the pillars and the roof are amazing First of all it's a nice replica of a famous scene of the great fantasy saga. the playability of the MOC is great and you combined a few different ideas in one set. You seem to be a great fan of the saga.

That's my first 2016 MOC. As you can see in the 1st picture, one unlucky night a redcoats' frigate was sailing the seas. The watchman in the crow's nest saw a small boat with a couple of pirates and a strange creature. It was a golum. (picture #2). The crew took the strangers on board the ship. But alas!.... In the morning - all the crew members became skeletons (pictures 3, 4, 5). And the captain became the most scary 4- armed skeleton! Even the ship became a see monster with a dragon's head and tail at the back. Why, to your mind, all that happened? Hope you like my story and creation. I'm eager to know your opinion of my Sea Man's Story and my LEGO Ideas projects, too. C&C are welcome. I think my LEGO comics are ilustrated with the most awesome LEGO creations I could find.

The set that inspired you is awesome. That's a nice small set for ninja fans! And though I prefer ninja of 1990-s, I like yours. Is master Wu meditating? The pond is nicely done.

I really enjoy your diarama. Before the first LEGO Pirates sets were issued, LEGO Castle was the most impressive series of all. And your marvelous, classic looking creations proves - why. The combination of stone and wood looks great. I like some of your ideas. Try to add a story.

I like the witches spoiling the broth. Is this a scene from "Macbeth"? -

As far as I know, LEGO City was the first theme series - even before mini figures. And it's still popular because much is needed in a city: railway stations, shops etc. So your project would be a pearle of any city. I like the playability of your creation How long did it take you to creat such a detailed city diarama? -
Hi, LEGO pirates fans. This is my entry fot 8x8 MOC Unlucky pirate Once upon a time a pirate sailed so far away that he came across some training equipment for martial arts. He decided he was too cool to train on a bridge with Japanese lanterns. But there lived a hungry Crocodile under the bridge so he had the pirate's leg for dinner! It happened because the equipment rotates when you strike the shields with dragons and you should avoid the sticks with the shields. The pirate failed. Somewhat later he came back to the island with his pistol to revenge. I hope you like the creation and the story. By the way, Bruce Lee had such equipment, too. (In a famous movie and later in a Sega video game 1993). The only 8x8 base plate I have is blue, so it is for water. The pirate is from series 14. The vignette would suite Pirates series. Here is the link for the pictures. I hope moderators will upload them here as my Sunset Mirage. http://www.us.lego.com/en-us/gallery/ee9a639f-e3d7-4f55-91ce-f77da40c1f25?index=1

The base plate is 8 by 8. Trees can be 2 studs aside. Can somebody's tail (a crocodile's or Jubba's) be 2 studs aside? There is no space enough for a crocodile even diagonally. -

It's a little bit too motley, especially the foliage. I quite agree with all that - it's a real diarama, well done. Keep on building.- 14 replies

Eurobricks Mega Building LEGO CMFs Contest 2016
Staslegomaster replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Hi, WhightFang and LEGO fans. The last contest on your sight I participated in, it wasn't allowed to upload MOCs uploaded somewhere else before. I always have problems with data size. You usually allow less than 100 KB while I can have 125-130 KB (it's good for LEGO Galleries). May I first upload my vignette in LEGO Galleries and then give you the link for the contest? Or do you accept 130 KB? -
[MOC] The Devil Lady - new ship for the redcoats
Staslegomaster replied to Dreamweb's topic in Pirate MOCs
And the red zombi captain of CMF series 14 will fit well as a captain or a captive. Good luck. -
A nice idea to combine the 2 sets but the result is even better. What about adding 70409? You've been avoiding temptation during some 5 years!!! Not in vain. I've got the 1st set. Which is the oldest set in your pirates collection, I wonder?

[MOC] The Devil Lady - new ship for the redcoats
Staslegomaster replied to Dreamweb's topic in Pirate MOCs
I like your creation and that you combined a few different ideas in one set. I like some of your ideas. It's good the pictures taken from different angles help see all the details. How will your sailors get into the crow's nests? Everything is well done. Did you see my Sunset Mirage? Please compare. Perhaps they look alike. Glad if it inspired you. -
The pictures taken from different angles help see all the details and that's good. I noticed there are no crow's nests. If you add them the shrouds wouldn't be high enough. Try to improve that. Otherwise everything is well done.

As far as I can guess, the sail is from "The Black Pearl" and the ship itself - from 6291. But your imagination combined this and that with a good result for a starter!
-
I understand your difficulty concerning building technics but the beginning is promissing. If you need more inspiration have a look at my "Sunset Mirage". I also combined a few ship building techniques. Keep on building!
