I recently got the Carbon Freezing Chamber for Christmas and other than some of the parts and the figs I absolutely HATED it. But I really enjoyed the mechanism so I'm glad to see it carried over into the Darth Vader set. The new set looks really good. I'll definitely get it if its around $25 like the Carbon Freezing set.

For Thanos I'm just giving him plain blue legs since I'm making a throne moc for him and he'll be sitting but I think it works well in general. For Iron Man I'm probably going to use yellow legs with a red hip piece but the Iron Man legs from the Detroit Steel set work better and so do Nexo Knights Macie.

I just saw a very nice sticker in the Arkham Asylum set; extremely useful for a Gotham City doc and just a great reference to the character's past in general. Idk if you guys have seen it yet so I put it in spoiler tags but it is not a spoiler in any way, shape, or form. First time I actually thought of buying a set just for a sticker rather than for builds or minifigs. jk

Yeah, the Accessory Pack is for kids up to 14 I heard from a Lego youtuber who tried to get one but they also said no.

Yeah, I love the candle method of removing the keychains. Thats how I got me some cheap Supergirl and Finn figs. Just need to replace the hairpieces from parts in your own collection and you're good.

This polybag is one of the better ones of the wave but I can never dig the $75 threshold. I only spent that much once but besides that I can never get myself to spend that much at once on a toy. I feel better just distributing my purchases into smaller incriments But we'll see, I've got a decent list of stuff I want to buy for the first quarter of the year

Agreed. But honestly, I was happy with just the 2012 black and yellow suit, the New 52 suit, and BvS variant. Also, just to comment on the lesser known villain topic: I will never forgive Lego for releasing Mime before Solomon Grundy or Mad Hatter lol

Since this is pretty much the "catch-all" thread each year for seasonal stuff as well as Lego store exclusives and promos... I love it when the Lego Store and S@H do these accessory packs. Great way to get some good free stuff. Could the keychain be the movie theater promo? The polybag doesn't have the number on the front just like Pajama Emmet and the Robit DJ, and putting a keychain inside the bag seems like something the movie promo would do.

I agree but I think most of us display these for a while or modify them then scrap them for their useful pieces. I'm liking the masonry bricks in tan the Easter set offers and the black wrought-iron fence pieces and Angry Birds eggs.

For anyone in NY going to the Mt. Vernon Target don't bother unless you want a couple of Phantom Zone polybags or the Killer Moth Mighty Micro because those are all of the new sets that they put out. And of course the Batman Movie Mr. Freeze and Joker-Mobile sets. No CMFs or anything else of note.

Oh my God he looks perfect! The color change but with the same awesome printing is awesome, hope he comes in a cheaper set since he is the last Guardian I need.

I removed the armor and cape about 3 times during the first few days that I got the set to better see the torso printing and the cape was so thin by the neck hole that it ripped! Nice to see that Lego has done something I suppose since others have suffered frim similar problems.

Wow, yeah that looks like a great figure! The perfect Bane for someone like me who owns but isn't too big of a fan of the comic fig and never got the TDKR one. The size, mask, design, everything is perfect. A great combo of all versions... which is really just the New 52 version.

Already have the Mr. Freeze set so I'll get the 4 CMFs I want and the Joker Balloon and Catwoman Chase sets. Of course I also hope to get any random polybags and movie promos as well. I'm going small this wave. I wanted the Scarecrow Pizza set, but I probably won't get it becuase I want that perfect, definitive version that comes out over the Summer.

Everyone giving flack to Dunedain needs to chill. If the crew wanted him to stop they would have told him to not just said "hi." Working retail does not require a worker to be a cop. I guarantee you if he asked them, "hey could you open this pallette for me" they would have done so. And if nobody came after I asked I would have opened it too. The pallete was just laying there and other branches put the sets out already so no harm no foul. And a lot of times the Targets open the large warehouse boxes and put them on the shelves and don't take the sets out so they're still inside. That happened to me when the Deathstroke set came out so I'm just relating it to that. Of course its not the end of the world to wait a few days, but if the box is out thats a mistake on them and all you have to do is insist that you don't care that they're street dated since they are the ones that put the sets out and I guarantee you that you will get the sets. Sure, its unintentional that the sets were taken out but as a customer I have no idea what is 'supposed to be on the shelves'. Playing dumb like this, along with being a hothead and standing your ground works; and if they ever told me there was a street date I swear I would leave the store with 10 copies by the end of the conversation. Exageration of course but I would raise hell just for them to be like "fine, just pay and get out of here." No shame in getting what you want tbh. Nobody is getting hurt. Target and Lego get their cash, employees get paid, and no Target is losing the right to carry the Lego producs for this like I know many have said can occur in the past. So many places sell before release date that its not even funny.

The same thing happens to me each time I order. Just shoot them an email and let them know the situation and they should get back to you in a day or two. The order status will change a little while after they reach you and then in a few days you should get the parts. The holidays might affect the timing but the closing won't.

Haha me too, they look awesome and really useful for some of his laughing gas. And that amazing NYCC Harley Quinn is probably the one coming in the fifth set next year with Batman's plane and the canon build.

Agreed. First the Goblin, then Power Armor Lex, and then this. And yeah, I'm gonna combine 2013 Freeze's body with this one's head. If anybody has both of these figs could you post a picture of the combo described please?

That vehicle plus the obligatory Batman one makes it seem like Bane's set could possibly be $20-$30. ($30 most likely) Very happy to see.

And if we want to go even deeper: in the Avengers Assemble cartoon Justin Hammer is the one who created the Super Adaptoid so both of them appearing in the same wave is a pretty smart move sort of like Hyperion and Iron Skull appearing in last year's wave together as they are part of the Cabal in the show. (Along with MODOK and Attuma, the latter of which we do not have yet) Anyway, I'm liking the head they chose for Hammer even though at first I didn't think it was too accurate. If you look at it for a while it really does start to look like Sam Rockwell. My only critique is the brown hair, I would probably give the fig the the CMF Hiker's dark blond hair because personally, I don't see Rockwell's as hair being that dark in the movie as the lights make it look much lighter even though it is a brown color. And while I'm at it, the printing on his helmet looks cool but the one for Iron Man is pretty lackluster. Way too simple and circular when compared to the current more detailed Iron Man which I am definitely more partial to as of right now.
