  1. I think the white ancient greek warrior woman's shield works pretty well from that one CMF series. Thats the one I use now
  2. Facts, people have gotten black-balled and banned for that type of stuff. That said, the brighter WW looks great and Ares is a phenomenal play and display piece. Even the plane is a pretty cool build with some useful stickers.
  3. Dark blue hood and cape in the new Wonder Woman set works great for a Demo-Goblin minifigure alongside Hobgoblin's head. Also in the Wonder Woman set, Ares' brick built curved "head" would be great for a Dormammu figure from the Dr. Strange movie; with some MOC-ing of course.
  4. A "better" (?) pic of the new Alfred fig coming out
  5. Does she still have the side arm vambrace printing?
  6. I think Mantis has a good more green torso for a comic version of Hela Also, if anybody wants to make a Madame Gao minifig from Marvel's Daredevil and Iron Fist I recommend: - Bridge Battle Aunt May's head with this hair: http://brickset.com/sets/containing-part-4589270 - Any random Asian inspired civillian torso and legs work for the body
  7. First couple episodes of Iron Fist blow. But the minute we get to episodes 4, 5, 6, etc. it gets so good. The fighting becomes more fluid and one single take and we get some familiar faces showing up which is always a plus.
  8. Now Hela, that's something I can get behind. Her fig looks great!
  9. Oh my god they look horrible. Thor is the only one I can sort of stomach. It looks like Loki has a generic Clone Trooper's head tacked onto Taskmaster's body and Banner looks like somebody's bad purist version. Even the head doesn't look that great.
  10. I know they are the real deal because Jerry confirmed it on his page and Sir Gareth is amazing with this kind of stuff, but the designs remind me so much of bootlegs and not the quality Lego is known for Maybe its just the lighting in the photo...
  11. Agreed. And I really don't want to ruin a piece by painting it, that's where I draw the line for myself as far as minifigure (or big fig) customization goes. Probably just going to use ultimate Green Goblin's arm with the metal armor nearing the shoulder like many have used in the past for a purist replacement.
  12. Gladiator Hulk via reddit: https://i.reddituploads.com/6a3697fa51bd43629b30b992f823f3e8?fit=max&h=1536&w=1536&s=117a9c9622612e0b36be974168d75a87
  13. I did as well. Removing the 2x4 light gray pieces from a horizontal position to one in which they are parallel to the chassis right? EDIT: Ninja'd
  14. The mirror under trans pieces acting as water relection is honestly a revolutionary idea. Sick build man! :)
  15. For this very reason, there should be an upvote button.
  16. Got some ideas from some of the Toy Fair pics: - Spider-Man Homecoming Hulk thug's head could be used for a Goblin Nation thug figure - Spider-Man Homecoming Captain America thugs's head could be used for a Nomad Steve Rogers mask - Aayla Secura's head from the new Star Wars tank set could be used for the all time greatest Mystique head - Mentioned by another person, the new CMF figure of the old school futuristic sci-fi spaceman could be used for a Melter figure from Marvel - The gunmetal gray bad guy (idk his name) from the Rathar Escape set has a good head that could be used for Winter Soldier complete with the strained eyes look (would look best with a black Ninjago mask imo) - Star Wars Advent Calendar rebel soldier's torso would work well for Guardians of the Galaxy 2 Ego the Living Planet
  17. In the second pic with the Tinkerer you can see the back of the white van we're getting in the Vulture set.
  18. I think this guy from Reddit wins the Spider-Verse competition. Like... by a thousand country miles. I mean look at that Jackal from the Clone Conspiracy arc! Those boots on iron Spider! The Inheritors! Merlin! All of them are absolute perfection Photo and link to original page below: https://www.reddit.com/r/lego/comments/5twth7/update_to_my_spiderverse_after_bl_orders/
  19. New look at the Milano polybag. Best look so far as it also shows us that there really is no microfig in it as originally thought in the originally grainy images. :/
  20. Wow... February 2017 release date for the new Marvel sets is a welcomed surprise! And lets just take a moment to appreciate the fact that the Coulson and Lola set is $30 and not $40 like originally thought! Definitely worth buying at that price point now! Definitely going to get the smallest of the two Guardians sets fairly quickly and the Milano will be a splurge down the line. I must be the only person who likes it and it has a great "Awesome Mix Tape Volume 2" sticker too.
  21. Yeah, according to one Reddit and Imgur user's post of his receipt from a New York state TRU: Rocket is $20, Ayesha is $30, and Milano is indeed $50. The only one we were really unsure about I think was the Milano since the rumors ranged anywhere from $40 to $45 up to $60. http://imgur.com/a/yvma1
  22. Apparently, the Batgirl fig will be available at Targets at some point. Some Reddit user posted this image and he says there was no other explanation other than this...
  23. Guess that rumored Batgirl polybag we first got word of on here a few months ago was true...
  24. Just made Crime-Master using Zodiac Master's head, The Eraser's torso and legs, and Western Emmet's cowboy hat. Threw in a 60s style Spider-Man as well. :)
  25. Can the Lola's wheels in the Detroit Steel set be rotated a full 90 degrees so its horizontal in flight mode? Because in almost all the pics and reviews the wheels are vaguely diagonal and not perfectly flat but there shouldn't be anything stopping such a simple movement in the build.
