Haha same, he is a really awesome looking figure.

It has been pointed out in the other thread that the "neck" of the Catman's head is skin toned and not black like the official BvS figure so I don't think Catman's head is a good fit anymore.

We've been dealing with Batman with a darker skin color for a while lol but yeah the neck being flesh instead of black ruins it. Edit: with official pics now out I think I may need to pick up Harley as well. -
The Lego Batman Movie CMF Series has officially been revealed and I instantly noticed that Catman's head would be perfect for adding stubble to the BvS Ben Affleck Batman minifigure.

Huge Batman fan right here (just look at that title) but I have to say... Not a fan of this series. Of course it encompasses the zany world of the Lego Batman Movie but that isn't really up my alley. One of the weakest minifigure series imo. The only ones I'll definitely be picking up are: Red Hood (love that its a combination of the Jason Todd and OG Joker versions), Lobster Batman (for the lobster of course), and Commisoner Gordon. Orca and Rock Star Batman are cool too but I think I'll pass on them. -

I'm probably the only person who wants a repeat Babs with her GCPD vest and recoloted black Robo-Swat legs. But I'm all for a trenchcoat down the line. -

And with a little modification (Dr. Who head and hair maybe?) we could have our first figure of Vic Dibitetto/his character in the movie. -

My thoughts exactly. Judging from the trailer the Scarecrow helicopter looks great and so does Scarecrow himself, probably the most definitive version of the character we'll ever get, right up there with the 2013 Arkham version. Very excited. -

Is vacation Batman the bare-chested / 6 pack on the beach in one of the promo images? If it is it would be an easy way to get those torsos instead of Bricklinking the fig from the Indiana Jones!!! -

Ms. Marvel's arms shouldn't get any stress marks or dinks on them because they aren't like flex tubes I don't think - they have ridges like Lego's hose pieces. Am I the only one who sees those ridges?- 5,808 replies

Really well done review of a great set.
-
He said that he takes a lot of creative liberties like when he drew an AIM agent in one of his comics or when he drew Scarface. He also drew the 75 years of Marvel poster from last year with a lot of characters that have no business showing up in sets like Super Skrull. I wouldn't get my hopes up on anything from the comics tbh, and if anything from them show up in sets it is purely coincidental.

^Pretty great idea. Would work well with 2016 Nya's all blue head for Mystique. If anyone wants to make a Batman: The Animated Series Mr. Freeze use the Juniors torso and face with the Batman movie armor and dome along with (maybe) Beast Boy's legs. The hands and dual molded boots are different shades or purple so you could either make the hands a darker shade or leave it, if you think it won't be that noticeable.

Come on man, this is like the nine thousandth time you've pulled something like this. Its almost troll status and the fact you don't have a profile photo just adds to this idea. Check the site before acting like you're bringing something new to the table. Sorry if this sounds harsh but this isn't your first time doing this. -
EB Xmas Raffle 2016 - Your ideal Snow entry thread
Legocity2713 replied to CopMike's topic in LEGO Town
When I think of snow I think of it from a writer's point of view: the sentimentality of childhood memories, spending Christmastime with family, children's faces lighting up when walking by festive store windows, footpaths covered in a coating of snow, a joyous season to appreciate and reflect on all the good the year has brought. To sum it all up, when I think of snow I think of the joy and the magic it brings to the world. (Hence why Dr. Strange is in the pic) :P ***Please excuse the bad photo quality - thankfully this is only a raffle and not a contest based on quality of the photo and build -
LEGO Star Wars 2017 Pictures and Rumors

The U-Wing looks like one of the best Microfighters that we've ever gotten. Its so sleek and that exclusive fig just puts it above and beyond. I loved the Battle on Takodana set from last year so granted I like the Sacriff set as well even if it does look like a movie set and not a completed in universe location. The parts are useful, you get some great figs (nice to have the 2 main characters in one set, wish that they put Rey in the Takodana set alongside Finn now that I'm looking at it) and you get the Death Star plans and another one of those orange crates for the Hover-Tank. It really is the must have set for the Rogue One line imo, it encompasses everything about the movie so well. That said, I'll probably only be getting the Imperial Battle Pack since the figs are too cool to pass up and my Star Wars collection really only consists of battle packs. (Blasphemy i know) -

So, even with the more accurate prices coming through from different means (both Canadian ones and otherwise), we're still not looking at anything under $800 for the wave. Even more if you want the Dimensions expansion pack which is probably going to be $50 like the Ghostbusters one. So... This is the theme that keeps on giving... or taking (money) really. -

Legocity2713 replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Why not just get all of them day one in January I know it's crazy and it sounds even crazier after you do the math using Brickset's prices as a basis: You're looking at $615 for the whole line of already revealed boxed sets. Assuming that the Scarecrow set is $15 it'll be $630. If it;s $20 like the Mr. Freeze set then the total goes up to $640. Assuming that the Arctic Roller is $40 you're looking at $680. If the car is $50 like the Joker Pimp-Mobile then its $690. This total rises to $770 if you'll also be buying the complete set of CMFs for $80. Assuming that the polybags are the standard $5 each and not promo items we're looking at $780! ... Plus tax (and shipping if you're buying online) as well as anything that will be released alongside the line such as exclusive minifigs in books, in-store offers, or what have you plus other promo polybags. Not to mention tickets to see the movie itself (hoping that they have a promo for that like they did for TLM) and the 5 other sets coming out in the summer wave and the maybe some others well past that and a possible UCS set? So you're not looking at anything below $800 for right now. Depending on how much money you're making as an AFOL in the US with a steady income (including minimum wage) you're working anywhere from a few days to a week to two weeks to almost a month even up to an entire month just to afford these sets... and that is the ideal situation if you're not counting any other expenses for living. Insane! Compare that to the entire line of Lego Movie sets which was $820 for boxed sets and the CMF series. $1,070 with the Sea Cow; even more if you bought the video game and just a tad bit more with the key-light, keychains, notepads, books and polybags included. I don't want this to become a huge discussion about economics and inflation and specialized molds or what not, I'm just pointing this out and letting it sit. Wonder if anybody will do a massive haul day one -

So Clyaface is looking only slightly better in the new pics but I feel like the build will still be bad in hand. Maybe he could use some smooth circular tiles? As for the legs, making them longer would look even weirder I feel now. Idk, I just give up on that set at this point. Someone else take the wheel. Croc set is cool. We're getting so close to making the perfect Killer Croc with those chains around the wrists... but the head? WHY?! Still, I like him better than I thought I would from the trailers and the build is pretty cool even if I'm not the biggest fan of oversized vehicles. Riddler's car, much like many sets of this wave, is solely for the figs. Those designs and printing are straight up phenomenal. Nobody is hyping up the cane though, haven't we waited FOREVER to get one and everyone is just overlooking it? Granted its not the greatest but it would work awesome as a riddler trophy on the side of a building or something a la the Arkham Games. The 3 smallest sets, now 4 with Catwoman one are the only ones I'll be picking up. The Catwoman bike is great and with some modding would work well for a scaled down Ghost Rider bike. Loving the figs and the builds in that one; even the small jewelry shop I love since as it reminds me of some of my shop builds when I first got back into Lego *sigh* the good ol' days -
