  1. Because they're putting the pilot of the MINI in with it. Not that I think that's a good idea, random figure would be more interesting.
  2. Then it'd cost 200 bucks more. It'd also be kinda pointless as 10143 is already the shell for the most part.
  3. Very nice...hopefully you're building the cave under the tree.
  4. I thought the same until I compared it to the official model. Yes, it's better than the original but it could be better.
  5. It was still a 4 vs 1 sword fight, and three were killed immediately. He was good but not better than Mace, so it was pretty pathetic by the other three. As for how he took power, it's all so illogical that it's best not to think about.
  6. Great MOC, love the colors and the window. I dont blame Windu, how was he supposed to know how worthless the other three Jedi were going to be? Four should have been plenty.
  7. They'll be at least $10. Nothing SW is cheap.
  8. That was more my wish list than anything. If I buy the first two OT planets I will want the others, which leaves 6 left and 8 total. There could be many more PT and CW planets, just not interested in those.
  9. I enjoy the minifig like anyone else but hate the extra price I pay for them. Fancy minifigs are expensive and drive up the already high price of Star Wars sets. I'd rather have a more accurate ship then some scuff marks on a Sandtrooper, but that's just me. Oh well, more modding will need to be done to the ships that suffered for the figures.
  10. Not to mention the Interceptor doesn't even go with the first Death Star.
  11. I say 8 planets as in the OT planets\moons. Really only 7, but the Death Star was done so now it is included. While Endor is a moon of Endor the planet, it is also called Endor. When people say Endor they are always referring to the moon unless otherwise noted considering nothing happened on the planet. Pretty much the same story with Yavin IV, even Hoth is just a planet in the Hoth System. Yavin IV and Alderaan are tough choices, but Endor? No way they leave it out.
  12. 8 planets to collect! Tatooine Death Star - (Interceptor is bad choice, they weren't used till VI.) and predictions: Bespin - (Mini Cloud Car and Cloud Car pilot) Hoth - (Mini AT-AT and AT-AT pilot) Endor - (Mini AT-ST and AT-ST pilot) Dagobah - (Mini X-wing and training Luke) Yavin IV - (Mini Y-wing and Rebel Pilot Alderaan - (Mini Tantive IV and Antilles)
  13. Agreed, the planets look great. The figs and pieces will just be bonuses to me. How closely does Naboo resemble Alderaan from space? I'm hoping I can pass one off as another just in case they never make an Alderaan planet.
  14. Jek Porkins. A mainly forgettable character, he thought he could hold it together after his ship had mechanical problems. He's gained some popularity recently as the overweight X-wing pilot in parodies.
  15. Nice one Kris! The X-wing looks better than the old one. This will also stop the discussion of R2 having a third wheel.
  16. You took it a little extreme there. All we ask is they take a second look at certain design choices. Maybe they see it's an easy fix that makes the set better and is cost effective. Maybe not. I like to think they do listen to us and make changes for future sets.
  17. While it makes perfect sense for TLG to leak their images themselves, I still say it's an employee with a secret camera. It's not like every preliminary image we've gotten in the past is fuzzy. If it IS TLG, then they need to start making changes based on the comments the pictures get.
  18. When was the last time TLG made drastic changes to a preliminary model? This summer's sets saw literally no changes even though there were many complaints.
  19. Agree fully with Strand. I guess we'll just see if TLG rereleases this set, but don't count on it. Lego makes a fortune whether they do or don't, and believe it or not, hardcore collectors/hoarders increase the value of the brand. They may dislike their huge profits but love how they make Lego's a hot item.
  20. The Blu Ray will only be in 1080p because of the SE changes; it was scanned in at that resolution. Of course, if Lucas used the original film we could have 4k resolution, but no. However, since the landing craft was a SE addition, the high def blur will be the best image you're likely to get.
  21. Nice pictures on your site. You spelled Millennium Falcon wrong though. :(
  22. Where does the bottom of the droid go when in that ship?
  23. Can you confirm the neck piece on Yoda is green? I have a hard time telling with that picture. If not, this figure is not truly exclusive. That was a trick question. There are no iconic Separatist ships.
  24. People would have loved a remake had it been drastic. The wings still don't fully close, still an unsightly axel on the back to crank the wings, still rubberbands, R2 is now sideways, etc. As for the figs, I would have loved a new Biggs or Wedge, instead of a guy who's novelty is just being fat. It's not enough to warrant getting the new one, might as well slightly mod the one you have if you don't like it. 6212 is awful in terms of accuracy, but this one is still way off as well. I'll always take a new set over a subpar remake.
  25. As stated many times before, rereleasing UCS sets cheapens the entire line. It's a collectors series, for collectors. While it's a shame the price on the aftermarket is so high, that's not TLG's fault. If you want the set, save your money or build your own...but don't cheapen the entire line because you didn't get to pull the trigger on a set. I got into the game too late to collect UCS sets...at this point I'd pay a small fortune to catch up. However, I acknowledge that this is my punishment for getting in the game too late, the early adopters have UCS sets worth 3-4 times their original value, good for them. That's what happens with a collectors line.
