  1. Knock-offs and advertising your channel, not cool
  2. I really like that warrior, great fig! As the others have said already, your ground experiment turned out successful
  3. Just imagin a BoM key chain...
  4. Nice, appropriately clean build. I can't really lay my finger on what I particularly like about it, but it has a great atmoshere for sure
  5. I see... Lord Krell had some admireable Soul Magic too! Great to see the leader of the Resistance back in the flesh, well played... As the others have already mentioned, the floor is great. The pool of blood is nice too.
  6. The intensity of this battle is obviously clear, epic scene(ery)! Many great figures, including the "King of the Snakes", Eothain, the man-bats and the werewolf standing near the tree. Great army building, also. A great wrap-up of your story!
  7. Lovely figure throughout the scene, the façade looks good as well!
  8. Your previous swamp builds inspired me recently to try to do one myself, but this one proves that you have refined your skills even further, and that I have a very long way to go I'm still in love with that tree design, but the rest of the swamp and the woodwork on the towers looks equally fantastic Besides that, the story was a very good read Keep up the good work!
  9. Another beautiful build of yours! The subtility and finesse of the interior is splendid Also, congratulations on reaching the Guilds's Weekly! I waited with commenting until I had time to read your story, and that was worth it. I'm back up-to-date with the ongoing tensions in the Darklands; with the Drow, Black Spire and the Desert King... As always, I'm looking forward to your next build
  10. Thank you! Actually, the base is black and the leaves are dark green (it was very sunny when I took pictures ), since I don't own enough dark green to do the base in that colour. The roof was fun and challenging, but in the end it's all legally constructed (I really value that!) Btw, I'm already building for the next episode!
  11. One of the many Mobile Suit Gundam series maybe?
  12. A rather nice storage cave you've got there! The choice for crouch-height inside is a good one, I think. I don't remember seeing something like this before, nice idea and solid execution.
  13. I think this is a good idea. Many sagas keep a list at the beginning of each episode for all previous ones, so putting up a list is little work. In my opinion, it's important for the readers that there is a clear starting point and that you can click your way through, as opposed to having to go back to the list in the saga thread after every episode. Maybe it would be nice then to have a place dedicated to the discussion of the different sagas, especially for completed ones or older episodes of ongoing ones, because commenting on those can be inconvenient, and also because discussion can stimulate people to continue reading/writing.
  14. I had a great secondhand bargain last week: City of Atlantis for only €30! Went to a retail store along the way there, where I bought some CMF 15 bags with the feel method: not dissappointed @BrickJagger: two fine substitutes for Mr. Gold for me
  15. All I can see is a Link headmold and Goku hair!!! Jk, many more good stuff to be seen here: Syndrome, Malifiscent and Ursala are just amazing! Great pieces. Others are fine, not that useful to me, but really quite accurate overall. I like how this series covers the varied scope of Disney animations so much. I'm fairly sure this series will prove WAY more popular than the Simpsons, especially here in Europe.
