Would the Darth Maul head have a custom molded rubber head, or just a minifigure head with printing?
-
I have a feeling it's going to have exclusive figures...
-
I wonder what it'll be in Canada, because the Venator is $120 US and $150 in Canada and the Turbo Tank is $120 US and $160 in Canada.
-
Well I guess more $20 ($28 ) because look at the january wave's $25 sets, they look bigger than the Freeco Speeder and stuff like that.
-
No, I think an A-wing or a TIE these days would definitely meet the $25 price point ($35 in Canada )
-
There's a game called the Quest for R2-D2 on Lego.com, and if you beat it you get instructions to build a Malevolence. It uses pieces from every (non-exclusive) 2009 Star Wars set. I built it, but I found the instructions on youtube, because I suck at the game by the way, it's the set in my avatar

Those minifigs in the Yavin temple look pretty cool. I don't think they've been in any other sets, have they?

MINI Rebel Snowspeeder (T-47 Airspeeder)
brickbuilder replied to Legostein's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I doubt it, unless the snow speeder is really half the size of a star destroyer -
Does Savage Opress actually have a double bladed lightsaber?

I havn't got the time for a review, but I will tell you it's an awesome set, and when you build it, it really feels like a $100 set. (although I got it for $130 in Canada )

Which is your favourite upcoming Lego minifigure in 2011?
brickbuilder replied to commanderneyo's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I really like the Horn Company trooper from the battlepack. -
I was planning to get all the sets, but then the Malevolence came along and slapped me in the face . If you guys could only have 1 set from 2011 what would it be? Mine would be the Consular frigate.
-
I'm really excited about the Consular frigate, I've been waiting for a set with Jek, Rys, and Thire since the start of the Clone Wars. Also the Millenium Falcon should be awesome.
-
I believed Jordon up until the malevolence was mentioned. There's just too many big sets now. I don't think I'll be able to afford all of them anymore. Like everyone else, I'm waiting for pics. And by the way, check out my avatar, it's the new malevolence!!! just kidding, I actually built the one that TLG gave instructions for.
-
Yeah, now that the new clones have leg printing, I'm guessing they have new printing machines or something? Because half the figures these days have loads of printing. What's next, arm printing? That would be kind of cool, but it would definitely jack up the prices even more.
-
I was hoping we'd get some Clones with the Frigate, or a Jedi other than Anakin, because we all have lots of Anakins right? (I personally have 9, and it'll be 10 next wave.)
-
I'm a bit disappointed in the figures for the Frigate, but I'm interested to see th Naval Officers.
-
I want Ben Quadrinaro's podracer! For some reason, I doubt that the millenium falcon is $250. It's probably $150. (which is $200 in Canada )

Fanworld Cologne - My Star Wars Layout

Whoaaaa!!! That's amazing! I love how you have so many ewoks and look at all those sets!! -
Sorry, i just ended up putting a link, because I fumbled for 20 minutes trying to get the link from flickr! Anyway, does anyone else find it odd that in Landing at Point Rain the Privates had red Y-Wings and now only the commander does? I thought only Lego screwed things up like that
-
Actually the Squadron commander (anakin I think) had a red y-wing Red Y-Wing
-
Would now be a good time to bring up this picture again? The red thing must be the y-wing, and the brown one either the geonosian starfighter, or the Redeco AAT (This:)
-
I think the $250 thing was just a reference to the dropship with at-ot. Or they could be UCS EDIT: Now that I think about it, that would be pretty awesome!

A newbie crashing the party - looking for a recommendation...
brickbuilder replied to seibab's topic in LEGO Star Wars
For the price range you are looking at, I'd take a look at this iconic Original Trilogy set: 10198 Tantive IV If you son is more into Clone Wars, then try these two: Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser Clone Turbo Tank The latter two are slightly more difficult to build, but should be okay. -
Actually, it's called a UT-AT (Unstable Terrain Artillery Transport) http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Unstable_Terrain_Artillery_Transport
