Naah. It's probably still in production, unlike 10221 which seems to be finished. The Executor will probably be a September release, while the unknown one will most likely be November/December.

Well actually, every year there are normally two LEGO Exclusives (10XXX sets). So the executor is one, and we still have one more coming.

Hmm, this could use some work. Firstly, the diameter of the fuselage is all wrong, especially in comparison to the tail end of the ship. Also, the astrodroid socket is slightly too high, when you take into consideration the point where the cockpit window stands. PM for some tips, please. Just kidding, this is genius and I love it! Great entry.

That looks awesome guys! I can't believe that you model your own pieces though, it looks amazing! Why don't you just build in MLCAD, then export to 3ds though?

Guys! Analyze the picture closely. From what I see, the bottom isn't angled at all. It's completely flat. The top plates are angled, but the bottom plates are straight (on the X axis), so that is probably the floor. This is obviously a playset, and I just hope it has a detailed interior, like the death star. I really hope they do something about the flat bottom, or at least add the greebs...

That's amazing!! I'm definitely getting that set. But it looks to me like there IS an interior. . .with the studs facing up on the bottom, it looks to me like that is the floor, and you can probably remove the roof. And why would it come with figures if there is no interior? Correct me if I'm wrong but that hasn't been done before, has it?

No, I don't think Echo Base will be one of the 10XXX sets. Every recent year, in the summer-fall wave, we have gotten two retailer exclusives, and two LEGO exclusives. The Naboo SF and the Echo Base set seem to be the retailer exclusives, so the two UCS/LEGO exclusives are yet to be seen.

I just realized, last year we got news of the first UCS in January! So how come we still have no idea of this years? Here is the Brickset article

Some of it is good, and some of it is too cluttered. One thing I like to do is use only ONE color of 1x1 stud throughout the whole MOC, usually trans light blue. It just helps it look less crowded.

So, does anyone think the 2012 boxes will be smaller than normal, because of the new 8093 and 7929 boxes?

I found a Battle of Naboo at Wal-mart, and it had the same smaller-sized box as the new Plo Koon starfighter box.

Thats a great idea! I don't think I'm going to any of these events though. But what I'm thinking, is that you post the .lxf of your model here, and whoever wants to can try and build it. If they are successful, then they can post it. This is because I'm just thinking it would be diffincult to analyze the model and decide if you have all the peices.

It's looking pretty good, and I like the mandibles. I can't say the greebling looks good though, it needs to be a bit more subtle, in my opinion.

Seriously guys? Do you really want box art with young Anikan on it? Darth Maul is a great choice for TPM, probably the best. The only other choice I can imagine is Qui-gon. Maybe Obi-wan. And I agree with CommanderFox, this is already looking like a 2012 rumour topic

I don't think so. The death star was pretty much the ultimate playset, and I don't think TLG will ever do that, because I can't even think of something as iconic as the death star. I'm thinking this will end up in the $150-$250 price range, with maybe 15 minifigs?

And is it just me, or has nrg usually been correct? In any case though, we will obviously get two LEGO exclusives, and I hope at least one is a UCS.

What black colour scheme? We had the Rex one, then before that the white Clone Trooper art. Unless you mean the tenth anniversary one, which was only on special sets.

LOL, that Darth Talon, in my humble opinion, wouldnt look great as a minifigure. Those clouds in the background would make great box art though! Also, I'm hoping there is more white on the boxes, like on the second picture. The blue and the white blend really nicely together, I find.

I dunno, I'm still not sure if I like having a main character on the box art. I kind of liked the various clone trooper designs. Maybe some kind of droid or something for TPM? But I definitely like his pose and expression And please don't lock this thread , it's so cool to have a 2012 thread already