  16. Incredible, amazing, excellent!!! Where should I begin? Let's start with the base: beautiful irregular shaping, great use of stud-on-the-side construction. The huge footprints are a fantastic touch! The rock pillars are great as well. The olive green part behind the 'entrance' could use some more texturing though, as it looks a little too studded. Then, the Tyrannosaurus! I FREAKING LOVE IT!!! That is, together with the.. eh.. structure you put on top of it. The ragged capes, bones, skulls, banners and what-not give it a fantastic look! And to top it off: great figs with awesome posing! The crushed skeleton in the pool of blood with escaping soul is a really spot-on! I look forward to the next part of this build
  17. Eh what!? Doesn't really sound like a novelty to me given Ninjago started with cards that could be exchanged and were the basis for a game xD
  18. Wow, a lot of building activity all of a sudden! Here is a new Exetrius Saga episode (3): Equipment Upgrade I updated my sigfig too:
  19. Exetrius Saga 1: Fallen leaf 2: Message in Kyrrath Episode 3: Equipment Upgrade Ever since he departed from Kyrrath, Exetrius had been thinking about the message from his father. It raised all sorts of questions; why did his father want him to stay away from the business in the North? The Algus were being defeated throughout Historica, did they really still pose a threat? Was the great Onicius severely underestimating the power of his own son? Or was there something else going on in the North... something so important, secret and dangerous that this was a protective, fatherly measure? The letter raised questions, but didn't contain a single clue, so it seemed. He had wondered what the right course of action should be. Along the way, he realized that his father had never prevented him from going somewhere after he had reached adulthood. His father wasn't the type of person to joke around, so he probably had good reasons for this. Besides, an unprepared adventure to Mitgardia and the Frozen Beyond would most likely result in death. Even if he were well-prepared (i.e. with enough food, winter-proof clothing, good battle equipment, a traveling companion), it would take take days or weeks to get there, while his father might have already finished the job and returned home. Despite his burning desire to seek for the truth, Exetrius had decided that it would be wisest to return to headquarters in Zotharith. While crossing the Moruth Swamplands, he encountered a hut that appeared to be a potion shop, as far as he could tell from the sign above the door. It looked vaguely familiar. If the owner could make a living of selling his wares in this wilderness, that should mean the offered goods are of great quality, he reasoned. Time to have a closer inspection! As he walked up to the door, a creaky voice cried: "Only good stuff! Come in! Rraah!" Slightly reticent, he entered. A smile of relief came to his face: it was only a parrot. From somewhere behind a curtain in the back of the hut, a dark voice muttered and footsteps neared. Yoba "Ah Chico, we have another one! Let's hope he brings us a bag of money.. Welcome to Yoba's Shop, traveler! Looking for somth...? A small head stared a him in silence for a moment, glanced back at something behind the curtain and then again at Exetrius. Yoba "I can't believe my eyes... It's.. our lucky day, Chico!" Exetrius "Uhm.. Pleased to meet you, I think?" Yoba "There is no doubt, you must be the son of Onicius! I am sincerely honored with your visit, sir! Is there something particular with which I can be at your service?" Exetrius "Well, actually I was just looking around for a little... but I don't have much to..." Yoba "I can offer runes, potions, weapons.. enchantments, eh armour, also!" Exetrius "Ah, I'd like to see what kind of armour you have in store." Yoba "But right away, m'lord! I will be back in a moment." He disappeared behind the curtain again. Funny guy... little old Yoba, Exetrius thought to himself. He looked around in the shop. Interesting stuff... The labels weren't all that trustworthy to his eye, though. Suddenly, someone tapped him on his shoulder. He turned around and found his sister, smiling brightly, right in front of his nose. It was bewildering to find her here! He hadn't seen her for a while, since she had been doing an intensive training on martial arts and assassinations with the 'Black taskforce', somewhere outside headquarters. Some small talk followed, and then he informed her about the letter. She happened to know that there was nothing unusual to remark in Zotharith, a few days back... strange! Yoba returned. He had clearly heard the conversation, as he carried a whole pile of goods with him; armour of different types, weapons, cloakes, gloves, everything helpful to survive an ice age in the North of the Beyond; it was a rather comic sight. In the end, Exetrius left in a new attire (not sure if it was useful or not, but hey.. it was a bargain!), with a handful of runes and an upgraded staff from some special type of wood, and his sister with a kind of hammer that he offered her at the last minute. They waved him goodbye and together they continued on their way to Zotharith. To be continued.... in the next episode: Subjection of a legend Hello folks, I'm back with a build! My first swamp build, mostly inspired by of my fellow Nocty guild members. C&C very much appreciated!
  20. Oh snap, I have no idea! I'm not that much into modern setting animes. From my first impression, I'd say from the early 2000's.
  21. To me, animes are an important inspirational source for MOCs, so I would like to share that by trying to stick with screenshots of epic moments, beautiful settings or great characters. Here's another one to guess:
  22. After Pythor got his hands on all the Fang Blades, he placed them in a golden staff: (sorry for the large image, but it's not on Flickr and I don't know how to resize it)
  23. Haha, best thread I've seen today! +1 But, if you would excuse me, I will now continue with the build I was working on yesterday (when I procatinated finishing it )
  24. Bingo!
