Images are up on TLG's servers: Most important thing is that Thrawn has dark red eyes!
-
I am shocked that someone was able to get ahold of these sets so early... there's still more than a month until they're supposed to release! What's the point of even having a release date if stores are just going to put the sets out insanely early anyway?
-
As others have said, the prices were leaked in this very thread along with the initial preliminary images. Obviously they're not 100% official, but I'd be shocked if they were any different.
-
Yep. Microfighters and Battlepacks are the same price that they've always been. Rest of the prices are as follows: Yoda's Jedi Starfighter - $25 Duel On Naboo - $25 The Phantom - $30 Battle On Scarif - $50 Y-Wing Starfighter - $60 All prices are in USD. If anyone knows what the prices are in other currencies, feel free to chime in.

This is a huge thing that a lot of people somehow missed - just because the images themselves are high-resolution, and technically "official" does not mean that they were released in an official manner. They're still leaks, and this exact same thing has happened every year in recent memory without fail. Also, there's the fact that some of these sets are releasing much sooner than the SW wave, such as the LEGO Batman Movie sets.

Absolutely fantastic minifig; looks even better than I thought it would. The entire Rogue One lineup is just so solid it's unbelievable.

Bricks & Pieces order came in today - excited to finally be able to show off my imperials: From left to right: Admiral Conan Antonio Motti, High General Cassio Tagge, Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin, Director Orson Krennic, Colonel Wullf Yularen, Governor Irina Spalko Arihnda Pryce, and General Moradmin Bast. Really happy with the way all of these turned out, although I will continue to update them as I get ahold of more pieces. Tarkin and Bast are especially unfinished, but I used the cheapest options available to get a decent result. As a bonus, here's all of them displayed in 10188: And you'll notice that there's one seat left to fill... perhaps reserved for a certain Grand Admiral.

New trailer is here! This movie looks absolutely incredible.
-
Looks like you got your wish: Trailer is absolutely incredible, by the way. I cannot wait for this movie!
-
That's not really true... all of the vehicles have appeared in trailers and other promotional material, even Krennic's Shuttle. Based on what we've seen so far, I'd say the sets are extremely accurate, which is more than one could say for the first TFA wave. Regardless, the sets themselves are great and I don't think it particularly matters if the movie is out yet.

Here's an interesting little tidbit of info that I found - the astromech droid included in the Y-Wing set is going to be R2-BHD: Image was taken from right here.

Yeah, that set surprised me as well - I was honestly expecting it to be my least favorite set of the wave, mainly due to the price and lack of main character minifigs. However, the build was extremely fun and somehow nostalgic to me, probably because of the fact that it used so many brightly colored bricks on the inside, much like classic SW sets. The sand blue also reminds one of the liberal use of blue in much older TIE sets, although this time it's much more subtle and works a lot better. It definitely helps that I like the in-universe design, but it's so well captured in the set. As a result, I think it's the nicest looking and most well-realized TIE to date. Now I think the entire RO wave is ridiculously solid and I don't have a least favorite. They're all fantastic sets, in my opinion.

They missed it on Bodhi Rook's figure, too. I pointed out in another thread that it's baffling that they could print the Imperial crest onto K-2SO's shoulders, but not do arm printing on some of the figures that could've really benefited from it. I also find it strange that they can seemingly do more detail in Polybag figures, such as C-3PO or the First Order General. Wonder why that is.
-
Didn't we already figure that out a couple of pages ago? Speaking of which, here's how the disguised Jyn figure will likely look: (Hopefully we'll get that hairpiece or something similar as well; it's weird that they didn't include it in the U-Wing)
-
Not sure if this counts, but I gave Jyn Erso printed legs from TFA Han as well as the female Resistance Soldier's hair: The fact that we're having to "update" minifigs that just came out is a little unfortunate, but I suppose it's all we can do. As for the other RO figures, most of them are fantastic actually, but I really feel like Bodhi Rook would benefit massively from some arm printing. If they can print the Imperial crest on the end of a bar for K-2SO's shoulders, surely they could've put it on Bodhi's arms. Sometimes TLG's decisions are baffling.

Found this on Reddit, not my image. If you need more pics, I have the AT-ST coming in from Amazon pretty soon, although I'm sure someone else would be able to do it before then.
-
Agreed. It's baffling and a little ridiculous that Jyn Erso doesn't have leg printing, for example. Her minifigure looks extremely plain without it, especially with the poncho on.

Got you covered. Also included 8096 & my modded 75104 as I had them on hand. Pics are a bit crappy, but hopefully they'll work.

I do, too. I had pointed out awhile ago that we hadn't ever seen paneling detail of that caliber before. It looks fantastic, and it's my most anticipated set in a good while. I really wish my local stores would just put the sets out already. Other stores in the US don't seem to have a problem with doing so.
-
I'm pretty sure that they don't, which I believe would make them the non-commando variant, but of course it's still prelim and is subject to change.
-
You're right to a certain extent, but we can certainly derive a decent amount of information from trailers, teasers, interviews, and promotional images. Based on what we have so far, it's reasonable to assume that Stormtroopers will appear in very large numbers, whereas Death Troopers are going to be a much smaller squad of elite troopers. That said, I still think the distribution in the Battle Pack is good, especially considering that most people won't buy a massive amount of them. It'll still be possible to build a sizable army of Stormtroopers if one wishes to, though. Their presence in the Battle Pack should bring down the Bricklink prices by a large margin.
-
Take a closer look, it's not a tile - it's clearly a 2 x 1 Curved Slope piece. TLG has never put printing on one of those, AFAIK.
-
The prices have already been confirmed by CM4Sci, though... the Y-Wing is $60, and the Bunker Battle is $50.
-
I'm very happy with the prices for the Bunker Battle & the Y-Wing. Cheaper than I was expecting. The Rogue One subtheme as a whole seems to be priced exceptionally well, making all of the sets instant-buys for me, personally. Couldn't have asked for a better outcome.

There was, though... 75148 & 75149 were both released in June. I'd expect to see at least one Rogue One set for the Summer Wave this year.
