  1. Haha oh man, its been nice seeing you around this forum. Guess this is goodbye.
  2. Haha awesome! It always works for me for pics but not videos for some reason. Seeing everything in the review makes me want to get it now. Lots of good, rarer parts plus a great Aquaman. I was kind of iffy on the fig but I've officially been swayed. One of those guards is definitely going to be used for a more accurate GOTG2 Ayesha figure. Just need to swap in some golden hands.

  5. The prices for all these sets look like they'll be fair and nothing crazy expensive. That said, 2/3 of the sets are subpar. The Cyborg set looks the best out of all of them. For once I can say, "nice helicopter Lego" Happy to pick it up. Lex's mech looks like a bad MOC. The Lobo set is nothing special either. Krypto, while a great mold, is not neccessary for my personal collection as I have the cuter Superhero Girls version that fits the bill just fine. Not a fan of Cheetah to the point where I'd rather continue using the innacurate Tiger Woman CMF as a substitute. All this waiting for a fig of her to have basic black legs and no arm printing... Killer Frost's hair is a strange choice to say the least. The random molded explosion-type of accessory pieces are ok but not very Lego-like imo.
  6. The Origin of the Species book really completes the look, nice work.
  7. Someone on Reddit found the Knightcrawler set in Target already. He apparently didn't look at the DPCI tho.
  8. "Is that science or garbage?" "Its Dutch art." Thats a fact. these prices are embarassing. Everything is $10-$20 more than it should be.
  9. Where are those pieces that look like cardboard boxes from? A Friends set?
  10. Are the white studs in the Aquaman set glow in the dark or plain white? Or are they gray...? Having a hard time telling
  11. On the whole X-Men thing I have a hopeless desire that one day we may get Mr. Sinister as Lord Krakenskull from Nexo Knights has the perfect cape for him. As for Infinity War sets, give me a Black Widow figure that looks more like her "classic" appearance - honestly just take the AoU one and get rid of the blue - a minifig sized Groot, and a Thanos big fig with Infinity Gems - I don't care if they rehash the Avenjet mold.
  12. Took the words right out of my mouth
  13. Even though the major sites have shown it I'm still posting this here lol http://www.thebrickfan.com/lego-seasonal-christmas-ornament-5004934/ Love the "box-ception" going on on the packaging. Pretty lackluster build but the girl figure has a cool torso and legs.
  14. ^ 1960s Batcave. Joker's hair, Penguin's top hat, Robin's torso, some regular hair pieces for Alfred, Robin, and Bruce, the tan Shakespeare bust head and hair combo are all available to buy. Rock pieces and other pieces to build are also available pretty much the same as before.
  15. The fully red ones look better than the yellow ones with red hips surprisingly. Dual molding will definitelt help. Awesome to see some classic Avengers together in those pics too btw
  16. Yeah I would want to see those Iron Man combos as well
  17. I had the same idea for the umbrella stand from the moment I saw the umbrella in TLBM. I think I posted the idea here on Eurobricks actually, pretty cool to see it in a set. Am I allowed to say that great minds think alike?
  18. When I build, my rule is to not stop until I am satisfied to keep the MOC permanantly as a display. I mostly build scenes from the Marvel movies to pay my respects to them and show my love for the comics. I only have like 5 vignette style builds because of this and one of them is really a MOD of the Sanctum Sanctorum. Sets are a different story. I usually keep them around for a few days or a week. If I really like a component from a build, like Coulson's Lola or Wonder Woman's Ares or Homecoming's Vulture, I keep them around as displays permanantly and intergrate them into scenes/MOCs or modify them. Everything else gets scrapped for parts.
  19. ^ Y'know that got me thinking that the Atlantean Guard's torso and legs with some gold hands would make a more accurate body for Gotg Ayesha. Nothing too "manly" about the fig so it works pretty well for a female.
  20. Thats a good point about the Aquaman sets. And yeah, purist customizing can always help in phasing out any figures one isn't too crazy about.
  21. God, I hate those Atlantean Guards so much that I would have taken a repeated Batman figure over one of them.
  22. Can you do that for all parts that are listed but not able for purchase online? Because thats actually awesome to know. Thanks for the heads up
  23. SDCC exclusive DC BrickHeadz http://comicbook.com/dc/2017/06/27/lego-brickheadz-supergirl-martian-manhunter
  24. I thought they've been on there for a little while. Granted I haven't checked for a few weeks but were they taken down in that period of time? Still awesome to know, thanks.
