! it's from the Ghost wave, but also it's still from the replacement parts service. Rebooted torso's are also still 'available'.
  24. Perfect! Pretty accurate and I love the seats with the Earth Blue and Keetorange colours. I do agree about the exposed studs underneath, but that can be resolved easily. Great work
  25. The vision your backstory creates is something to dream of by itself! The build is fantastic, flawless! The flora is definitely a highlight and something I think is notable too is Sand Green as ground cover colour, very nice. Outstanding build overall
