LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors
brickbuilder replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
2012 UCS? Remember, we are still looking out for a second 2011 UCS that has not been confirmed yet. Also, this should go in the Future Star Wars sets topic. But a Slave 1 would make a great UCS, as well as a Venator. -

Awww yeah. There are plenty of iconic PT sets too! Pfft. OT fans. Just kidding. But there is the Venator, RGS, Nubian, Venator, AT-TE, Droid Control ship, Venator... Wait, did I already say that? I think the Venator is pretty iconic, and I still want a UCS. -

Yeah, I think they see a lot of PT/CW sets coming up, so they decided to get all the OT sets out of the way with this wave, preparing them for Season 4/AOTC/ROTS. I think the summer wave will be an AOTC wave, followed by either ROTS or AOTC battle packs in 2013. But we don't want to go down that road of speculation again . But I have to disagree with you Brickdoctor, I can't see any reason why they would do a PT wave in 2016, as a lot of the iconic PT sets will probably be covered in the coming waves. -

We haven't had any pictures in the first place. But yes I can't wait either!! And what's so funny? -

I don't really know what you are asking. But we aren't getting any of those minifigs in 2012. And as far as I know, there are no Clone troopers that are specialized for AT-TE driving. What is this? Is it something other than the 8 sets, the three planets, and the game that is confirmed to be released in 2012? -

AT-TE Driver...? I really doubt the ARC will be Echo or Fives, although it would be awesome if we got them in a later set. I think it will be a yellow, red, or blue one from Kamino. And I don't mean Commander Colt, there is a different red ARC in the background. Also, I think we will get a Rancor Battalion ARF, just my educated guess. I don't think we would get the same one as this years battle pack. But a Geonosis Camo would be . -

They aren't. They are just big molded pieces with studs on top. -
Just bought an 7675 AT-TE for $60.

Well, Mirandir saw prelims, which is where he got his news, so they must be out there. I wonder how soon we will see them... -
Welcome to Eurobricks! We have no rumours or confirmation of any Midi-scale sets for 2011. It is very late, and it is most likely we will not get one. It really is too bad, as I quite liked the Midi-scale as well, and was hoping for more sets in the line.

Mirander says we are just getting the cannon, Gree, Bariss in a CW version, a geonosian, and a Zombie geonosian. -

The cannon is most likely $25, if TLG follows their usual pattern. Well, Mirandir said it was, and as we can see, the rest of his info is correct. I don't think the Hoth Game counts. Leaving one spot for the second SE set. -

That would really be a great set. I am interested to see how they will do the escape pod, hopefully it will be very detailed. I hope they also really step it up with the X-wing as they did with the TIE. And for the SE sets, we know one of them (the JSF), which is safe to say is accurate, since the rest of Mirandir's info was accurate. But what could the other be? If Mirandir is right once again, it will be OT. And speaking of Mirandir, thank you! Looks like your information was correct after all. -

Wow! Sweet. Awesome. The list isn't amazing, but the OT sets are great. And the Geonosian Cannon sounds sweet. And the battle packs are must-haves. Okay, maybe this actually is pretty awesome. So wait, are we getting 2 ARC troopers? Cool. I hope they are properly done with all the accessories and such. And no news on the SE sets. Huh. But the "Planet" sets sound ridiculous. They seem like kids toys. Oh wait, that's what they are! I'll probably still pick them up if they are well designed. -

Well Mirandir says he will have one normal Anikan face and one "evil yellow sith eyes" face. And I don't know if his hair will be a new mold, but it'll definitely be different. -

He said all of the six OT sets were. There is a couple TPM sets, a CW set, and the ROTS set that may or may not be remakes. -

Ummm... Imperial V-wing anyone? AT-AP? And I really doubt this is a CW set, as it comes with a Mustafar platform and droid, and Nute Gunray, which fits perfectly with the ROTS scene. And I'm sure if there are Eta-2s in the CW, Anikan will have his yellow one. -

Awesome but for $40?! It better be good. Other than the price though, it sounds fricken awesome! -

The TIE is actually 9492, and the EP3 set is $40 and is a SE set. And the remaining prices are actually $25, $25, and $30. But thanks. -

Nope. This one will be $60, while the other one was $50. -

So if it's 9493, then it will be $60. At $10 more than the previous one, I hope it is worth it. Sleeker sounds good. I hope there is at least a little bit of SNOT involved in the build. The white doesn't bother me too much, but I would prefer it in gray. That's the thing - 6212 is starting to disappear from S&H and stores. -

Yeah, we already had that discussion, but nobody likes to talk about things that aren't legit rumours. Awesome! I just hope it looks better than the old one. EDIT: And I guess R5 will come with the new mold! -

Because winter wave sets only go up to $60, while summer wave sets go up to $120-$140. But it is possible we get an ISD this summer. Unless it is a UCS/Exclusive, which could be released at pretty much any time in the year (ex. 10195 was released in march). -

Yeah KimT seems to know what's going on. But he's on vacation now, and he says he will clear things up when he gets back. I don't know when that is going to be though. As for rumours, I really just don't know. I'm just going to wait for confirmation from KimT. And guys, no way are we getting an ISD in the January wave.
