  1. Black is really the only problem, not regular colors even if they are darker.
  2. Honestly, Lego has not been kind to Marvel villains the last 2 years. I mean no Ego, no Zemo, no Kaecillius, no Dormammu - that last of which is understandable really because of the secrecy that came with Dormammu - but the others were big time antagonists that we will most likely only see once on screen given Marvel's previous villain track record. (Granted I haven't seen GOTG 2 yet so idk) There should be a special set with just these guys in it and a small build of Asgard because we're missing that major piece of the MCU as well.
  3. Secret... Wars ;) As for mine, I just thought it looked cool from the moment I saw the AoU poster.
  4. New Jango Fett head works well for a Cable head. Especially with some slicked back or widows peak white hair hmm...
  5. Guess you could call him Heckboy... Sorry. Great MOC @vitreolum :)
  6. Also found Yondu's torso, Lowrider Joker torso, Rocket's tail, Ayesha's gold hair, exclusive/hard to find pink parts and limbs from the Abelisk set, Palpatine's legs, Luke's hair... from what I checked.
  7. Hopefully, when/if Goliath comes in a set he will also have a Giant Man and Ares style build to go with him.
  8. Courtesy of LordofLore on NeoGAF: Also, I think Cyborg's "new arm mold" is just a regular arm holding one of these pieces https://brickset.com/parts/6112751/plate-1x1-w-3-2-shaft-1-5-hole with a stud on it and some weird angling on the box. Thats a new low Lego. Batman's cowl might also be a new mold with rounder ears just looking at some higher quality photos from Delta.Customs on Instagram.
  9. I agree. Right now it kind of looks like Elrond from the Witch King set with a different head and hair combo.
  10. The Hela set is the absolute worst set that I've seen all year. Of any theme. Hands down. The only redeeming factor is Hela herself; the Fenris Wolf build looks cluttered, the vehicle really does look like a Juniors set and all for fifty dollars...?! They can miss me with that shit. Arena build looks better than I thought it would but I would have liked if the colors were a little more muted. For $60... idk. I want the Hulk and Grandmaster figs because of how iconic they are but I can't justify it. i'm also running out of display space and an arena definitely doesn't help the situation lol. Alleluia. These really are a massive step down.
  11. That Aquaman set... I think for once not even sand green can save something. The minifigure recycling here is even worse than the Civil War sets. And also... more black Batman vehicles for the DC sets this year. woohoo.
  12. This pic has been out for a week, nothing new really shown but still cool. Really liking those wings the more I see them.

  14. I think Ares' head could be used for a decent MCU Dormammu head. The black with red eyes looks pretty accurate.
  15. Vet's hands are bright azure or something like that. Cheapest blue hands I could find currently on shelves is Ultimate Clay from Nexo Knights ~$10. Lego Juniors Batman's hands are also blue, the set is ~$20 but its contents may prove to be more useful than the Nexo Knights set.
  16. Yeah, the set is at a Lego Discovery Center (LDC) in PA around where Philly Brick Fest is going on according to Bubba Bricks on Insta and Youtube.
  17. Lego is not some small proprietorship that has just a few designers thus forcing them to prioritize funds and which theme gets the most attention. They're a massive corporation constantly planning out who will be designated to work on each set or theme and bringing in new designers for maximum efficiency. As @Ashnflash said, it is clearly an issue of concept art just like what happened with Vision, Ant Man, and the different spider symbol on Spider-Man's torso in the Civil War Tanker Truck set. Honestly the Iron Man helmet for Vulture would work well if it was in a different color other than dark green. In pretty much all the concept art or promo materials the "beak" is not so large that it requires a new mold unlike something like Hela that is pretty much iconic and cannot be accomplished with a print or existing mold. Its really just a matter of whether or not the designers think the something can be portrayed with a print or existing mold rather than a new ones; its not laziness.
  18. Right. That would be pretty cool. Also, recently got the Ayesha's Revenge set. What a let down. Yondu, Groot, Star Lord, and the smaller drone ship are the highlights of the set. The bigger ship is just a hodge-podge of parts and reminds me of a worse version of a city submarine; nothing like the ship from the trailer Yondu pilots which is what the set is based after. A half decent parts pack though.
  19. Yeah I was going to say the same thing. Or maybe they're going the Nexo Knights route and printing a face print onto a silver or metallic head to make the illusion of Tony's Heads Up Display (HUD)
  20. Lol I was wondering the same thing. What new information did this add?
  21. Ooh bummer, so a new one completely? Thats pretty cool that they didn't skimp out on him because they could've easily given him Loki or generic clone's head.
  22. The one from the Doc Ock set from last year right? Thats pretty awesome, I really liked that print.
  23. For torsos I suggest the ocean king CMF and erasing the printing off the new CMF weightlifter legs for dual molded yellow and black legs. I'm not sure about heads though, sorry.
  24. This debate is still going hard I see and all we have gathered is that Lego portrayed Hela's makeup and head crown combo as a single piece. So now I ask the complainers... what alternative would you have Lego use? Exactly.
  25. Hate to be that guy but are we going to be getting Skurge as a figure?
